I have the biggest expectations for this synth out of all out there! PS. The sound of it is amazing and not aggressive to my ears! I can easily tame it down with many tools if needed
Nowadays it's hard to find a synthesizer, real or virtual, that is inspiring just from the first moments you put your hands on it and just for the first presets you play. Surely Osmose is the hardware one but this Plasmonic software synth is just wonderful. Very happy to have it.
Merci Brian !! I receive mine at the end of the month (ordered in November 2019😁 ). It will be just as interesting to use Plasmonic as the Haken engine 😉
Great demo of Plasmonic and Osmose. There’s no additional patches from the EaganMatrix and having looked at it I can understand why. Yours is complex but much more comprehensible. You should consider producing a patch bank for the Osmose. Macros all ready to go. It would help both Plasmonic and the Osmose. They might put it up on their website as an example of how good the Osmose is as a controller. Anyway great work.👍
@@rhizomaticsoftwaresynthesi6045 Yep, I'm most definitely interested in whatever your current projects in dev are - Rhizomatic has everyone's attention. I certainly can think of all sorts of directions you may take. Can't wait to see what's next.
Thanks for this inspirational video. I use a Roli Seaboard with plasmonic but I can't wait for the Osmose to show up at my doorstep. Need to wait until July... if all goes well 😀 Did you have to change any settings on the Osmose to get it to send MPE?
It worked with Plasmonic right away. The Osmose and Seaboard are very complimentary I find, they both have their own capabilities. It's amazing to see all these radical new controllers!
Thanks for the great video. Waiting here for the Osmose to come and try it together with Plasmonic. Btw, did you set Osmose in a specific way to get along with Plasmonic?
Sometimes one can watch a tutorial and feel like you've been force-fed with dull porridge for a dull fortnight. Then along comes one like this. All relevant. All interesting. And it seemed to last for a few seconds. Now, more than ever, I'm waiting for my Osmose to arrive. Plasmonic is ready for it 😁😃
Osmose takes some getting used to. Often pressing a key slides to the left or right when it is not needed. Nevertheless, it is a very inspirational device.
I find it way easier to play chords in tune than squishy controllers like the seaboard! But it certainly does require learning some new technique, and I'm very far from proficient yet...
how are you actually doing physical modeling with this synth? is it based on actual models of acoustic systems or is it more of a combfiltering or karplus stronh type of approach?
Hi, Any plans for second resonator (as chose option between Ladder and second resonator) and wavetable (*.wav format) import to oscillators? Maybe also Comb Filter in second slot?

Would love to see more Plasmonic sound design tutorials from Brian!
Thank you for the encouragement! There's more in production.

Thanks so much @LucaRossoDeVita!
Cool, great instrument. More tutorials would help me get deeper into Plazmonic...
There will be more, stay tuned!
Nice! I really love Plasmonic.
Merci Brian !!

What a long wait! It's a wonderful instrument, I'm sure you'll love it.
Sounds great! I haven’t used this particular combination yet, but I’ll give it a try this evening. 😁

Hi Brian how do you think, can we do something for native instruments for they return Absynth?
I writing comment on all NI video #return_Absynth
Sure, let them know you want it to happen.
Hey, can you use Plasmonic as an audio effect? Would love using just the fx…
Not now, but I'm working on something you will be interested in, stay tuned!!

@rhizomatic Would love the Plasmonic in a harware box because i stay away from the computer as much as i can. That would be a instabuy.
