The directions say to use it on freshly washed hair and to " ensure hair is wet while using this defining jelly"... You put it on dry hair. Perhaps that's why your results were not as expected.
I like super-defined wash and go’s too. I think your hair came out beautiful though! 😍 I bought it last week but haven’t used it yet bc I still have 2-month-old braids in. 🥴 I’m curious to see how it does on my 4c hair. My hair tends to like this type of holder. My hair loved the Shea Moisture soufflé. It def was sticky foreverrrrr and never seemed to dry but my hair looked very moisturized.
I am wondering why you don't like it! It looks wonderful and thick! Pretty voice, pretty lips...🌹 Maybe a new hairstyle! In my opinion, your hair is lovely!👍
I've noticed with type 4 hair, gels of that consistency or similar doesn't work on our hair, it's more for people with type 2-3 hair because they don't need a product with much hold for the hair to hold. The only products I know that has good hold and definition is the Taliah waajid curly curl cream ( like a gel and cream in one product) and their curl definer (same as well) from their green apple and aloe line. Some people say the consistency of those products are too thick, but if it's not that texture it's not going to work effectively as it should particularly on type 4 hair. Those products do not weigh the hair down and for that reason they can be used daily plus I'm low porosity too.
I think Camille Rose is so far the best for me. My hair is very hard and I had to really work it out with other products and I quite never saw the well defined curls. With Camille Rose, I just need a little bit and I have rely nice moisturised and curly hair until I decide to wash it out. I think the mistake some make is to use a lot of it. You just need a little of it
i use this product and i have used it on wet hair (sprayed) and freshly washed hair and i have noticed that it is sticky if it air dries. my first use i dried it using a diffuser and it kept a wet look without it actually being wet. i’m not sure on the smell though because to me mine smells like peaches lol
The bottle does say to "layer on top of Curl Love Moisture Milk" fir "beautifully defined and soft curls". Has anyone tried this way on the same type 4c hair?
Was I the only person in the world who brought this product as an extra moisturiser and not a curl defined 😅. I’ve seen reviews that if you pair this curl marker with gel I.e wet line It works well to define curls
Thank you for the honest review. I bought this product on Black Friday and I hated it honestly. I thought it was just me, but I felt like it just sat on my hair. I’m gonna try it on a twist out or braid out to try and use it up.
I realized I'm super low porosity , my hair doesn't get 100% saturated even when I soak my hair for a long time in the shower , maybe that's why my hair feels dry , any tips ?
Temperature is a big factor for low porosity so maybe try different temperatures and see if that makes a difference? Preferably warmer temperatures. Also, if my hair has oils or thick products in it, it’s harder for the water to get through to my hair which is why I wasn’t it once a week. Some ppl can go longer but eh🤷🏽♀️ if your hair isn’t absorbing water then that definitely could be a factor for why it’s dry.
@@haileychanelle I do use heat though 😭 It like the moisture from the water just won't get in , and I feel like my hair is long enough to start doing the " shake method" but the water and product isn't weighing if down cause its not penetrating in the first place
Paballo Jr. Hmmm this is quite the dilemma... but product build up could be the issue. Also, this is random but “hard” water can make it hard for your hair to absorb water.🤔 When in doubt, google! 🤗 This sounds to be your situation, maybe? www.naturallycurly.com/curlreading/curls/what-to-do-when-your-hair-repels-water. @@haileychanelleWe've got a filter I think , I'm not sure , I'll check. Thanks for all the help !! Your hair looks really good , may you please do an updated wash and go or a twist out (not flat twist) for the next video , thank you !
Wetlime extreme is so bad now sis the flaking is annoying. But I didn't buy it Just to let it go to waste. Don't use it often. Most of these products are for type 3 hair camille rose is a store Brand and with store brands I don't spend alot of money due too me not believing the hype 😅 and I be right . Way to expensive for a bottle and deep conditoner that would only last me 3/4 washes
Even though your curls are not super defined it still looks really good.
Thank you! 🤗
But you put it on dry hair???

Agreed! Many of these products just don’t work for type 4 Hair. I so badly want to try those products! Definitely going on the product junky list lol
I agree they need to make specifically for type 4 hair
What do you use for low porosity type 4 hair? (Shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, cowash, leave in and style gel/cream)

It really does. And after using it, I don't think I can appreciate the earlier products that I have used

Lol you’re not the only one! That’s exactly how I felt. Lemme know how it turns out please! 😂
The curls came out nice though…
I love your shower curtain! 😍
louder audio next time please love!
franny pie. Sorry!!! Thanks for letting me know! 🤗
Y’all gotta stop putting these botanical gels on dry hair and expecting a miracle….
Plastic gels don’t need water (wet line, eco etc.)
Killing it 🔥🔥🔥 #queen
