S1x from Fallkniven with Ironwood Scales @thetopicala

- Since the winter I had had troubles with my band saw machine until JG fixed it. Thank you Joonas! My first job was to finish Fallkniven S1x model with new scales.
Model x is genuine fulltang. I only wanted to shape finger guard a bit. And of course original scales are far too thin and that problem was solved too.

I have what is probably a stupid question: does the sandpaper grind down the brass Corby bolts at the same time it’s sanding the wood?
Or, do you cut the Corby bolts down with a hacksaw?

What diameter of brass rod did you use , and what is the diameter of the holes in the tang ? Thanks. Might do this.
If I remember correctly it was 5 mm for the both questions.
What size pin stock did you use?
Diameter size of brass pin? I guess it was 5 or 6 mm. In every case the same size as the pin holes on the tang.

There are 6mm pin holes in the tang and I used 6mm thick brass pins.
