Cort mini (traveller) was the guitar that got me back into guitars after a 20 yr hiatus. It was a no frills unit but it got me hooked back into playing, so fond memories of Cort.

I have had the Pau Ferro version for 6 months now, couldn't be more pleased, fantastic tone and playability. For people that like to pay a premium for a big name on the headstock or, even more stupidly, care about which country it was produced, go ahead and waste your money.

☑️ got the gold a6 I'm with you all the way on all aspects of your informative review 👍 a6 is insanely value packed loved the torrified top 😊 chose mine from a fresh offering of a6 and oc6 via peach UK ; went for the a6 based solely on its gorgeous flame mahogany back wood , discovered afterward the a6 had the wider neck than the oc6 much to my fingerstyle play delight , normally I would go for an OM over an auditorium model body but glad I chose the auditorium ❗️😊

Although the bridges on these are a great design with the step down ensuring good break angle. They have a buzz making flaw. The string break angle from the saddle to the pin entry point is interrupted by the step down itself. Particulary on the bottom and high E because of the way it curves. . It you look at them sideways you can see two break angles or just touching depending on the original set up of the saddle. Lowering the saddle makes it worse. I solved this problem on my A8 by sanding little rounded slots so the break angle is clear from top of the saddle to the entry of the pin slot. I sanded them evenly on all six strings so it looks like they were meant to be there,,, Of which they were meant to be there! Great guitar though.

It's a tough one, but probably Taylor 912CE and then either my Cole Clark Angel 2 or Orangewood Hudson

@@GuitarZero2Hero thanks for that tossing up between Cole Clark’s and Maton at the moment. Do you play any Maton’s at the moment? Loved your reviews of the Cole Clark’s, and love that they are both Melbourne made...👌

No I don’t own any Maton’s but they’re great guitars too, best thing to do would be head to your local guitar store any try as many of the two out as possible. You’ll find a winner for you sure enough :)

@@dannydemarte6949 I just went through a similar decision making process. Both CC & Maton were at the top of my list with a number of other brands in the frame.
I didn't want a dreadnought sized guitar, was looking more at the 'auditorium' size or similar depending on the terminology/sizing numbering of other brands.
I ended up with a CC AN1BBEC. They do sound a bit different to let's say a Maton EB808.
Both are great...just different. I'd say CC are generally warmer sounding...the neck is just such a pleasure to play.
Of course there's cost differential, so the Maton aligns better with CCAN2 series.
The one thing that stands out in all CC guitars are the neck join. I was particularly sold on the 'fact/belief' that its design is way less likely to be affected by weather (warpage etc) or so I was told a few times.
If you've not already made your purchase, I hope I've been of some help.
      Cheers 😃
