Enjoyed your video. Too bad you didn't visit us here in Milbridge during your cruise. Just discovered your channel and have subscribed. I'm a retired naval architect and marine engineer. I'm presently designing and building myself a new sailboat for single-handing (wife's a landlubber). Plans will be available free at a later date, and I'm posting progress updates on my RUclips channel and FB page. BTW- We frequently go over your way to Winter Harbor, visiting our friend (Wendilee Heath O'Brien) and her "Whopaints" art gallery. We also enjoy stopping by "The Pickled Wrinkle" in Birch Harbor. I hope you continue to post more "Downeast" sailing videos of our area. I'm going to share your video on my RUclips channel and Facebook. I think more people need to see it! Thank you!
Thanks for your kind words! We unfortunately won't be doing any more sailing videos since we sold our boat and have graduated on to kayak camping/cruising! You may have seen our video from our 8 day trip in Muscongus Bay last season. Next week we are leaving for a 1 to 2 week (depending on weather) Kayak island camping trip in the Stonington area. I'll check out your channel!
@@richardnwilson Sorry to learn you sold your sailboat (I think that;s a crime in some countries). I wish you the best and hope you enjoy your kayak adventures. I once designed and built a small, lightweight kayak on Cape Cod. I called it "Periwinkle" and my wife absolutely loved paddling it off of Sagamore Beach.
Great being along with you on this wonderful voyage!
Glad you enjoyed it!
lovely !
That looks like a fun adventure. So much to see on the Bold Coast! Subscribed
