I used to give money to beggars on the street without asking them. Then I started to offer them work for good pay instead at my home. None accepted because it was easier to find another unthinking money giver.
Alex Tahti What does that have to do with this song, or WSP? In response, Alex, most of the people that you will find panhandling (in city where they live) have mental health issues. Even if they don't have a disorder most are not likely to trust anyone who offers to give them food, or work. The homeless are often attacked, robbed, poisoned, and sometimes murdered. If they are asking for money it's because they need it. If they are asking for food, or work then they really need it. Lots of them are on the street, and they have to be really careful to survive. People only see the beggar and assume. You don't hear about these things, because they aren't a part of society & if they say something, then who's going to believe them. Anyways keep paying it forward brotha.
Alex Coleman..Spot on. Wow. Great real description of how it really is for the homeless. Yes, most are struggling and wouldn't trust someone...at least for very long...I will randomly hand some money over whenever the feeling takes over to help.
