I'd like to thank you for this video. This is exactly what happened to my car recently. It was parked next to the trash containers for 2 weeks. Local rats ate a part of vacuum tube in exactly SAME spot as on this VW! I was already imagining the costs of repairing of the turbo, but instead got rid of this problem for free. Thank you again!
Very nice and systematic, I liked how you didn’t go down the rabbit hole of all those other codes, since it looks like all the engine related ones disappeared once the turbo started to function again.
We’ve been struggling with this vehicle, after replacing the throttle body actuator. Car starts and runs fine, even in the cold weather. There’s no turbo boost. I’ve even cleaned the DPF. Glow plug symbol is flashing along with Check Engine light. It was running fine for awhile, and I’ve got clear exhaust flow. Cruise control quit working. Any suggestions?@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair
Thank you very much for your videos they are so informative and helpful But I have some question for you if you could answer me please ? 1- what is the generic side of scan on scanning tool? 2- have you ever fixed SCODA cars? 3- have you ever delete DPF completely and the ECU didn’t give you a fault ? 4- how can I get a details about every data PIDS on scan tool to know the purpose of them and when do I need to ??? Thanks
hi , i have the same problem on my mk7 from 2018, we did replace the actuator, rebuild the turbo, clean de dpf, and still have the same problem after 8 months.
Just only a damaged hose could caused so many problem codes stopping car from running properly. And the codes don’t even pinpoint where the damaged hose is. My car is having the same issue and so far my local garages haven’t any clue 😅
Puzzling that the soot load calculated has dropped dramatically while the pressure before the dpf pressure sensor is unchanged. Can anyone explain that?
Guys i have a Golf Variant 1.9 TDI year 2008. My problem is that throttle stops working as it should in the middle of driving, the car gets thrown in reserve programe..I have changed the EGR valve, MAP sensor, MAF sensor, camshaft position sensor and it still not fixed, the engine light is on all the time. I don't think there is a problem with the turbine because there's no weird, cracking sound coming from the turbine and this problem sometimes happens when i drive 90km/h and sometimes at 140km/h or in between so i think if it would be the turbine the car would not be able to sometimes drive 130,140 km/h and sometimes not. Does anybody have any advice? Someone had the same problem? Please help!
@alrifainidal Thanks! I believe the glow plug light flashing means there is low boost in the intake, I also noticed it on an Audi! so it might be an Audi and VW Thing!
I'm having the same issue, i checked all the vacuum pipes, all electrical wires, no binding of the turbo vanes. I suspect the donor turbo actuator i bought, anyone how to adjust it?

@CrOzLm Check your Turbo Actuator position sensor
@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_RepairWhere is this exactly located? Inside the actuator?
There may be a vaccum leak in the brake booster vaccum hose or in the brake booster itself and thats why the actuator cant work properly
