I have now put 10 hours on the clock of this 2024 Seadoo FishPro trophy.
The ultimate fishing JetSki, here’s my first thoughts of the ski, the good, the bad and what kind of fisherman I think this machine would suit.

Hey mate, currently have a Quintrex 390 outback tinny but always like the look of the seadoo jetskis. What are the main pros and cons you have noticed between the JetSki and the Timmy’s u have owned. What would u recommend out of the two.
Hey mate 👋 thanks heaps for watching!! They both certainly have there pros and cons. Few pros for the ski in my opinion would be - far more comfortable to ride then a little tin boat, the shape of the ski hull gives them a really soft ride feel, you can get to your location a hell of a lot faster on a ski meaning you can cover more ground and fish areas out of reach for the average tinny. Ski comes standard with many features a tinny won’t, touch screen sounder, sound system, deck wash, live bait tank, trolling mode and many more. Heaps of pros for the ski, pros for the tinny would be, some times less is more basic tinny set up is all you need sometimes, tinny can be used at night, skis your not meant too, and far easier to pull cray pots from a tin then a ski if that’s your thing haha. Heaps to weigh up but a ski truly is a lot of fun 🚀🚀🎣👍🏻

Cheers mate yes definitely got some beautiful fish from the ski 🙌🐟 got to remember that’s 10 hours run time not 10 hours fishing time.. ( on anchor the ski is obviously switched off haha ) either way still a damn good effort ✅🎣😅 hahaha that’s crazy about the kayak that’s huge my last “big” boat was only 4.6m 😂😂
at least in Florida, US, you can't operate a PWC 30 before sunrise or after sunset. I think brp doesn't put nav lights on there so as to not encourage night operation in any way. let the user put them on if its legal to ride at night where the owner operates.
Hey mate 👋 yes it makes sense you also can’t use them here after dark, but I think from a safety point of veiw for “just in case” you somehow get stuck out there after dark it would be great to have some lighting haha but I fully understand why they don’t have the lighting, either way epic bit of kit and I love fishing from this one, thanks heaps for watching 👍🏻🎣✅

I've never owned a boat because I get sea sickness. Would it be the same on a jetski
Hey mate 👋 sorry to hear about the sea sickness, so greatful I haven’t been hit with that, to be honest I’m not sure weather or not you would get seasick on one they are a very different feel to a boat on the water, best bet would be get out for a test ride on one if you are interested & see how the old seasickness goes 🤞🏻🎣✅ thanks for watching mate

Do you ever feel worried being on a smaller vehicle then your typical boat
Hey mate 👋 Not at all ( in the right conditions ) iv only ever owned small tinnys and a little boat, even though the ski is on the smaller side it actually feels bigger then it is on the water, anchoring in bigger swell on it makes me feel nervous but other then that it’s the little boat that can, far more comfortable then the little tinnys iv owned haha 👍🏻🎣😎 believe it or not iv taken the JetSki a lot further then I ever have a boat haha 🤷🏼♂️ I do feel safe on it.
