Clearwater 2000 Suzuki 140 Water Test

We outfitted this boat with a Suzuki DF140, PowerPole, TTop, Leaning Post, SIMRAD GO7, and waterproof stereo.

Looking to repower soon my 17.5 Edgewater is rated for 130max HP. The Zuki 115 and 140 weigh the same and Id rather have the extra HP. Is there anything stopping me from going 10hp over placarded max? Law? Insurance? Thanks.
