- Cort are a company that carry a lot more weight in the guitar industry than you might realise, aside from their own catalogue of electric, acoustic and bass guitars they are the go to guys for high quality production of lower priced guitars in Asia. Building guitars for G&L, Ibanez, Squier and even Avalon, their instruments have passed through the hands of countless players.
We've recently started stocking Cort acoustics and they really do punch above their modest price tag!

A few days ago I bought the Cort Earth 100 ssf sb and it looks great, sounds great and is so comfortable to play. It also came with a case included. Thank you Cort for providing excellent guitars at fair prices!!!!
Here in the USA...such a great competition Cort is not seen or sold in many music stores or big box chains!
Cort is so slept on in the U.S...
@@punkgrl325 Don't fooled by its price. Cort actually cheaper cuz they don't do more for adversiting. I reccomend to you just try to compare cort vs taylor. You will know the reason why you don't need to purchase more just for a brand.
Taylor’s suck.
They'd be there wearing ibanez and other names I think. Widely available in Australia, weak sound unplugged but good through an amp. I like cort
They are available at Guitar Center now
I have owned a Cort Earth 70 12 string for around 18 years or so. It has held up well. I played for a couple of hours on it just tonight actually. It is one of my favorite guitars. It plays really well and stacks up nicely against some more expensive guitars I have. It was truly a solid purchase decision to buy it.
Just got a CORT Earth 70 series in the States. Love it. Great guitar, fair price. Thanks for the video!
Hey T-bone, the Cort Earth guitars are fantastic value for money, enjoy it! Thanks for checking out our video!
Cort grand regal( GA5F BW )natural satin is the best sound between other guitar.. his sound is compact and sounds great.. i do have one of this guitar 3 years before.. but already sell to my friend cause he have one band group for busking in street...in memory
I do like the sound of the Cort guitars. Even the cheap line, Earth series, has a nice clean sound without sounding tinny in both strumming and picking.
My choice would be the Cort Gold A8 as it has that silky tonelayer on top. Beautiful guitar and most
of the Cort guitars are very good for the money. It is sad that they are supposed to be not that good
for their employees. But what to do about that. They produce a lot of guitars for probably the most
surprising brands in the world.
Just Purchased my Cort Earth 100PF
Waiting for it to be delivered. Its just amazing for its price point
Love my cort. It's on a stand in my lounge , it gets played every day.
More so than my $1200 Ibanez which sits in its case.
Cort is the biggest guitar manufacturer in the world. Some of them are cheap and they go through the range to some high quality ones. One of my best guitars is a Cort Parkwood. It is expensive and a really great guitar .. one of my best!
I got my court ndx 20 inauguration nice guitar shop in riverdale Utah
My 2009 cort sfx 6r is solid rosewood back and sides, solid spruce top and plays better than many high end guitars I’ve played. Irreplaceable.
Great playing! I am looking at getting a Gold D6 next.
Here in Mexico they are quite sold but are shadowed by Takamine and they have gotten up a lot in price... And frankly for the buck they are a lot of guitar, i mean you could use the cheapest series from Cort as a professional instrument already, even more here in Mexico that we professional musicians can hardly afford an actual professional instrument...
It annoys me when the demonstrators try to show everyone how many difficult chords they can play, instead of doing some simple chords which is best to demonstrate the quality of the sound!
Exactly
Nice playing guitar video, what is the style you played with the Cort Earth 100 SSF?. Regards!!!
I have a Cort MR-100 F NS, awesome guitar
I have the Cort GA10F. With the body sensor and blend function the guitar sounds beautiful when plugged in, you dont get that bright, tinny metal sound that most undersaddle pickups have. The sound is very natural. Its my main guitar playing at church. Also have the Cort MR600F as a second guitar. I love my Cort guitars, affordable and good quality. Would love the Gold A6 though.
I have the same GA10F as you do! But I found the action height at 12th fret is quite high, I've tried straightening the neck (with slight relief) and bought an additional saddle and sanding it down, it ends up loosing alot of tone and volume. I changed back to the default saddle and stick with it for now. Can I know what's your action height? Mine is sitting approx. 3mm low E at 12th fret, thanks!
I would love the Gold A6 too.. but it's out of my budget sadly
@@thomaschin3841 Mine is at 2.5mm. I set it up using a string guage. For me that's okay, I am comfortable with that action.
@@rudolfprinsloo3299 Nice... I've tried 2.5mm action too it's very comfrotable to play. Can I know what do u mean by settinng up using string gauge? Do you shave your saddle to lower the action?
@@thomaschin3841 A string gauge or string action gauge is a device to measure the height from the top of the fret to the bottom of the string. It looks like a small ruler. They are usually made of stainless steel. Its a nice device to setup your guitar more acurately. I did shave of a little bit of the saddle, but not more than 1mm.
@@rudolfprinsloo3299 oh okay! I just bought one string action ruler too, do you realize cort's bridge design appears to be scooped and if you lower the saddle the strings coming up from the bridge pins will hv sorta "double" break angle?
Great way to play if you want to impress your mates at a party. But how about doing a demo of the guitars? Play some open chords to hear the sustain, fairly simple chord progression and a bit of finger picking and play the same on each of the guitars. You know - like a demo…
In case anyone is interested I have a Gold A6 and really enjoy it. Value for money is amazing.
I got Cort LC100 NS. I bump the headstock and got dent a bit. I want to apply some thin top coat to hide the dent. Do you know what specific topcoat Cort uses on their satin finish guitar?
Excellent guitars.
Very nice playing!
Awesome review ~! Please tell me what strings do you have on the Cort Gold A8 ? Thanks
Last I got a concert sized guitar from the Luce Series (L100C). It looks very basic, but It has very god sound and a great feel.
Price?
@@fathiazmis5023 Sorry I don't remember the exact price. I think it was about 1200-1300 Danish Kroner including VAT, så that would be 160-175 Euro or 180-200 US Dollars.
Very nice! Have you ever played a Cort AS-M5?
Where is cort ndx20 and Cort lf500 f and lf500c ?
Which one is the best for fingerstyle

What about the Cort ndx50?
Just ordered mine. Can't wait for it to come in
I was thinking of buying cort earth 50.. how is the neck profile on that is it thin like ibanez
the neck it's superb thin and very playable like a Taylor but less expansive
Your opinion about the Cort MR730FX?
Do you sold cort ndx's series?
Which is better? The earth 100MD NAT or the MR500e?
the MR are the high end of cort. myself i have a MR600 and i love it
What's your opinion about the cort sfx me guitar?
Cort earth 100ssf has solid top only right ? Laminate back and sides?
Yes
Cort earth 80 please
Hey you're playing porcupine tree arriving somewhere but not here slightly wrong my friend.
Manufactured in Asia somewhere..where exactly? Anyone know?
Indonesia mostly
In my country Indonesia, The largest guitar factory in the whole world.
And Korea. Our family have three - a cutaway nylon six string, a full body steel six string, and a full body steel twelve string, all with pickups. all are very good tone and sound. Most expensive was less than $600.
To get equivalent sound quality in australian, usa or japanese brands, we would have to pay north of $1200.
For context, we also have solid body usa made fender and gibson.
I have there Earth 300ss limited edition all solid wood and it is my go to guitar I will not part with it,can you tell me what the fretboard radius is please as iv no way of measuring it.
Just count how many frets you have on the fret board
Caution! Don't buy guitars like Corts, Seagull, Maton, Godin, Fender or Gibson's etc in Malaysia. There's a lot of fakes sold even in their authorize store
Alip ba ta guitar
cort grand regal !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF !!!!
Beware when buying guitar from South East Asia especially Malaysia. There's a lot of fake fender, Gibson, Godin, Prs
I bought a fake Taylor 814 guitar from China. It is a great guitar and it was cheap! The sound it produces is outstanding!

Anyone played the cort ad890
?
Me,but i sold it cause I changing to electric guitar
どれも変わらない音だわ
Great left had playing, but you're strumming a lot too hard friend.
ups, none of them sounds good...sorry, nothing like taylor even cheap models or martin
This sounds more like a rationalization for your dropping heavy money on a big brand guitar than an objective review of the content of the video.
@@mw13068 Sorry, what i mean is that they actually sound very good for the price..but my ears can tell the difference between a original Gibson J-45 and cort´s copy, which actually sounds very good but the low E string doesnt have the same punch and short sustain like the original J-45. Same thing with Taylor´s copy, the cort version has too many high end freq. If you are looking for a cheap quality guitar, cort is the best option for shure.
@@jimmessina wouldn't that then be a matter of personal preference? things like short sustain and high end frequencies might well be objectively measured but the preference is subjective at best.
I would even say that your preference for short sustain on the Gibson (if it actually exist) probably puts you on the minority as most people prefer a longer sustain. Objectively speaking, you can stop a string vibrating if sustain is not desired, but you sure as hell can't force a string that wouldn't vibrate to sustain. So don't longer sustain give you more option?
And what do you mean by "too many high end frequencies"? Too much sympathetic vibration?
