- This method doesn't work anymore. it worked for about 2 days after the patch, then dried up.
[Original description]
Heard that there are multiple ships hauling Low temperature diamonds in 7 Pi-1 Orionis, so I hastily reconfigured my chieftain from my dedicated miner into a plundering machine. Wasn't disappointed. Interdicted 2 Type 9's with over 175 each, and a Krait Mk2 with about 80.
What system states are you hunting in to find diamonds? All my go to systems are F'ed since the update..
It used to be industrial, non-refinery systems, but the game has been patched since then and LTD spawns have been ruined in the systems this briefly worked in.
Copy that, i was using a couple different agricultural systems with industrial secondary economy (i didn't mean system state's earlier, ment system economy) but they are definitely no more since the update.
Can u still do this now ?
@@oliverjohnson8233 yeah, unless the last patch messed it up (ive been hunting goids for the last couple weeks), go to the system named Frog, start sub targeting ships in supercruise until you see mining lasers, snatch em, burn the sheild off and smoke their drives, then turn the limpits loose. Lol
FYI if your doing it in a wing the target ship WILL come back online after a few minutes, just stay locked on the drives and hit those with one more volley of pack hounds or a missle and then there out for good.
how do you avoid system security spawning in?
They spawn in regardless, but depending on the ships they use you can just outrun them by boosting in the same direction your target is drifting in.
You go to an Anarchy system where there are no authorities.
o7 CMDRS, today i fly during more than an hour in this systeme... and ... nothing :(
PVP piracy is dead as long as evry one play on PG, and now PVE piracy is dead too.
System states change over time. What works today may not necessarily work tomorrow.
Good vid mate whould just appreciate if you dont fast forward half of it
It took 3 minutes to even find a ship worth pulling, and almost 20 minutes to empty the target.
If I didn't speed the footage up, I would 100% have cut the useless footage out entirely. Nobody needs to waste their life watching grind gameplay. At least with sped up footage you get to see what I did in the meantime rather than a jumpcut between relevant parts.
