I’m 6’5” with a +2” ape index and love seeing such a high level climber with a similar build. Watching Kai makes me realize how important mobility training is at that size. Can’t wait to see the fully day of training!

Completely agree! Being tall myself (Robin), watching Kai takes away any of the excuses. He's mobile and strong, but uses his strength only when he needs to! Thanks for watching!

This gym has its soundtrack on point - please call my local and tell them hipster surf tunes arent for crushing.

Love finally seeing some of this series with Kai! As a heavier and longer than average climber myself (190 lb, 5’9” with a +7” ape), it’s inspiring to see what Kai is able to do with a big frame 🙂🥳

Haha, we thought you’d like these Bryce! Watch Kai climb and then channel him when you’re training. Kai sets the standard for “switching gears”

Great video! The drop knee toe hook that he does at 5:50 is something a lot of para climbers use as well. Very useful technique :)

Very true - assuming you are referring to the AL2 category? Yes, this was the first time I saw it in the past, but not many climbers that are not para-athletes use it. Shows how efficient it is! Thanks for sharing!

This gym doesn’t turn down the music! Every time we’ve filmed here it has happened. Thanks for the heads-up though.

@@robinoleary1592 I know there are some filters that may help removing the background music during editing. Maybe it is worth a try

Yeah, there’s a noise reduction filter, which we used. But if you double-use it, the audio sounds like you’re underwater 😂 ah well
