She is just brilliant a natural quitar musician the way her fingers move so easily over the strings she’s a delight to watch and listen a very clever young woman i wished i could have played at that age some people like me just wasnt meant to play a guitar ( but i was a good painter and drewvsome lovely plctures and painted some interesting pictures
The acoustic sound of the spruce version is surprisingly good ... like a guitar as you say. Usually, this kind of guitars are rather toys. Do you need a smartphone or specific type of laptop to use this? One can also notice that, thanks to your classical training, playing popular music sounds particularly nice.
Thank you! Yeah I was also surprised about the good acoustic sound of the Spruce guitar :) You don't a laptop, but it's good to have wifi so you can make the updates and have access to all it has to offer :)
I love your playing Julia and I've followed you for a few years now. To be honest, I think that you could make any guitar sound good. The Lava sounds great in your capable hands but maybe not so good in the hands of someone less capable. Lots of interesting features on the guitar but the sound-hole looks odd until you get used to it. Thanks for your review.

I’ve read the Lava Me 4 comes with a lot of problems, requiring a lot of customer service dependency. Has this been your experience? I also read it doesn’t work without an internet connection and requires the player to “log into” the guitar with a username and password… is this true? If so, is it possible to get the functionality from the guitar without giving up personal information and passwords?
Because the pickups pickup the raw sound at one place on the instrument, or of only the strings (depending on the type of the pickup), not the sound after it is affected by the acoustics of the body of the instrument and the chamber.

Looks good but the warranty stuff is too hard.....they want a way out of everything. That says somebody is going to get screwed and it will not be Lava. All those elctronics are problems waiting to happen...they need to give a lifetime warranty...Also I will not buy from a place that does not give their address!

Some of the Lava guitar have no LED screens, just 4 knobs, and you don't need an internet connection to log in with those.
