Um, many shadows are micro plastic and talc free and customizable and refillable lol. Hello, single shadows ! Sydney Grace, Makeup Geek to name a couple. Single shadow pans and Z palettes have been here for a long time.
@@jslilimauve was excited to peruse some Sydney Grace eyeshadows based on your comment but the first eyeshadow I looked at (Lavender Hill) has nylon-12, which is considered a microplastic, in the ingredients.

I recently bought several of your lip liners because I wasn't sure which liners would pair well with which of your lipsticks. I think it would be great to have videos with your lipsticks paired with 2 or 3 different lip liners. One pairing where the colors match, one where it is a deeper version of the same color, and one where the lip liner is different than the lipstick color, but still works. This would help me loads to figure out which lip liners to order.
The shades, the quality, the packaging are impeccable. Did not expect anything less from one of the best artists of this generation. Can only imagine how much research goes into creation of these pieces
I have to say, I can't wait to see what Andreea Ali does with these beautiful palettes. Out of everybody I've seen using Lisa's products, I think she's come closest to the class and elegance with which Lisa herself would wear them.

@@sharrlizz For me Michele Wang seem to always do the exact same thing but with slightly different colors, so it lacks a bit of creativity, whereas Andreea Ali is a true artist. But that's just my personal opinion, both ladies are talented and classy in their own style!

Dear Lisa! I ordered the sorcery palette and Duchess true velvet this time and am so excited! As a suggestion maybe for a future video: Could you please make a tutorial using some of those bright jewel colours of the sorcery palette but quite softly as a day look? In paticular the emerald green and the sapphire blue shades.. That would be so great!
Absolutely, wanted her to use the gorgeous blue on her brown eyes. That’s the eye shadow pallet that interests me the most.

Lisa - thank you for giving us true cool toned options! I'm vampire pale and warm tones make me look sick so I usually have to buy singles because true cool toned palettes are few and far between.

I'm not vampire pale, but I'm light neutral more on the cool side. I also almost never buy whole palettes, they always have too many warms or neutral browns (or whites) wich I'm never excited about. And warm tones look horrible on me.

Especially these days there is very little to choose from. I use only Kiko as their cool toned are really cool toned. I'm having hard time imagining people are actually as warm toned as makeup people seem to currently think.

This was the year that I am finally in the position to treat myself to my first Lisa Eldridge lipsticks and and pencils. I have to say, that as a color-obsessed painter, I really appreciate the care you put into the undertones of each lip color. They are PERECT! I am also completely obsessed with this formula. May I just say how GENIUS "vintage mulberry" is? I've always thought a shade like this was missing from "romantic" themed pallets! Makes it SO versatile!

I cannot thank you enough for offering the option of buying individual shades that still corelate to a color story. I am one of those makeup wearers who has 10 "favorite" palettes, each with 2 or 3 shades completely gone while the rest go from ""enthusiastically to "minimally" used. Yes, I can (and do) buy singles, when available, and also depot and gather colors to create my own palettes, but I love the idea of curated collections that were conceived together to support, enhance, challenge, contrast, or temper each other. It's like buying a whole album instead of a single, watching an opera, not a couple arias, or rereading a beloved book cover to cover instead of the climatic chapters.

Leave it to Lisa to make the most incredibly gorgeous eyeshadow pallets. I feel like I’m in a candy shop, trying to choose how many pallets, if not all of them. I Want to throw out every new pallet I bought. Your skin, as always, looks beautiful. I would love to see an entire makeup video of how you do your makeup with the new pallets, and maybe lipsticks also. For example, your skin looked perfect without bronzer, just blush.
Mauve is my favourite colour and I also find the whole story of its invention charming and fascinating. There's a great book about it from Simon Garfield. For those who don't wanna read a whole book I think even the Wikipedia article is a fun read, short version being some rando 18 year old English chemist accidentally created my favourite colour in the 1850s while attempting to synthesise quinine for the treatment of malaria. I love that Lisa referenced this and drew inspiration from it, and Myth looks so beautiful, hope I am able to nab one tomorrow. The idea of getting to wear a shade named Mauve Decade just really tickles me, how fun!

That's so cool that you get contacted by shows like The Crown asking what lipsticks they need for their characters. Have you watched any of season 5 yet? I think Elizabeth Debicki's portrayal of Princess Diana is incredible, it's like she's come back to life! The eyeshadow and lipstick shades are so sumptuous and as always, I so appreciate learning about the history/inspiration behind them.
