    Come and see what I've got to say about it, spoiler alert, it's bloody marvellous.

    Great tutorial, you really helped me out here. Me and my Dad were searching for a tutorial and lucky you were there for the rescue! Definitely deserve more recognition and keep up the work!

    Very usefel video, thanks. I just got one from Officeworks, and the current ones have 2 differences: 1. the base that the castors attach to is now made of metal. 2. the allen key they give you is the standard one long one short edge type which makes assembly a tiny bit more irritating. For anyone wondering about the height adjustment, I'm 173cm and my feet can't rest flat on the ground at it's lowest setting, so if you are short like me you'll need a foot rest as well. The most diffucult part of assembly was getting the side plastic covers on.

      Thanks for the update! The metal base sounds interesting. Agree with you about the plastic covers, bit of a bugger.

    My current chair has fallen to bits. Alcantara is 279 bucks at officeworks , sold out at jbhifi. Good price . PC stores selling similar chairs for 500plus. Too much.

      I actually picked up a second one at that price from Officeworks myself :) Needed a chair for the new workshop and it was a no-brainer really!

    Do you need to take the washers off the long bolts to slide them behind the arm when attaching the back to the base?
    Im trying to put my son's together while hea at school but am stuck on this bit!!!

      It's not necessary to remove them but it is fiddly, I find swearing at it can help. But seriously, there are times it feels like it doesn't line up (as with every chair I've used). I hope you've managed to get it sorted in the time between your question and this reply!

    would you still recommend?

      @techdoctortvaus  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yep, totally. I've only had to make slight adjustments once to it and it's been brilliant. Quality has held up too and I use it every day. Still looks brand new, I think I'll have this chair for years to come.
      If you're contemplating getting one, all I can tell you is dooooo it.

      @@techdoctortvaus cheers also does it work well in the heat? the suede seems like it would trap the heat in

      @@OnAeeir no complaints from me and the weather gets stupid hot here.
      To be honest I much prefer the suede over the usual pleather, the suede feels cooler and you don't stick to it.
