It's life eh, its a bit if an odd one I waffle u know and I don't mind sharing sometimes whats really real in life now I'm slowly realising it kinda helps ppl also, I guess when we're down and struggling we think we're alone and others around are doing great i guess i show that theres other out there ina similar position,honestly financially I couldn't be much lower but in a way that a good thing anything better will be a positive move, also IF we ever make it on RUclips would be fantastic to look back on these times and know that it wasnt earnt easy and the struggle was worth it ... its life eh

As someone else has said the bushes with the yellow flowers is called Gorse, it’s got narly thorns but the flowers are edible and there’s recipes to make wine and beer with them.
When you go to Scotland the midges are just starting so take some repellent.
As for those DofE kids, they’re not allowed to wild camp so they will of been at some form of established camp site.

I ain't gonna lie Adam, we love your vids, we've decided to convert my estate to do a bit of car camping later in the summer, going to do a local one first and see how we get on.

@@ghulamqadiri638 it's just a Dacia Logan but is cheap as chips to run and is at least 4' wide in the back, girlfriend's up for it too which is always a bonus.

I'm lagging way behind for one reason or another. Missed the bonkers jaunts!Will have to put Shropshire on the map and visit sometime.
That area of Wales is stunning as is most of Wales but then I'm biased! Can't wait to go to Pistyll Rhaeadr for a jolly..it is a stunning drive and waterfall. re toilet in the car, I have my desperado bin... it's a small bucket with a lid...tight fitting. I then put two compost friendly bags in it with some cat litter at the bottom. Number 2 fastened up tightly then binned ASAP in a convenient dog poo bin. No unpleasant odour! I have only ever had to resort to this once in mny years of van/car camping fortunately. Had to go and Spitify Toots and the Maytals after you mentioned them... love a bit of Ska/ Reggae. had a few trips since this one buddy, lol brilliant with the poo buckets its not a bad call to be fair i could possibly store it in the roof rack and now im typing it it makes perfect sense .... love the old skool reggae man some of the best vibe music out there, brings back great memories of dayz gone by 😄

Loved it when you said the long mynd is that way and it was actually behind you and the yellow stuff is gorse in flower and it's pronounced sty per stones the devil's chair

The campsite the DofE use is at Rattlinghope. Living in the Shire we have that view everyday. Spent many a night in the van up on the mynd. Keep up the good vids and being on Wales doorstep is fab.

Just a quick one, the wind break (around the stove) is upside down. If you have it with the cut-outs at the bottom, it lets a breeze through and keeps it a little more steady than the other way up. But what a view to cook and eat a meal with! jealous much :) happy days.
Omd that made me chuckle. ‘Wild poo!’ It’s the only issue with car camping. I’ve prepped for 1 with the ‘she-wee’ but omd it’s got to be a trowel and a freezer bag of sawdust for the trek 🤣 it’s funny though I was out with my fur-baby Frank today in Leicestershire green fields and I thought of you when I stepped over the trail turnstile. It had the dog hatch (guillotine style) I had to pick him up and carry him over! He was having none of it and he’s a heavy boy 🤣

The yellow bush you thought was some type of bracken is called gorse.
We call it furze in central Ireland as well.
Someone mentioned I could make alcohol from it 😢
@@wanderingwhere Yes, gorse wine I believe but you need thick gloves , sugar etc etc.to ferment the flowers. That's a damn prickly bush, take the hand off you 😊. Too much work. Just buy a six pack, much easier..keep up the good work man. 👍

Maybe try Quorn chunks instead of chicken or pork ?? It’s made from mushroom protein but it tastes good and wouldn’t give you food poisoning if it was a bit off !!

Ha ha love it - one of my favourite roads at the end - Bwlch-y-groes :-) They used to test cars and bikes up there back in the day. I drove over in the snow once, not my smartest moment! If you ever venture further south from there into the Cambrian mountains, I can suggest a few places you might like. It's always a lot quieter than snowdonia. I'm hoping to head out in the car for a night this week 👍

@@wanderingwhere Me too! re Scotland! I'm not sure about the cooler as I'm not as adventurous with outdoor gastronomy! I'm more tins, packets or buy it as I need it, just a cool box and ice packs for day 1-2.
You can leave some rice in the pan, then get it when the rice is eaten on the plate. Saves the plate overflowing.
We have a big old Renault scenic and so tempted to kit it out and try a car camp.

Hello Adam. I did a walk last week following someone else's route. Found it in Country Walking magazine. The instructions weren't very clear, it was difficult to follow. I gave up with it when I got lost in a wood. I will stick with a map and make up my own routes. I don't have a fancy phone like your's. Old school paper maps suit me better. ilona
lost in the woods (ive not done that too many times) even with 'an app', wish i could read and use a proper os map to be fair im sure id find some great spots

cheers man, hmm eric, hard to say he's a bit of an unknown (like who follows the dutch league) but now hes had a couple of interviews and a guy he seems competent wether he's tactical master like the 'other 3' remains to be seen, it a massive leap from dutch to premier but alot of it depends how much backing he gets also, it sounds like theres alot of moving with staff and players so if he gets this sorted before the start of the season with a good preseason he has a chance of top 4 but ... the main issue really is the midfield m8 until we get a decent couple of players in there weve no chance, its man u we need a couple of hardnut mouthy sods in the middle running the show its why pogba was always rubbish, he needed to be the one shouting but he needed someone shouting at him, didnt have it

no worries buddy none all m8, i remember ur comment from the last vid, im kinda trying to push the boundaries to see what works, i need better thumbnails aswell to go with the titles but .... because i normally have to include the car makes it difficult any feedback would be cool m8 honestly, been watching a few youtube tip vids, i should have had a few seconds at the start of the video to explain the title and thumbnail like a shot of what i say also,
