Rory, this whole set is fire. You should watch all of it. They had been in the crowd listening to the other bands, and came straight up from the pit, covered in mud, and put on an amazing show.
Crazy that the man in this video just did the score for a Disney movie, right?
Oh OK, maybe it was Green Day that was getting mud thrown at them on stage that I am remembering?
This show's energy is great but the sound quality is awful. They had all kinds of equipment problems because of the rain. And All That Could Have Been is NIN's best live show.
@@nathanpapp432that’s a matter of preference my friend, I loveeeeeeeeee NIN and anything Trent touches but I think he was arguably at his best live performance wise either during the muscle bound with teeth cycle or during the tension 2013 tour shockingly at 48 I think that was when he was peak Trent
If I remember right the crowd was throwing mud at the stage, so they just went with it. 😂 Iconic NIN performance. Do check out the official video, less chaotic than this live version, and visually stunning.
*Rory.* Are you ok? Sorry, had to do it. 😄 Trent Reznor wrote and performed most of the instrumentals on the album himself. And it was recorded in the house where the Manson murders happened. Certainly designed to shock. Their notorious track, to be sure.
