You're right about the cost of replacing vs the effort of cleaning. Thank you for actually showing all the steps and leaving enough evidence for me to know which way the foam went when I duct taped it back onto the impact bar!
Thank you, sir for the excellent video!! I just did it and published on my RUclips!! Maybe I should put your link on my description... this video really helped!!!, Cheers 🍻🍻🍻!!
I am half way through this video and i like it so laid back , that bolt was easy oh its broken that's why ,if that was me it would be a case of I don't believe it that F***ing bolt is broken lol
I bought the $114 ones off amz + the $6 (3 yr) warranty. We have a ‘05 civic. How much should we expect for install? 😁 No way in heck can myself or fam do all this. Should we bring it to Goodyear or Honda service?
I didn't do the actual lamp removal on this video, but talked about it at the start - if you want to just swap a bulb, you should be able to do it without removing the assemblies. You may need to remove the battery though to gain access on that side.
Fortunately if you are just replacing a bulb you don't need to do all this, they are accessible with the headlight assemblies in the car. But replacing the assemblies, yep, bumper cover gotta come off...
This isn't something that normally gets replaced during the life of a vehicle unless it is in an accident. Considering what I've had to do to get to things that actually die, like starters, this was fairly simple. Just lots of plastic bits.
Thank you. Today was my day to change headlights... You were on spot.
Thanks for making this video. It took me about an hour to replace both headlights.
I'll be doing this very project in just a few days on my lx. This video was so calm and concise! Nice work and the lights made a huge difference!
How did it go?

Thanks for the detailed video
sir thank you for your interesting video, it took me easy to replace the head light of my 2004 civic. God bless you sir.
Thank you so helpful
Thank you so much. I plan to replace soon.
Lol thought I could do this quickly after work, like my Crown Vic I had years ago but turns out I'll need to take a whole afternoon.... Honda 🙄

Awesome, glad it helped!
I lost it when he said "put a train horn on it" I already have one on my '05 lmaooo
Very useful video, thank you for a big effort to make this video. many thanks.
Do these aftermarket headlights last long? In terms of not becoming foggy like the original ones.

excellent thank you
Is this the ‘ex’ coupe? Good video also
This one is a value package dx sedan. So I think the lights are different model numbers for coupe vs sedan so good to double check fitment.
@@VortexGarage Thank you!
Looks.like the guy from the hangover
Oddly this isn't the first time someone had told me that haha
Why is this the way it is. I just want to change a lightbulb lol

You will wake up the neighbours with a big trainhorn :-)
Anyone know if you ABSOLUTELY have to remove the bumper? Thanks.
I think no need to take out bumper you can do it without it
mine arent lining up
That’s a late 7th gen
All that just to replace a headlight 😮

This is some seriously poor engineering on Honda’s behalf wow
They must have been taking notes from Audi

@@scottpostle4379 I’ve now come across a few Honda’s with fogged up headlight buckets that needed replacement
way too slow presentation, wasting the viewer's time.
