    Sir, don’t be disappointed today. Look how much water you released. It’s not your fault that the culvert isn’t being maintained correctly. We all enjoy your videos and respect your efforts or you wouldn’t have so many followers. Please keep up the good work and we’ll see you on the next video. 😊😊😊

    knowing that the culvert was already partially blocked you should have tried to open it up a bit especially with the amount of debris you send downstream, it only further blocked culvert. Now you have an even bigger problem.

    That was a tough one Mantas, the culvert being partly blocked obviously doesn't help. Give it a little bit of time for the inflow to drop and maybe have another look to see what can be done to clear the culvert. There's only so much you can do with your rake, shovel and gloves.

    Might run the potato rake through the ground in front of the culvert & inside for 6" - 1' & at the exit if you wind up in the same position again. Could lead to the water pressure peeling the sand in the culvert out
    Clearing the mouth of the culvert during the draining would be obvious & I'm pretty sure you did that even if it wasn't on camera
    I'm very intrigued as to how much debris the water did clear out of the culvert in the end?

    • @Kenislovas
      @Kenislovas  8 месяцев назад +1

    The culvert is so small, you did enough. Suggesting you check this side and probably the other side of the culvert to remove some debris if possible. Not really your fault that the dam break would have mud from dam and small sticks might pass but can accumulate too.

    I have said to myself many times, the size of the limbs and branches you let go downstream will create problems. This, plus the culvert being already partially blocked has defeated your good intentions. I do like what you do, I just don't agree with the size of some material you intentionally let go downstream. I am not trying to criticize, just trying to improve your method. Keep up what you do.

    • @mnomadvfx
      @mnomadvfx 8 месяцев назад +2

      This goes for the turf embedded in the dams too.
      This doesn't just dissolve in the water and eventually will clog the drainage channels to the point that they need to be dug fresh again.

    • @arjen4120
      @arjen4120 8 месяцев назад

      @@mnomadvfxall of these channels need to be dug out again either way sometime in the future, him sending at most a couple excavator scoops downstream isnt going to make a huge impact. Keeping the flow going also makes sure there will be less sedimentation where the water is stagnant behind the dam
