Maguro Brrothers.. 2 Japanese Nationals who came to Hawaii to start their dream of a business (one loves to surf while the other had been involved in the fishing industry for a long rime) and opened their first poke shop in Chinatown (still there). Their Waikiki branch is their second. One of the brothers goes to the daily fish auction to buy that day's supply. Ala Moana Beach has been a local favorite dor generations. The Plumeria flower tree,, aka the Graveyard flower as you also will see that commonly grown in the cemetaries. As a child in the 1960s, this was often used to make leis for the annual May Day programs in schools. Mahalo for sharing🤙!
