Through Microcenter deals I managed to score this board for $179.99 and at that price point it is a good deal I'd say. I see many people saying they had issues updating the BIOS. I personally had no issues updating, I had to anyway because on stock BIOS it wasn't letting me overclock my RAM to its 5600Mhz speeds it offered. After the BIOS update it overclocked through EXPO perfectly fine, and I have also applied PBO settings to my 7700x and my computer is running rock solid. One weird thing to point out is Gigabyte came out with a new BIOS update late December if I am not mistaking. It was the F3h, I updated to that and it pretty much broke the PC and gave me all kinds of issues as well as not letting me OC my ram anymore or do any CPU tweaks. Luckily reverting back is as easy as updating the BIOS. Come to find out Gigabyte actually took down the F3h update from December and it isn't there anymore. Sucks they couldn't verify its stability before hand and all, I wonder if anyone else had that issue or if their boards actually bricked because of that update.

Damn that sounds really cool. Got a space ship plugged into to the USB ports 😂
I bought this and I've been building my own PC's for 20+ years....
THIS is the worst motherboard I have EVER purchased in my entire life. The GPU PCI release clip immediately broke off when I tried to remove my GPU. It's made of super cheap plastic and is the worst constructed clip I've ever worked with.
The board would not post. The CPU did not sit properly even using the correct slot insert and bend the board pins.
THEN when I was removing the SDD after removing the odd cover for it, the BIOS battery just...fell off??
What a hunk of junk!
I got this board just for the 3 analogue audio out ports for my ancient dtt2200 speakers. Had to sacrifice wifi with the non AX variant as it was on special A$120 off, stingy c$nt I am hehe. Looking forward to be able to play newer games over my previous i7 3770 gtx 670 rig.
The best suggestion ever....
I was waiting for your advice and you live over above the mark..
Nice motherboard
Love ya 😘😍 💕 love❤️
Msi tomahawk b650
Got one in the mail already.
Update how is it now
great review seems like a good board
This board can't handle full throttle of the 7950x, it draws max 205W, it drops all on both CCD's clocks for about 15mhz, but its a great budget board as it offers most X670 things like USB C 20gbit and 10gbit on the I/O panel and WIFI6E which is great, but not future proof so to say as the power section is not that powerful
What do you mean it cannot handle full throttle? Is it like can't PBO?
Doesn't make any sense. Even gaming X with 8+2+1 can easily reach that. Are you sure nothing went wrong. Please give us more detail.
Would it work with a 7600x?
@@Shingleys Yes
Got one for $100 hopefully is good lol
That is not cheap at all. Cheaper than the X670 but not with so much. 300$ (or whatever it costs exactly) for a board is a joke...
That is pretty much what all budget motherboards nowadays cost.
@@avrona that doesn't make it cheap. That makes everything expensive 😀. Also it is just strange that there is like no real budget motherboard, without gaming stuff we don't really need.
There is cheaper.. ASRock B650 PG Lighting is going for $199 on New Egg. And of course, micro b650 boards are going for 169-189$ on Newegg. But I think the man is saying.. for "Budget" board that checks off all the features, this board is perfect. You can always go lower and lose some features friend.
$179 with $50 combo rebate at MicroCenter.
Amazon $ 229.99.
Thank you for the awesome recommendation. God bless. Jesus loves you!
Any Mobo over $150 is a waste...
Not if someone wants to overclock?
Not necessarily. Depends on all you want to do with your CPU and if you need more features. I think the sweet spot is around $200. If someone is just trying to game or get work done and doesn't know anything about messing with BIOS settings and all, then yes I'd get them a cheaper board for sure.
How much did they pay you to do this video
$0.00.
Your pretty😂 i thought your a lady coz my audio is mute

Seeing the thumbnail I thought you were a girl 😂
Thought you were a chick.
