I think the idea is great, the wheels look bigger than the Stanley gear, so they seem ok... but the wheels should have a combo lock mechanism and the brackets should be made of metal not plastic. I think the air lock would actually be to release pressure on a hot day, rather than attempting underwater work! Regarding a comment about taking it up stairs... that's no different to not owning one! you'd do exactly the same as you do now.
is that the same one that comes with the Dewalt DCKTS290L2 ? because they also made a DCK290L2 set with a regular bag for the drills, the "TS" stands for tough system, so is that the same one or did they make a modified version of it to fit the drills inside of it and sell it as the DCKTS290L2?
I bought the set of 3 tool boxes and am very happy with them......... but I passed on the cart........ seemed like it was too wide to move around in most homes with the width at the wheels being 27" im going to buy a regular cart for half the price to transport boxes to and from the jobsite. I
how well do the side clips hold when this thing is full of tools and you pick it up from the handle? Thinking of doing the same thing as I was also quick to notice the width issue :)
if its air tight won't it float? Loaded with tools would you try to pull that cart up a set of nice wood stairs in an expensive home? A lock so that someone can run away with all your tools without them falling off. Wheels are the most important component and those don't look terrain friendly.. What a hassle to get your tools from that thing... Is it Patented?

If Milwaukee or Hilti or someone of that ilk, made this tool box, I'd probably trust in it more. DeWalt.... Hmmmm, i'm a bit sceptical it'd last on a real job, but as it's a unique item and it's pretty much what i'm looking for right now... I may take the £250 plunge

I think the air valve is designed for air pressure encountered when flying. You probably wouldn't want to open the valve if it was submerged.
😂😂😂
I have a set of these and they are brilliant.
Nice dry safe tools even though I live in England. Enough said. :)

I’m looking for a hard case for my DW611PK router. Hate those cheap bags they give out. Got any ideas that it will fit in thanks
My left ear enjoyed that ad.

Is the large one big enough to fit my dewalt 18v xr mitre saw?
Looking at the specs of the XL box, it doesn't look like the miter saw would fit. The box is 16-1/8" tall x 14-3/8" wide.
I believe DeWalt has the cart rated as being able to carry 260 pounds.

Back-Saver money well spent.

He did not give full details on the box. Sounds like he was rushing
