Bought sons of the forest at its historically low. Started playing a couple nights ago with 3 friends. It really does a great job of simulating a forest survival experience. It doesn't stray too far from the original. Definitely recommend if you liked the forest.
Just to let y'all know hard reset (5:06) is a great game I bought the redux version from GOG and bought the OG one (which is pretty much the same game but a bit harder and less mechanics) and both are great, definitely recommend, it's pretty short tho so I recommend playing it on hard to make it last a bit longer
i wanted to play it but the combat was just so eh. does it get any better because i might be able to play it anyway because the quests were pretty cool. i specifically remember the one where you have to follow the dead fetus baby
@@Tringledingle wow I actually consider the combat to be one of the best I have ever played. Only Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Zero Dawn are possibly better. I love Witcher 3's combat because every creature has a slightly different requirement to fight them. Some you need to dodge, some if you dodge they going to kill you so you have to use oils, some you need bombs to fight them, the alchemy is done really well also and you may need different potions for certain enemies. I thought the combat was very well thought out. And the two DLC are literally two more games, they are huge. You really get your money's worth.
@ I actually don’t like the combat in ghosts of Tsushima. It just seemed a bit plain. It looks nice and fluid but isn’t that complex. My favourite games combat is probably Sifu and devil may cry 3 and nioh which I think did the stance system better. But anyway the preparation and oils sounds cool in Witcher so I’ll try again. Should I start from 3 or 1
Noita is my favorite game I’ve put over 300 hours into it and I’ve still not done everything highly recommended if you like rogue likes and dungeon crawlers with complex combinations /mechanics
@@JohnnyJiuJitsuwhat’s your goal get to the end or explore the hole world I recommend watching a tutorial explaining what the game exactly is or just go whiled it’s a rogue like so be comfortable dying and starting over
I stand by what you said @ColdBeer, about My Time at Sandrock. I'm an older gamer who has been looking for a casual game with fun mechanics and relaxing gameplay. Sandrock has kept me busy for 60+ hours so far and there's still a lot I haven't explored. Love your videos, by the way. Entertaining and informative.
Yeah, it's the profession of main character, it's how he earns gold :) Also all the encounters are handcrafted and enwrapped with story, so they feel unique. You won't find simple "go there, kill monster and go back" kill-fetch quests. They are all more like "someone eats our kids near that well. Look master Witcher, a foot of poor Wzyzhek, we think it's a work of a werewolf". And you are like "oh, I smell something much worse" and go to investigate :D
@ColdBeer Excited to give it a go as soon as it's finished downloading. Thank you for the recommendation. I enjoy being able to ignore the story as you say lol
15:49 I got it on PS5, but I do not like this type of game. I have thought about it recently to maybe just complete it, but something about that movement, combat and story feels too slow and like I am wasting time. However, I will never get bored of potato salad.
I get you. There are several superpopular games that I can't play even if I want to like them. Instant eternal boredom and I can't do anything about it.
Ciri is always sleeping when I film :) And gaming room is in shambles because I have to repaint walls and all. We are slowly getting ready to sell the flat and move out. Come to discord, I can show you how it looks now lol
@@ColdBeer Ohh, congratulations for finding your new home 🙂 Hey I had tried following you on Discord but you link had expired so could not find you, can you please share the link again ? 👍
Valheim is the single biggest disappointment I have had in 35yrs of pc gaming, completely over rated. Omg, it is dull, empty, simplistic game that struggles to keep you interested for more than 7 hrs
@@piespies-z7p I believe at the end It all depends on personal taste and liking, for you they might surely be terrible but for someone else they might be the best games of all time.

Book of Demons is a lot of fun and very unique. I like the end game where the game decides half of the cards you must use.
Your story about Witcher 3 was great. That game is in the top 5 greatest game ever made. It is the best RPG ever made. It simply has no equal.

@@Tringledingle Witcher 3, one is very dated, 2 is ok but also very dated.
@ I don’t really mind dated games if it adds to the experience but if it doesn’t really matter I will skip it
Thanks for games that are actually different!

If you have teenage children like I do who live in the same house then good LAN co-op games would be a good set of games to have a look at.
Valheim is the co op game my friend and me always go back to. Highly recommend.
Been playing Valheim almost non-stop since stumbling upon it 2 years ago. It's basically what I wished Minecraft was only way better!
Titanfall are soo great and its usually cheaper than 5.99 and on sale all the time
Noita is a hidden gem i can't believe is not more popular. I easily have 500+ hours on it.

There is bigger chance of Elden Ring being on sale on random weekend than on the main sales of Steam. Weird but true

It has 94% of positive reviews. So that can only mean that the game is extremely good, but you somehow don't get why :) It's not the other way around.
