Can we talk about how crispy this edit was? 😎👌👌Brand new spot we've never even heard of so thank you for sharing.😊 Nice to see you putting the drone to good use too. P.S - Bring back the mustache!! 😅 🧔
😂 I started to see how it would look and then bottled it and shaved before I had to go back to work. Thank you very much guys, I'm glad you enjoyed it, it was god fun to make and good to explore somewhere completely new (certainly going to try and do as much of this as possible this year). The drone has been. worthwhile bit of kit, although I haven't even come close to using all of the features it has. I need to go and spend a good afternoon learning them to get more of the potential from it 🚁
Thank you for watching (and for the instagram share 😊) It was a cool little find and nice to come across something like this that I had never heard of before so close to home.
It’s a very cool place and I arguably went at the worst time of the year for the trees. I will be returning throughout the year to see it change with the seasons 🌳
Love your knowledge of the areas you visit, the videos are always stunning but your narrative just makes them even better 🙌🏽 definitely somewhere on our must visit list now, thankyou!
Good video, it's good to find out where these places are so when I'm visiting the peak district I've got somewhere to go, thanks for sharing 👍 keep up the good work
Hi Paul and welcome to the channel. Thank you for watching and i'm glad you enjoyed. I also really appreciate you letting me know where you came across the videos, its good to know where id actually useful o share them to as wide of audience that I can. All the best 🙂
Fantastic video Harrison. There is some incredible history in the Peaks. I've walked around there loads of times, but never knew about this, so thanks for sharing. Have you been to Five Wells chambered tomb just north of Chelmorton? Another fascinating place
Glad you enjoyed it, it’s certainly a bit of an unknown gem. I haven’t heard of Five Wells, that will be one to add to my list for future exploring. Hope you are having a good weekend
Loving the Vlogs Thom!! Quick question if I may, looking on All Trails I can see where you left the road/lane but is there a signed public footpath where you crossed fields or do you need permission from the farm? Thanks.
Thank you for taking the time to watch 😊 I’m glad you enjoyed. At the point where I left the road on the AllTrails map, there is a footpath sign that points you straight across the fields. The footpath marked on the OS maps is also just a straight line and will lead you directly to the styles and entrance into the woods. I hope this helps.
@@ThomTopics Thank you, could be autumn before we get chance to visit but that might be a good time anyway, especially if there are lots of beech trees, they can't be beaten for autumn colour in the UK. 🙂
Now here's a fluke. I live in Buxton and tend to cycle in Summer, and do my walking in Winter. Only last week did I visit this place after planning a walk and seeing this on the OS map. Quite unusual in the fact you can't park near it, you have to put a bit of effort in to get to it, and there is only one path to access it. I never even knew about it, I just found it on the map by accident.
Thats a funny coincidence. For me the joy of finding somewhere new that I had never heard of was really exciting. I do love to have a scroll around on an OS map, hopefully I can find out about some more 'hidden' spots like this over the course of the year. Thanks for taking the time to watch, have a great week.

Very cool looking place.
👍 A real hidden gem of the Peak District
A good place to explore on a weekend 🌳
A good option if you only have a few hours spare too 👍
This is new to me, a lovely woodland. I really liked the drone footage. Nice on Thom.
Thank you, Im glad you enjoyed the video🙂 It's certainly a bit of a 'hidden gem'
Liking the new look Thom! 🧔
Looking forward to your forthcoming adventures as a source of inspiration for mine! 👍😉
Glad you enjoyed it 😊 I didn’t end up committing to the new look unfortunately 😂

Great video. I didn't know about that place. It would be lovely to see it go through the four seasons. Thanks for sharing. 💚🤎❤️🔥
