Just wanted to say thank you for all ur videos. Being a disabled deputy that only worked midnight shifts which I loved I’ve have stayed on that schedule. Along with my dreams of always wanting to learn to fly helicopters but that dream went out the door when my arm was severed. By the grace of god they where able to reattach it just minus the shoulder and use from shoulder area to elbow. But being up all night I enjoy myself and my dogs in my office watching ur videos sometimes over and over and I know ur videos aren’t cheap to make so at least wanted to say thank you to u,ur family and friends for taking the time out of ur family life and no sleep for making what I believe are some of if not the best RUclips videos out there cause there not just trucks or boats or planes there just about everything out there. So thank you god bless and be safe

My grandfather raised hereford cattle when I was growing up. He also had a car dealership/mechanics garage in a small town. Seeing you work with the cows brings back so many cherished memories from those days. Thank you for sharing this part of your life.
This reminds me of when my dad was alive and the ranch we had back in the good old days thanks for sharing and this is a thumbs up to you all another great day and hard work stay safe. From the two sisters with God's love ❤ 💘 amen
30...some odd years ago my buddy and I would have came out with our horses and rounded them up for'ya. We learned that even with one horse it makes round ups soooo much easier. That being said it was fun and brought back memories watching you guys round up cattle.
Yes sir I been with dad before he pass away we cattlle on road l steal remember those days hop you ware those cows good and greased them martin from crystal city TX in only 62
Y’all are so cool and nice people! I’ve binged a bunch of videos since the ghost town living collab series. I feel like we all would love to hang out and be with the crew doing whatever project y’all are working on! Keep up the hard work!
Late to the game, but I wanted to point out that Diesel Dave is a total stud. Dude is a physical monster who is constantly putting his mass into real work. He has money, a beautiful family and happens to be a genuinely amicable person. Here's lifting a can to Diesel Dave and all the men like him. Thanks bro.
My goodness, I so love heavy equipment & all equipment but never expected to see you guys moving cattle! Awesome & loved it! I began watching your videos after the 1st was the couple who got lost in the RV on a mountain to nowhere. Unfortunately the man did not survive after their tow vehicle got stuck & they had no way of knowing the loaded RV was close. ☹️ Anyway have been watching these equipment videos since. Weird I’m old now AND female but always would rather have had a loader & dump truck than pearls & diamonds! 🤣 keep doing these entertaining videos! Being a farmer over 35+ years, I never dreamed I’d see you all moving cattle! Thanks so much! 😊

ONE DAY I'm gonna win a Truck of yours and meet you guys. Love yall man you guys are the PERFECT example of good Americans. You, cleetus, sxs blog I couldn't live without y'alls videos!!!
A year late seeing this. Glad to know you take good care of your cattle. Hope you have a good manager running that operation. Only had 40 acres mostly pasture, so it was easier for us. Mom quickly cured Dad of the idea driving the cattle up to the barn. She had them trained to come when called. Just feed some sweet feed and they'll come every time.
Thanks for taking us on this epic adventure , our cattle drives were done on foot and horseback but our land was flat not like your beautiful land , I would have loved to have been able to do some cattle drives in an area such as yours. Be well ... keep smiling ... stay safe ...
Using the helicopter may not be the best way to move cattle but it does make it a whole lot easier to make sure that you have all of them and there is no stragglers. Its always amazing to see just how well you all work together no matter what you are doing. Great job and great video.
I was late in watching this because of working 16's almost everyday! Finally caught a break and I'm quarantined for 5 days.....so I'm catching up and catching up around the house. Was watching you guys count the cattle. You had a great drone shot. Should have paused the footage and counted them from the air. Seems far easier that way! Maybe in the future!
Awesome! We use to have 80 head of cattle on 10,000 Acres of reservation here new Mexico. I was a lot of work to round them up for the sale barn. I loved every minute of it and miss it so much. Thanks for the awesome video.
I would quit my job in a heartbeat to go down there and work that ranch single dad three kids but that’s always something I wanted to do I am now 40 but that is what I did in my early 20s I worked a ranch and worked on a dairy farm of over 350 cows I always tell the guy I’m working with now if I could go back to ranching I would do it in a heartbeat looks like fun love the videos keep up the good work and thank you all
When you grow up your hole live with cows you learn a few things. The land yall have makes a few challanges we have never had. Dad would always get them feed bucket broken. If he wanted them up just drive out and honk the horn a few times and they would fallow us right to the lot.
Oh thanks for making the vlog about the cattle! I loved it so much. You men sure did more work than the cows did. What an awesome way to take care of your cattle!
You guys are so lucky to be able to go on all of your adventures!!! I've never seen anybody that could make such hard work look fun!!! Thank you for taking me along through your great vids! Love to all 😘
I love it when you take us up in the helicopter... Everything looks so different from up there, and escapism is what RUclips during CoVid is all about. There must have been some pretty cataclysmic events in eons past to create those land formations! Utah is so beautiful : ) Thank you HeavyD! XX
Thank You HeavyDSparks for showing us in details your cattle drive. I was excited to see that and It reminded me as a kid with my uncles in Arkansas, seeing Im from Los Angeles. The 4wheeler looked more fun the horses. You and your team are awesome. GOD bless you and your endeavor.
Most important tip for owning cows, ALWAYS give them a little food when you call them!! That way when you call, they come running 95% of the time!! I can’t stand chasing cows!!
Love love love the content guys always doing something different showing off how versatile you guys are and proving you dont only have to do one thing in life you can be good or even great at many things keep up the great work cant wait for the next video to come out. Much love and respect to all of you guys and your families.
These are the videos I like watching like the recoveries and just going out and using equipment and vehicles for things they probably shouldn’t be used for but it’s fun anyway lol. You guys make guys like me when you have vision and work hard you can do things you never thought you would. Keep it up guys love watching!!
Helicopter roundups are common in the north of Australia where cattle properties are vast. Helis are mostly used as spotters, but also can move cattle out of difficult terrain. 450 acres is a nice little cattle farm. Big boys have 450 square miles.
I really enjoyed the very beginning of this video where Heavy D is talking, and Diesel Dave is in the background being funny. It reminds me of when I was younger, and hung out with High School friends as adults. Always a great time, and I wished that we had todays modern technology back then to record, and store all the fun times we had back then.
Dude you rock! I work in IT but spend all my free time @ outdoors at the river or just a pond in a field sometimes. excellent video man. Your living the dream , keep it up
This was so cool! You do so many different things and seem very blessed with the fruits of your hard work. Love the content and God bless you and yours.
🚁It brought back memories of moving a couple hundred head on a ranch in South Dakota in 1968 where I worked that summer. I was lucky and had a Honda trike to use. Couldn't ask for more fun at work. Love your vlog/blog/show. The telling of being poor and always wanting a pool made me feel good that you are succeeding in your life. Keep up doing it right.🚁🏴☠️
Dave : I noticed you have angus cattle, I like them too. The reason I’m hollower out is there is a place out the road from me, Willow Oak Ranch, has the the best you can get in Angus breeds. They sell bulls that are guaranteed to have a certain temperament. You can work around gentle as can be, but they get their job too. Check them out on line. I think they even have online auctions.
Man that GMC is gorgeous! Also I couldn't help but think how interesting it would be to work for you. Your guys do so much and I'm sure they all have very interesting stories to tell.
@@marvindebot3264 The largest ranch in the US is King Ranch, at 825,000 acres. The largest Station (our term for a ranch) is 5.85 Million acres or about 7 times the size of King Ranch. Tht is why they use helicopters for mustering.
Heavy d you and your crew are ......AWESOME......I binge-watch all your videos and,I want to compliment each and every one of you, you all have awesome manners and I also want to compliment you Heavy d ,you sure know your way around those big engines,I drove professionally for 32 yrs and I never would let nobody work on my truck but me, keep the videos coming,,you guys rock...
It's so cool that you guys are always doing all these different things and showing us viewers how beautiful Utah is, and it is really great that you are showing the younger generation to give back to your community and help others as well as hard work and humility. You guys are truly inspiring
You guys are awesome. Diesel Dave, amazing intro brother. I wish I could take more leave at work to come lend a hand with any of the crazy projects you guys got going.
@@arieharrewyn Even for my engine swap I needed a tune to get it to run right...EVEN THOUGH It is just the newer version of my original engine AND I retained ALL emissions equipment....Even though cats are ungodly expensive right now.
Oh my never know what you are going to be doing, love that about you guys. Also a big thank you for caring about the cattle this old farm gal thinks you go above and beyond. 😀😀❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦
Just wanted to thank you for your safty with the group of guys on the helicopter 🚁.. l've been out of commission since I was involved with a heli-ops accident, l appreciate you running the caddle with care. Beautiful place UTAH... l'm in the up country area of Hawaii Aloha my friend..
I've been a cattle farmer for almost 40 years. Those are some healthy looking cattle and that drive didn't look stressful at all for the cows, great work fellas.
When you guys finish mucking around on your House Block, come out and see how it's done on 30,000 acres here in Australia!! On one of our smaller Stations !!!
Is 30,000 even large enough to call a station? That's more like a medium to large farm. And yes, this is how we do it in Aus. ruclips.net/video/IOyIobOJf0A/видео.html
Always fun, definitely cost effective!!! Jealous of the land. Living my dream for my kids to be the first one in the family to acquire land up there and pass it down when I expire :)
Almost a million subscribers, now you are at 3.34 million. I hope to see you guys continue to grow over these next couple of years. I loved watching you herd those cattle. One day I would love to do what you guys are doing.
You asked what we think about you and your channel , this channel is just awesome , I enjoy watching everything you guy's do on this channel because the content is just off the hook and that's what matters , the content is outstanding and I thank you for the outstanding content you bring us because that's what will make this channel grow , good content !!!! Well done .
Another top blog pal, and a great way to cattle, it takes the mundane aspect out of it 😁👍💯 Absolutely love your channel and the way you lot vlog and gel together
Here in Australia mustering is done on a lot of cattle stations/ranches by helicopter as it is the most cost efficient method of mustering the stations in the center of the country.
im a old farm boy worked with cattle most my life and if you want to know a easy way to drive your herd get a 5 gal bucket of grain walk out into the metal making noise with the bucket and call them dump the grain into a feeder for a month before the first drive . then on the day of the drive take the the bucket out get have someone hold on the 4 wheeler and call them in and the cattle will follow that 4wheeler like little puppys
HD: Creek gets overgrown, lose water rights. Every ditch digger ever: If you clear away the vegetation and camber the sides maybe it wouldn't get overgrown so fast
Great video as all of your videos are. Enjoyed the Cattle Drive, I can see how the fun factor goes up when you bring in the Helicopter. Keep the videos coming, thanks.
If you did that here in Wisconsin you get nailed for "disrupting natural waterways" and since your using a backhoe for " Mining without a permit" Think im moving to Utah!!
most of our politicians in baltimore been on or are still on parole or probation , if it wasnt for that Maryland would slam your azz to the wall also probably some BS rain water tax
I come from a 150 acre farm on the Canadian border in maine.we made maple syrup, had 10 of organic gardens a yr.anf sold most out of a family farm stand.my family got sick and we lost everything.i would love to win something but I never have.I just want to say thank you because of all u do.reminds me of my home and family I've lost.thank you
Couldn't help but relate you herding cattle frustration to.... God in the Old Testament, then Jesus as he tried so desperately to teach to Israel....your comment was, " The silly thing is, I'm trying to help them, take them to greener pastures, water, shade.... ?" Imagine the frustration our maker has with us. Keep up the good work brother!
I've watched every episode on RUclips possible. love watching you guys. really could use a truck because I had to sell mine to pay for my wife's grandfather, her grandmother , her dad's funeral and my mom's funeral all within 4 months apart but anyways love the RUclips channel and the show you have on TV. keep safe and always have fun
Wouldn't you like to make your ranch a documented model of how ranching should be done? Get in touch with the Savory Institute, I can be of help. (this is not profit driven but rather a deep care for the land and the American culture which is so depended on the land being healthy)
You certainly could use a couple cattle dogs. My uncle had a 1500 acre property in Lompoc and he and my brothers were the cowboys with horses and dogs. Incredible what two dogs can do with 1600 cattle. They are amazing
One thing. Most ranchers do not use helicopters up in tree country because cattle love to stand under the trees when it is hot. Not all cattle will spook at the sound of a chopper aproaching them. One, they may be use to them and two it may just be two plain hot to bother. Truth us as you said. Cattle are unpredictable. Love you angus by the way. They are some healthy looking animals. Fat with shiny coats. Thank you so much for showing this.
Big thanks to Keeps for supporting the channel! Here’s the site if you want to check them out! > keeps.com/HeavyD

They have been using choppers to muster livestock in Australia for years
Especially on the larger properties up north. Some properties here in Australia are the size of a country
Did he even muster any cattle with a chopper?
Probably the only way to do it in Australia
@@riskis1793 When you have a property whose size is measured in thousands of square kilometers yes it is.
@@marvindebot3264 The largest ranch in the US is King Ranch, at 825,000 acres. The largest Station (our term for a ranch) is 5.85 Million acres or about 7 times the size of King Ranch. Tht is why they use helicopters for mustering.
Diesel Dave is a whole vibe 🤣 pissing myself with that opening
DON'T FORGET TO TELL EVERY LIVING PERSON WHO IS INTO MODIFIED VEHICLES OF ANY KIND TO SIGN THE RPM ACT!
What is that?
@@calebwalser3710 long story short the EPA is trying to ban mods on all cars. Rpm act stops them
@@arieharrewyn Even for my engine swap I needed a tune to get it to run right...EVEN THOUGH It is just the newer version of my original engine AND I retained ALL emissions equipment....Even though cats are ungodly expensive right now.
Sounds like Australia. What great times we are living in
You can thank Trump for the EPA cracking down on this
Oh my never know what you are going to be doing, love that about you guys. Also a big thank you for caring about the cattle this old farm gal thinks you go above and beyond. 😀😀❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦
I too am 🇨🇦, and grew up on a dairy farm. Love watching these guys do their thing, improve the environment, etc .
Dont think they realise this is how we do it in aus
i work on a 500 000 acres and watching these people bearly maintain like 1000 is just painfull. also there mustering is just cancer to watch
Is 30,000 even large enough to call a station? That's more like a medium to large farm.
And yes, this is how we do it in Aus.

I would totally pay for even half an acre just to say I own property in Australia someone email me an invoice spiral bank @ gmail. Com
I want them to go to one of the big stations I NT or WA
Always fun, definitely cost effective!!! Jealous of the land. Living my dream for my kids to be the first one in the family to acquire land up there and pass it down when I expire :)
looks like an awful expensive way to get a "STEAK"....love tha show
Almost a million subscribers, now you are at 3.34 million.
Well done .
Used to move the cattle with trucks, 3 wheelers, and horses in Kansas back in the 80's.
It takes a great team to do that! Good job
Are you married
Another top blog pal, and a great way to cattle, it takes the mundane aspect out of it 😁👍💯 Absolutely love your channel and the way you lot vlog and gel together
Sick drone shots! No matter what the video is about I never have to question whether or not I’ll be entertained, love the vlogs!
Here in Australia mustering is done on a lot of cattle stations/ranches by helicopter as it is the most cost efficient method of mustering the stations in the center of the country.
HeavyD, don't feel bad if you go bald. My late Dad used to say: "Hair does not grow on brains" LOL
Bald is sexy!!!!
@Carlos Llanes Thanks for the reply. Is your son ok now? God bless.
Dave & Heavy D always make me smile and laugh somehow within the first 1-3 minutes every video 😂🖖🏻
Diesel Dave - "Hey I need a hammer, you got one?" Heavy D - "I'll bring the excavator."
I love how you guys ALWAYS find a way to have fun while you're working !
I really enjoyed this, Thank you so much. I am a retired senior with alot of time on my hands. Super !!!!
In this episode, Heavy D rolls up like John Dutton.
Who?

Lmao diesel dave in the background at the beginning
With the flag? I liked that too!😃
I've been watching these guys since they started I think that's the cleanest diesel daves ever been!?🤣
im a old farm boy worked with cattle most my life and if you want to know a easy way to drive your herd get a 5 gal bucket of grain walk out into the metal making noise with the bucket and call them dump the grain into a feeder for a month before the first drive . then on the day of the drive take the the bucket out get have someone hold on the 4 wheeler and call them in and the cattle will follow that 4wheeler like little puppys
An outstanding GMC TRUCK !! Makes an old man's heart really pump it up!! BEAUTIFUL..
Diesel Dave in the background had me dying hahahahhahaha 😂
HD: Creek gets overgrown, lose water rights.
Every ditch digger ever: If you clear away the vegetation and camber the sides maybe it wouldn't get overgrown so fast
“LIVING IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!” 😂
Great video as all of your videos are. Enjoyed the Cattle Drive, I can see how the fun factor goes up when you bring in the Helicopter. Keep the videos coming, thanks.
Need more videos like this. Love the Aviation and Iron Cowboy videos!
Last time I was this early Heavy D bought a stock F150 and didn't modify it at all....
If you did that here in Wisconsin you get nailed for "disrupting natural waterways" and since your using a backhoe for " Mining without a permit" Think im moving to Utah!!
I'm not from Wisconsin but I'm pretty sure that canal maintenance falls under different rules.
most of our politicians in baltimore been on or are still on parole or probation , if it wasnt for that Maryland would slam your azz to the wall also probably some BS rain water tax
They were using an excavator not backhoe
Can I come do chores with y'all? Like for reals. Mowing my lawn is getting old haha
I come from a 150 acre farm on the Canadian border in maine.we made maple syrup, had 10 of organic gardens a yr.anf sold most out of a family farm stand.my family got sick and we lost everything.i would love to win something but I never have.I just want to say thank you because of all u do.reminds me of my home and family I've lost.thank you
Some crazy stuff there. I love the diesel Dave small shots when he does goofy stuff. Charlie the crab! Awesome
You guys have way to much fun! Love watching!
Heavy D needs more horsepower. Actual horse power, makes it easier to push cows.
Drones could be awesome! You can snap shot for head count and heck maybe even use to corral cattle. Worth looking into!
I never win anything, but had to enter as I would really love to own this truck!
@Mike DeJong
Hello
How are you doing hun
Wouldn't you like to make your ranch a documented model of how ranching should be done? Get in touch with the Savory Institute, I can be of help. (this is not profit driven but rather a deep care for the land and the American culture which is so depended on the land being healthy)
You should do a giveaway for whoever has watched the most minutes of your videos, if thats possible to find out.
