I was a 16 year old exchange student in Utah when I first heard the Mormon Tabernacle sing. My host parents brought me to Temple Square one December evening to see the lights. Because the choir was practicing, we sat down to watch them at the Tabernacle. We were in front. It was the first time I’ve seen a choir that big. When they started singing, I was awash with emotions. I didn’t know what came over me, but I started crying while listening to them. I was "called" to sing this hymn (Verses 2 and 4) at my infant son's graveside funeral service a long time ago, in 1983. My parents were coverts, and so am I. Without the personal and direct Hand in our lives, I would not be able to text now. I would not be alive. The Lord IS real. I testify in the Name of Jesus Christ that He IS real, and His Priesthood is on the Earth. The Book of Mormon IS doctrine, and if any fight against Truth will regret it. There ARE prophets on Earth, and they speak truth.
This has been an old favourite of mine. It was one of the first I heard when I joined the church. It is so nice to see such diversity in the choir. Our church is truly a world wide church.
As the Saints, under the leadership of Brigham Young, crossed the western prairie from Missouri, bound for points unknown, hampered by hardships and daily challenges, even deaths, as the evening shadows fell, they gathered around the campfires singing this song. This song gave them strength and inspiration to continue their long journey not knowing where they would end up, but with an unwavering faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, they knew it would be worth it.
My Heart is kindled towards our early Pioneers. Blessed be their souls for their sacrifice. We are Greatly blessed this day for their Faith. I thank My Father in Heaven for them. I pray that we are Faithfull in Doing their Saving work in our Temples.
Gail, we're sorry to hear about the difficult challenges you are facing. Continue to turn to our Savior Jesus Christ and you will find peace and hope. You can learn more about Jesus Christ here: comeuntochrist.org?cid=42001274
I can't put into words how inspiring this hymn is. For me it puts into perspective live's struggles as I remember the saints that crossed the plains. Such courage and amazing faith they had. And this choir is nothing short of angelic.
Absolutely glorious ❤️ 1. Come, come, ye Saints, no toil nor labor fear; But with joy wend your way. Though hard to you this journey may appear, Grace shall be as your day. 'Tis better far for us to strive Our useless cares from us to drive; Do this, and joy your hearts will swell- All is well! All is well! 2. Why should we mourn or think our lot is hard? 'Tis not so; all is right. Why should we think to earn a great reward If we now shun the fight? Gird up your loins; fresh courage take. Our God will never us forsake; And soon we'll have this tale to tell- All is well! All is well! 3. We'll find the place which God for us prepared, Far away in the West, Where none shall come to hurt or make afraid; There the Saints will be blessed. We'll make the air with music ring, Shout praises to our God and King; Above the rest these words we'll tell- All is well! All is well! 4. And should we die before our journey's through, Happy day! All is well! We then are free from toil and sorrow, too; With the just we shall dwell! But if our lives are spared again To see the Saints their rest obtain, Oh, how we'll make this chorus swell- All is well! All is well!
So proud to be Mormon, a church with the full gospel of Jesus Christ. My four kids grew up in this church, l wish l had the same opportunity to be born in this beautiful church. I have been a member for 15 years now👏
Very true ,The Fullness of His Everlasting Gosbel upon this Earth today and Forever ,as before,With Prophet , Apostles Seventies Evangelist n so forth.n it's fills our Heart with Joy n Peace Forever Eternally.
That last verse gets me every time! Tears to my eyes. Just imagine having to watch those you love die through your journey in an unknown place. Dying from persecution, disease/sickness etc. But also imagine the amount of people who lived or got through these heart aches because they put their trust in God to bring them to a land of peace. The verse says "if then we shall die before our journeys through, happy day!" I love that line because it shows how brave and fearless these early saints were regardless of our trials. This song doesn't apply just to them however. No we may not be in such terror as back then, but don't we experience loss of those we love? Persecution or betrayal from those we called friends? And much other personal trials that are equivalent to what the saints experienced? I just want to testify that "our God will never us forsake" and he loves us so much he is there to comfort us during the midst of any trial we may have. ❤❤
I knew the song from an early age when singing at the school. One night I heard the song been sang in my sleep. I woke up thinking that the radio is on or where it came from. to my surprise, it was on the open air from above as walk outside the house. I realized that I had visitors from somewhere I have never been from. The voices were so angelic and the background instruments were amazing. Then started calling my teachers from school and asking them about the song as I forgot the words. One of the teachers came to my rescue and gave me the name of the song. I then realized that I was alone in my journey and my redeemer is watching and protect me from all bad intentions. I thank you Lord. I love this song and as my life unfolds some people came and sang it for me from nowhere. Glory be to God.
One month past by after my full time mission that year is 1988 when I was alone meditating and reading the bible, to fight my anxiety and depression, then suddenly I heard of choir of angels singing this song Come Come you Saints, they sang that song from heaven above and descended to me as Tabernacle choir. This is my testimony that I bore with you, angels were sorround us and watch over us. The lyrics of the song is very meaningful to me,,, why should we mourn or think our lot is hard , tis not so all is right
It's a blessing and a Privilege to be able to watch and listen to the tabernacle choir. It's so uplifting to my heart and soul. I have a regular routine to listen to the tabernacle choir in the morning when I wake and I say my prayers. And I also listen to general conference talks to start my day. And I listen to all the scriptures as well. What a great day to start your day of right. Even though I have my good days and bad days with my medical conditions. I'm so grateful for our loving heavenly father and for Jesus Christ the Lord. I love them both so much. Thank you Tabernacle choir for lifting me up each time I watch or listen . When I watch or listen to the tabernacle choir I feel like the angels from heaven are singing. Thank you so much . I also started a new evening routine doing the same thing. ❤❤❤❤❤ from Joseph

Yes indeed! He loved it so much, that I too fell in love with it when I was a child. Years later my mom bought the CD. It's an incredible song. Such a blessing.
Every line of "Come, Come, Ye Saints" reflects the feelings and the hope that brought the pioneers West. This song captures their drive to keep going, to a place which God prepared for them, where none shall come to hurt or make afraid. I love how optimistic they are; they accept that death along the trail may be part of the plan, and for many of them it was, but they kept going. It is really amazing what our pioneer ancestors did for future generations.
I love to sing the praise of Jesus Christ but I have COPD and when I hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir it lifts my soul from where Jesus reigns, Thank you and may you be richly blessed
Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, I praised you forevermore. Thou art faithful and deserve our adoration for eternity. Amen! Thank you to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for bringing to the world this glorious praises and adorations.
"We'll make the air with music ring; Shout praises to our God and King." These words strike with such amazing power. Music is undeniably part of our Heavenly Father's eternal plan. When I was a kid, back when Atari 2600 cartridges roamed the Earth, one of my Primary teachers tried to teach me this song. I though it was boring. It was only after I had struggled through a few of life's trials, myself, that I started to feel the power of "Come, Come Ye Saints."
Thanks for this touching song Mormons, you always reminding us that there's a place in which God for us prepared far away in the West, this make me strong every minute I listen to it.
My first youth conference was trek, and one nightly "family" sat around a fire giving devotionals and then we sang this hymn. The spirit was so strong in that moment
I like how this song is applicable to everyone today. With little imagination we can place ourselves in these verses and find encouragement each day of our lives.

I JUST CANNOT STOP LOVING THIS CHOIR. THANKS FOR BLESSING MY SOUL.
I feel relief of every burden and stress as I listen to the songs .. 😢😢lord I'm forever grateful 🙏🙏
I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and this song is beautiful !
I love the music. Religions are all around us. If we do not have a relationship with the living God we are doomed. Thank you Jesus. Greg
I'm in hospital at the moment and to be able to get this on my phone is wonderful. It's touched me.
Absolutely glorious ❤️
1. Come, come, ye Saints, no toil nor labor fear;
But with joy wend your way.
Though hard to you this journey may appear,
Grace shall be as your day.
'Tis better far for us to strive
Our useless cares from us to drive;
Do this, and joy your hearts will swell-
All is well! All is well!
2. Why should we mourn or think our lot is hard?
'Tis not so; all is right.
Why should we think to earn a great reward
If we now shun the fight?
Gird up your loins; fresh courage take.
Our God will never us forsake;
And soon we'll have this tale to tell-
All is well! All is well!
3. We'll find the place which God for us prepared,
Far away in the West,
Where none shall come to hurt or make afraid;
There the Saints will be blessed.
We'll make the air with music ring,
Shout praises to our God and King;
Above the rest these words we'll tell-
All is well! All is well!
4. And should we die before our journey's through,
Happy day! All is well!
We then are free from toil and sorrow, too;
With the just we shall dwell!
But if our lives are spared again
To see the Saints their rest obtain,
Oh, how we'll make this chorus swell-
All is well! All is well!
I love the song I am a child of God! Won't you please come and join us.
Thank you for the Text
ALL IS WELL! THANK YOU!
Thanks, the music is Awesome. Having the words I can participate. God bless you all as you share these encouraging words.
The church meant a lot to me.
I spent a lot of time in the temple.
Bless you all and please, stay safe.
God bless and keep you, Marcel. Lots of love from a 91 year old grandma.
The spirit this song makes me feel is uncomparable, going on my mission to colorado springs and ill keep this song in my heart!
Brilliant! Such a spirit i feel when we sing these songs. Happy Thanksgiving fellow saints.
Wow! Such a powerful song! 🥹
I was not alone
may the lord keep thee all the days of your life and also welcome you in his kingdom
The lyrics of the song is very meaningful to me,,, why should we mourn or think our lot is hard , tis not so all is right
Very greatful to be the member of this beautiful church ♥️

As a non believer, there's only one thing that makes me want to go back. The beautiful music.
"Come, come " the hymn sings...
We got introduced to this song here in South Africa by the late Cyril Bongani Mchunu, I am so glad that he got honoured by the church last year. MOVING INDEED!!!!!!
lovely.

It touches my soul in positive ways
The Spirit is wonderful! Praise God! Bless those who paved the way for the rest of us of the covenant.
This song helps me get through a lot of my days. I need it today. You can find your toils and sorrows fade in the spirit of its eternal message.
This is simply amazing, heart-soothening, and brings one closer to Christ..SDA Christian
This is a rally cry to God and his angels, to their work here on earth. Great blessings to the Tabernacle Choir 🙏 😇

This songs reminds me of person who took me to Mormons my dearest friend Shaun Okaka Nwasuri from Uganda.
I'm sobbing, this has got to be the number one song that keeps me going! We all need this right now
Can't think of a more comforting song for this time world stress.
All is well

My first youth conference was trek, and one nightly "family" sat around a fire giving devotionals and then we sang this hymn. The spirit was so strong in that moment
I just needed this hymn today. And I feel so fine
This right here is soooo Melodic it reaches somewhere Spiritually in a place I didn't even know it exist within me
This is My Favorite Hymn . Everytime i face temptation and trials i always sing this song.
I like how this song is applicable to everyone today. With little imagination we can place ourselves in these verses and find encouragement each day of our lives.
Sou Adventista do sétimo dia e nunca vi e ouvi algo parecido. É arrebatador! Celestial.
There is More in the store of his love. He will so much unto us only if we continue to believe in that which Jesus Christ brings unto us
This used to be My Grandfather Rev Canon Albert Edwin Mosea's fav hymn of all times, may His Beautiful Soul continue to rest in peace 🙏

I can hear the Angels singing with The Mormon Tabernacle Choir!
I'm so thankful for the Gospel. It guides me through life and makes this hymn absolutely speak to me in a way I never would have imagined just a year ago before this light came into my life.
This was posted shortly after I left the hospital. While I was there the YSA came and sang this to me ever sense then it's been my favorite song. Life is hard but our God will never us forsake ❤
It is very spiritual pure feeling of heart and soul as living with God which is the chanting mantra of humanbeing it is so sweet with depth of heart feeling to sweet love to God
This is one of my Mother's favourites!
I think, it was one of the first hymns, she ever heard when she walked into her first Sacrament meeting😊
Which also, was her fast and testimony, meeting!
And lm happy to say, she loved it.❤📖🎶🎼
These songs take my soul to the higher level, you might see me and think I'm your brother, but I'm on another level. God bless these angels that feed us with heaven melodies
My ever giving thanks to praise God in song, however, not Christians. God is with them.
These songs fill me with the spirit of christ.
My question is: How many times do they have to practice this song before they can get through it without sobbing? Beautiful!
Mark Dixon, Ive been able to go on trek a few times. And every time I play it on the organ. It always brings back memories. Sometimes I make it okay. Others I have a tear or two. Its one of the few hymns that will always tug on your heart strings.
It is truely remarkable
I wouldnt be able to keep it together, especially at the 4th verse😥
As a member of this choir, it is very hard sometimes!!
I sang in the choir for a time, and this is one of the most difficult. I can no longer make it through because of the emotions! Thanks for sharing
Regardless of the trials and tribulations all is well,.and soon will have this tale to tell all is well.
So beautiful and so moving! And such a powerful message! Truly divinely inspired.
Amen, blessing to all, Amen.
the first verse alone is a motto to all striving to serve The Father.
