      How much are you being paid by Goldbacks?

    • @silverlocomotive9127
      @silverlocomotive9127 Год назад

      @@cgcoins3639 who cares? People scoff at the value to price of a GB. But compare it to a gift card. Buy a $50 gift card today and see what it buys a year from now. Buy a GB today and you’ll get exactly what you paid for it in return for goods and services. If gold goes up the value of that GB does as well. People cant get that. It’s like buying a gift card tide to the price of gold that doesn’t expire

    • @silverlocomotive9127
      @silverlocomotive9127 Год назад

      You have to start mentioning how they compare to a gift card. Yes they are an expense compared to the price of gold. They’re not an investment. But buying a goldback gets you the same return on goods and services for the price you paid to acquire one. A fifty dollar gift card wont buy what it could have a year from now. If gold goes up in value it most certainly will have more purchasing power a year later. This is the nuance that people just dont get!

      We gotta make a trust to collect enough money and add Florida series ourselves. We would have to invest more than 432,000 GBs altogether to sponsor a new state like Florida. Good thing is, on top of having our own state series, we’d get 3.5% interest on the investment, which would be at least 15,120 GBs annually.
      For example, we could invite people to invest at least 1,000 GBs (about $4,000, not that much) Then, you’d only have to find 432 members in the whole Great State of Florida. Then, we get the series and each member gets an annual income of 35 GBs which is not bad at all for an investment of $4,000 paid off in literal gold.

      Don't think about Gokdbacks in terms of selling for metal content.
      They are meant to be used to buy things, in lieu of paper currency.
      A better way to look at them is in their "buying power", which is reflected in their Exchange Rate, which is roughly $3.80 right now. It might have cost you $5 to get GB1, but it's not so bad when you remember you can buy almost $4 of goods or service with it. The initial cost of buying GB is like bringing them into circulation, except it's YOU doing it and not a government.

    I love the idea but I am concerned that China 🇨🇳 will produce fake Goldbacks
    That is why I ask
    How do I test the authenticity of Goldbacks

    am I the only person afraid of these changes? It sounds to me like Goldback Inc is prepping to make the goldbacks into a currency that does not contain any physical gold inside.

      They would become pointless if they did that. There is absolutely no reason for that to happen, so no.

      @@rhettmeyers474 there is a reason - if goldbacks become popular enough, they may just turn into being backed by gold (literally in the name), which allows them to print more goldbacks than they have gold, and eventually take them off the gold standard altogether. The incentives are great.
