I have quite a few tstack boxes now. They were all bought as individual units as I didn't realise i was buying into a complete organisation system. Anyway, its now got to the point where I may as well buy the wheeled unit. Will probably go for the toughsystem 2.0 base unit and then just get the adaptor pads for the random tstack boxes. Good video.
Actually if you buy the rolling Tough System 2.0 box, it comes with an adapter to mount Tstak on top of them. But you can't put Tough System 2.0 onto Tstak boxes. I actually went with the Tstak/Versastack system recently after looking at all the options, mainly because of the 4-wheel trolley and drawer units you can get.
Something to consider with the Toughsystem is that you can get a wall-mount rack system, a van-mounting version, and a handcart that use the same mounting arms, all of which let you access a box on the bottom of the stack without removing the upper boxes. Another factor to keep in mind isn't just the one box, but the other components you can get for it. If you just need a toolbox or three and maybe an organizer, T-Stak is probably fine. Toughsystem has Drawer units (2 and 3 drawer), bags, bins, charging stations, coolers, radios, and complete socket sets pre-configured in those trays.
Thank you very much I was having exactly the same problem with the tray issue I wish DeWalt would sort this out and I'm glad you have found answered what I was looking for and you have solved the problem of what I've got to do
The TSTAK system is very similiar to the Craftsman Versastack system. you can intermingle boxes. the Dewalt has the same dolly wheeled assembly on the bottom box as the craftsman does. The craftsman box has been written up for the dolly plastic breaking where it joins the box. there are plastic fingers that hold a metal ring to the handle of the dolly. the fingers broke on the reviews i read rendering the dolly useless. this is the weak point of this bottom box system.
T stak is so much cheaper but it feels flimsy af i got the deepbox yellow top with compartments andbtray box and tools under. The yellow cap feels super flimsy maybe i should of gone with ts 2.0

why are they all black holes - you can see what you've got so much easier with the yellow insert
Thanks for the next time
Very confusing De Walt has two different systems without any apparent reason.
One probably preceeded the other.

should have read the title more carefully, thought it was going to talk about the whole system, not just the large box.
