This is outstanding. I've been thinking about getting into knife making for a while, but videos like this reeeaally make me want to do it. Your attention to detail and craftmanship are incredible, and this is as much a piece of art as it is a tool. Bravo sir.
I have owned a few Bowie knives in my time, but this one is one of the very best I have seen. I could watch your videos all night long (and I have watched all your videos) one very special blade. Respect from Sheffield ;-)
I may have missed it in one of your other videos, but what kind of grit progression do you typically use when sanding, both on the blade and the handles?
Hardening and tempering. The heating up and rapid cooling makes it hard but brittle (a bit like glass). The tempering afterwards reduces the hardness slightly but makes it less brittle so it is less likely to break.
Yoo dude that's super clean and awsome knife, love it! Plz do the predator knife or a Rambo 1 or 2 style knife but with full tang! Du you sell knife's too?
if you want to make it blue, use electricity! the waterjet channel did a colab with a dude that i forgot his name( thats why i saying them instead if him) who took a knife they made and turned it gold using electricity. he could have also turned it blue, you should watch it if you plan on ever making knives different colours. ill come back with the video link for you!
Absolutely beautiful quality of finish. Seen a lot of knife videos but rarely seen such excellent grips. I find the style of blade way over the top, impractical and ugly but made with a skill which has taken a long time to develop. To be commercially successful you may do better with a more mainstream design of blade. Still can't fault the quality of manufacture.
You tubers! Take note! This is how you shoot a video! Sweet, to the point and no talking!

Dear friend, perfect knife. Just I say, BRAVA... Can you say knife size?

👌👌👌🙂 Nice work man,
you are a hard working person
Good luck for ur future knives🗡️⚔️
Thank you! 🙏
What a beautiful knife! Great work!!!
Thanks!😄
I may have missed it in one of your other videos, but what kind of grit progression do you typically use when sanding, both on the blade and the handles?
What is achieved by putting it in the fire and then the oven?
I believe it's to make the steel harder and more stable? It reduces breaking.
