- This is the maiden flight of the Hangar 9 P-46 D THUNDERBOLT with the Saito FG-40B engine installed. Augden was kinda enough to help me with the radio throttle curve for a better feel. He also did the maiden flight for me and got her trimmed out perfectly!! Thanks so much buddy!! Now it’s my turn to get her in the air. Soon I hope! I got Dibbs on the other P-47 in the box on the shelf after we finish the 14.👍🏻 That thing could go 30 minutes long at that speed. There was 7/8’s of a tank left after landing. Well built. CG was spot on. Set up was good. Perfect little shake down flight. Now it’s time to step up to the plate and pull the sticks. Easy Peasy. Wear two pairs of shorts just in case.😂 You won’t be riding home with me if a certain soil has dented the moment. I will call you an Uber.

@@JeffsCustomRC i had one in a modded vq bearcat. Was a total pain in the ass hahahaha. But sounded awesome. Got sick of messing with it after a season(and spending money) and put a eme70 twin in it. Was a rocket ship then.
