You are right on point. I watch other stylist and they just chop chop and their hair looks healthy you save hair and show us how to maintain Thank u for good infro
You can have a good body and amazing hair. (relaxed or natural) Not sure where that belief came from, but it's certainly not true. Exercise contributes to directly to health, which can be seen in your hair. The gym frequenters she mentions either lack the knowledge to take care of their hair or it just was not a priority.
Thank you, I was looking for a comment like this. I love running and currently training for a marathon, so have to run 4 times a week. It sounds like those ppl don't know how to take care of their hair in general. Exercising doesn't stop you having good hair, it just impacts the type of styles you can have.
I agree..i am natural and i have very curly hair!! And i have healthy hair. I work out 5 times a week. I take care of my hair so maybe those people do not know how to take care of it.
I'm natural and you can work out weekly and have healthy hair. If you don't swim, it should be super easy. I swim about 1-3 times a week. I either use a swim cap or use apple-cider-vinegar as a clarifier to get rid of chlorine and chemicals.
Yea. I think she is meaning women at the gym who still want to keep their natural hair straight. Because you will need to put a lot of heat to keep it smooth and straight. Us curly girls can go to the gym everyday and still keep it healthy. But- heat wnd humidity had my twist outs looking exact wild.
I LITERALLY just had this same conversation my stylist today and she told me the exact and thing. I never even considered a relaxer because I've been natural about 10 years. And everything like you said about density etc was going through my mind but I'm tired of natural for the exact reason of working out! and just have been wanting a change. Ugh decision decisions. Thanks for making this video!!
@@deemarie7351 I was told you can't put your hair in ponytails and buns and stuff because they will break your hair with a keratin treatment. And i live to pull my hair up/back and out the way. What's been your experience?
you can! the keratin strengths your hair. idk why she told you. I don't have any perms or texaterizers. I've been getting the keratin treatments for about two years
@deemarie7351 Yeah, I wonder why she'd said that. Everyone i know that does keratin treatments hair has grown out and is healthy looking, though I never see it pulled in a bun or ponytail. I'm not sure if there's a correlation, I'm going to delve further into this.. I'm still roughing it with my natural hair as is, braids pull my hair out and I sweat too much for tracks and wigs or tape.. if I could manage it easier in natural state like with a keratin that would be best. Thanks for the tip!
I really have to congratulate you 👌 your work is perfect and excelent 💯I wish someone like you in my country 😢 my hair is hard to work, plus is real thick and too much.
I stopped getting relaxers back in 2009 because where I worked at the time my hair would sweat out regardless, so I was like there wasn't a need to get them anymore. For the past 4 years I've been wearing cornrows under wigs because I didn't want anymore excuses why I couldn't workout. There is no more worrying about if your hair looks a mess after working out. I put that wig in a ponytail and go on about my workout/day Plus all the sweat irritates my scalp so I have to wash my hair once a week but the cornrows make hair wash day soooo much easier.
Why don’t the salons treat dry flaky scalps? My scalp flakes up every time I go to the salon for a keratin treatment, silk press, or blowout, but not when I do my hair at home. I see the flakes from this client’s scalp, and all the stylist does is scratch her scalp a bit and blow away the flakes. I feel like a lot of salons don’t really care about treating or taking care of the scalp, only styling the hair. If I go to a professional, it’s because I need help and wants someone who “knows” best and will do a better job than me. Yes, my hair always looks amazing, but my scalp gets white and itchy so quick within a day or 2 upon leaving the salon.
I workout 5-6 days a week and I think is why my relaxed hair is always breaking. I never co-wash. Is the anything else I need to do to help with the breakage?
When I was working out regularly I would use dry shampoo a couple times a week, and then have a spray bottle with water and like tea tree oil or something that kills bacteria that I spray on my scalp and massage in a couple days a week. I would wash my hair only once a week and if I really felt like it was gross or like in the summer when I sweat a lot I would cowash mid week
I've been relaxed for years now. I do a protein based deep conditioner the week after my relaxer, along with olaplex number 3. The protein based deep conditioner I use is affirm 5 in 1
Hi, what would your recommendations for a person who has been natural for 5yrs but also suffering with hair loss (alcopecia)? Can they relax parts Of hair and keep other part natural? Hair is falling out in front of head toward middle of head.
Don't think its a wise decision to relax your hair if you currently have alopecia, and partially relaxing it,never heard of that.I think keep up with a healing regime to restore the condition of your hair and stay clear of the relaxer which will add more stress to your fragile hair.
I read that Density is the number of strands per square inch while texture is the diameter of the strand itself.
You are correct
That’s correct.
You are an AMAZING Stylist, your client's hair is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Thanks for the tutorial.. BEAUTIFULLY DONE!! 💅💅💅❤
Beautiful, I love the way you care for your clients. They always leave feeling great.
You did such a great job. I watch your videos just to watch the transformations…just a grey-haired, Swedish gramma in Minnesota…
😁🥰
Where are you located in Florida
You really are quite amazing Crystal! You embody professionalism!
She’s delighted, I’m delighted, everybody is delighted! Crystal you rule!
Her hair is beautiful!!!
I just how you tell them honestly what should be done instead of giving them what they want knowing that isn’t the healthiest hair choice👏🏽👏🏽
I love the hairstyle; simply beautiful.
Thank you so much for sharing your professional skills and knowledge with others !🙏
So PRETTY!!🌻

I've been watching for 2 weeks. I like watching your videos.
i get a keratin treatment. its a cream but its not a hard chemical. i haven't had a perm in 13 years.

Another great tutorial class advice and style wish u was in my city, hi from hou,tx
Gorgeous! 💜
You actually CAN have a great body and great hair
Great job as per usual.
Does relaxed hair need extra conditioning?
Yes, moisture is key as relaxer dries out the hair. Deep condition with every wash is essential
she has nice thick hair 😍
Crystal her hair is very pretty. 👍
Okay Crystal with the behind the back move! 🏀 🏃♀️
Absolutely gorgeous!!😍😍😍😍😍
Ficou lindo. Parabéns

I’m having issues with growing my crown back, my crown won’t grown more then 2inches
Awesome ❤
I wish you were here in Australia or at least had a branch 😭
Magnificent
Where are you located? I would love to have you do my hair? I'm currently natural with salt and pepper hair, extremely dry regardless of what I use.
New subbie. Love channel so far
She has nice hair

They use a lot of products with urine (urea) and pig/pork/swine ingredients. Call company of product YOURSELF and ask if they use pork or urea.
Afri goddess discovered my curl pattern and girl I was amaze d that would have been a good one for her to see what the results were
Say that again"you will never catch me with a super relaxer" lol your so correct.
Good morning Crystal.
Hi Crystal, I've been natural since but now my hair is really shedding. How could I go back to a relaxed!
The base curls is the one thing I couldn't stand in cosmetology school especially using the rollers to set the curls..😖😏
Hello,, are you taking any new customer, what is your price for relaxed hair, my length is about 3 inches
You do a beauiful job to all the women hair. I need you do my hair.
Querida Amiga onde posso encontrar a Escova aqui no Brasil?
Beautifuo cut. Healthy
Arrasou. Aqui no Brasil, as passeatas de escola de samba iam adorar, desfilar no Carnal, como destaques. Salve Portela. Vem quando?
I've had my hair texturized about 4 months ago, is it safe to get a relaxer ? I work out up to 4 days a week also.
Ok her hair is beautiful but can a relaxer damage your hair even though it was put in correctly.
It depends on your daily weekly monthly maintenance
I have had it for for over 25 years, and my hair is still long and super healthy.
Braids, color, silk presses and wigs can damage your hair.
Also you can see she has broken hair in the front of her hair before she relaxed her hair.
Beautiful ❤️
Any tips or videos on wrapping? I seem to never get it done. I have more oval shaped face and head.
I workout 5-6 days a week and I think is why my relaxed hair is always breaking. I never co-wash. Is the anything else I need to do to help with the breakage?
Beautiful
bellaaa.
What's the difference between a Dominican curl and a pinwheel curl on natural hair
My hair is natural like hers and after my hair get trimmed I start worring does my hair grow back and the answer is yes so
That's right. Because you sweat in your head. There goes your hair!!
Beautiful 💯❤️
Beautiful 😍
I think the ends still look scraggly. The style hides it though.
Curlers and flat irons,it's all in the wrist"No lines"lol....I love me some marcels
Awesome
I work everyday… I was washing my hair daily. I that why it has broken off?
I workout 5 days a week and wash every 4 to 5 days and my hair is ok. Washing every day is a little too much.
LOVELY
wow her hair is long and you did it beautifully turned out gorgeous...she works out 4 times a week?, wow she must be super skinny!! good day
As I've said before your skills are PHENOMENAL! TSMFS
How soon after a relaxer must one do a protein treatment?
I've been relaxed for years now. I do a protein based deep conditioner the week after my relaxer, along with olaplex number 3. The protein based deep conditioner I use is affirm 5 in 1
Are the products/chemicals in a texturizer the same as a relaxer???
Beautyful💥💥
Relaxer damaged my beautiful hair and leave me with bald patch. Not saying all relaxers are bad. I used perhaps a fake one unfortunately.
What are those white specks I see
Where are you located please?
How can I keep my hair curly alot longer if I sweat in my head alot!!!!!
awesome 🤩 🤩👍👍
