- The land of Englands WILDCAMPING the one and only DARTMOOR only problem is were not wild camping tonight were car camping and they dont take friendly to that sort of thing in these parts, lets see if we can find a parkup for the night and not get a ticket

Another great adventure. A quick tip for you about that packet of rice, don’t open the packet and just stick it in a pan of water so it’s basically boil in the bag. There’s no messing around trying to strain it so it’s easier to clean as well. I’ve even been known to use the hot water for a drink or washing up.

Have to say it,don't put water in the microwave rice just heat it up in pan,and life changing for me spray bottle with 1/4 white vinegar and rest water for cleaning pots and pans plates cutlery, it works great saving water, good stuff keep on doing your stuff,

@@wanderingwhere I Live 20 minutes from the Brecon Beacons.. I Used to wild camp... Just need to sort myself out and get out and live with nature again.. Its in my back garden...

epic again mate, i do love these long vids, the majority of youtubers do like 20 mins ish and they just not long enough imho, most viewers do prefer at least 30 mins, so your doing the right thing with these long vids 👍

Mate, that was a cooking masterclass. Who needs Ainsley Harriet and Pink Floyd? Great use of the scissors and kitchen roll, and epic battering with the pans for a perfect texture, and then to see Sid James pop out instead of Monkey. Oh my days. Regarding your light bulb moment, move up here to Derbyshire mate for the fresh air and the sheep will always keep you company, you know you know. Great to see you in Stealth mode round plod, that was a nice moneuvre. Your right to be wary of those cows although the horror stories usually come when dogs are off their leads and the owner steps in. Video had everything including a stealthy bit of Conan Doyle. Do you think Plod had a sighting of the hound? Can't wait for your next adventure.

Yet another fantastic video mate. I remember going there in 1990 with the army when I was in basic training, the wind was so bad that waterfalls were going up the way but loved every minute there, I rode a grey horse called Polo and I did canoeing, abseiling and loads more, you have been very lucky with the weather. I live just ten minutes away from where you are on Dartmoor.
My favourite time of year, is when the yellow gorse and the purple heather flower at the same time.
The colours clash but it looks like the moors have been painted by Van Gogh, beautiful xX

You can't sleep in a vehicle because Dartmoor is a National park, but you are allowed to wild camp in a tent, which you have carried.

Just watching u at cheddar gorge n u mentioned ye window covers when we 1st started we had similar covers n what we did was buy a cheap king size black sheet n some spray glue cut to size leaving abit of over lap around the sides spray n stick worked great :-)

Lol, you have been looking at Haytor rock, Hound tor is about 4 miles away from there. As for hound of the Baskerville's, that was set around Princeton and the marshes. You should visit Jay's grave, sad story, also the hair hand, you would not sleep for the night.
Mountain rescue do those exercises regularly. Especially in my area the Peak District. You can volunteer to be a an injured person needing to be found. They usually have rescue dogs with them .

Hi mate we have googled the site and they run ghost walks around there. We have screen shot the face and it seems to have dark eyes, try and screen shot it yourself. Also post it on all paranormal channels this could go viral.Meaning lots of views and good publicity for your great channel.

It was a legendary day, mate. Some nice big piles of granite there. I especially like the stream and overhanging trees. Something magical about places such as that. The guys in the jeeps might of been practicing searching techniques. Our grandson is in the SES (State Emergency Service) in NSW and they do exercises like that. See ya next time 🇦🇺🌷

Just a tip bud but you can heat the sauce and rice in their bags at the same time in a couple of inches of water in the saucepan for about 10-15 minutes. Much easier and no mess in the pan to wash up. The more you know you know. 👍😜

yes mate, was waiting for you to come down here! Dartmoor hasn't (for me atleast) got the big spectactor view you get from the brecon beacons and stuff but it seems endless and still discovering stuff now.
Not sure if you're familiar with dartmoor 365 but it's a oldish book from 1991 (before my time aha) with 365 sqaures (1sqaure mile each) where every single square contains an point of intrest and gives you some history, super fun to read up and search for the things as well.
Great for mountain biking as well if i may say so myself ;) loads of bridleways

I drove through Dartmoor only two days ago on my travels from North Devon to south Devon. It was extremely nice 👌

I wish I'd known you were down here, Dartmoor's my local stomp & camping ground.. I know some good overnight park ups, great walks and wild swim spots in the Dart River, even beaches you can wild camp on. It's English paradise hey.. so beautiful and, especially at this time of year, it smells gorgeous! Everyday I congratulate myself for moving here I tells ya😊 Lovely to see you enjoying it.

Ahhhh just watched your video , the car park at haytor is always a pain , there are signs all over the Moor saying no camping or overnight stays but there are nooks and crannies you can tuck yourself into , we have wild camped at Badgers Holt next to the river it's fantastic !! We take our two dogs onto dartmoor a couple of times a week, shame you didn't get to Yarners Wood l think you would have loved it there, well never mind there's always another time, one life, live it .... all the best from Devon xx

Having lived in the South West of France. I would say although there's some lovely areas it's too regimented with the vines sunflowers and corn . So may be Périgueux very green and rocky area very English looking in places and ancient cave dwelling areas .
