- No. 3 Florida State recovered from a slow start, a comeback effort, and an injury scare to QB Jordan Travis to eke out the win in Chestnut Hill over Boston College, 31-29. Travis had 212 passing yards and 2 touchdowns in the win, and Johnny Wilson racked up 105 yards receiving for the Noles. The Eagles’ Thomas Castellanos was impressive in the start, with 305 yards and a touchdown through the air to go with 95 yards and a score on the ground.

Man the emotions I felt, the text from asshole friends, my nerves weren’t calm until hours after. We CANNOT come out like this against Clemson and I hope we go away from trying to be a run team, Jordan does his check downs, and Mike drags the coaching staff in meeting room to let them know to do better.
Want to see more of Hill guy runs hard and has great vision. I miss ward.
Even though BC lost. They played better than we thought. The promise they showed seems/appears to indicate that there are brighter days ahead for BC Football #PLAYYOURHEART(S)OUT

Sloppy game. FSU overlooked BC with the trip to Death Valley Jr on the horizon. Might be exactly what this Noles team needed ahead of the showdown next week.
Was thinking the same thing.
Can't lay this close game at the feet of the hurricane. FSU over pursued, blew coverages, and got run into the ground. BC could be the surprise team in the ACC this season and near future. Where was our pass defense? Where was our rush defense (besides the handful of sacks and TFLs); too much open ground in the middle! Might see some angry faces on FSU coaches at this week's practices.

Ppl been saying “FSU is back”. I told those same ppl all year long all preseason FSU is not back until we demolish teams like BC, Wake, NC State. Hopefully they learn from this game. BC handed this to us on a golden platter. We survived this one today

I agree about the "FSU is Back" thing. I've been a fan since 1989, so when you say BACK to me, we're talking a very high bar. They are on the right track, compared to where we were 3 or 4 years ago. They need to continue to compete, improve and get some of these elite recruits on the roster before we are truly BACK. I was giving this 4 -5 years not counting 2020, so we're on schedule!

This game was not on Adam Fuller, his calls are solid.. it’s on the players to execute.

These highlights are nice but could be better. Why didn’t they show the Trey benson fumble on the kickoff at the end of the 3rd. No context as to why BC all of a sudden has the ball again after shanking that XP

Some issues in that FSU defensive secondary 👀. Poor coverage, slow DBs, poor tackling. Giving up a lot of yards.
The Noles have Clemson this Saturday at noon. If they play the way they did against BC they'll lose.

Once again Norvell's terrible play calling almost lost him game like the FSU/LSU game last year. Norvell has a lot to learn with making adjustments. The whole team played like Shit and is lucky to have a win.
That’s where you have it wrong it wasn’t on norvell the fault is on Adam fuller for not planning to have a qb spy on the quarterback which was stupid knowing he is a scrambler, the offense played good but toafilli and benson fumbles were deadly also Keon Coleman opi on 4th down was deady
Just as much on the execution. Our o line is good or they wouldn’t hold up against the pass rush like they do. I dont think the execution by our rbs has been good honestly… and yeah maybe it is too much between the tackles running too but it’s on both

Playcalling was bad. Effort was worse. Outside of JW, Bell, Lundy, and Travis, I don't know if anyone on our team even got off the bus.
Both RBs played like absolute knuckleheads with 2 unforced muffs/fumbles. Rodney Hill played OK, but multiple times he just ran into a crowd expecting to not get tackled or something. I get that you're supposed to follow your blocks, but if the blocking isn't there and the defense is, why would you go towards that? You can't run over 6 guys at once.

FSU should have been blown out first half against LSU, looked average against horrible Suthern Miss team and was LUCKY t beat a sorry BC team who had 18 penalties and were outgained by 100 yards by BC. Overhyped by Norvell and FSU and National media.

I love how everybody over reacts to one game FSU played horrible was up by 21 and thought BC would quit but they didnt FSU makes a couple mistakes and now iys a game they won move on they where looking ahead to Clemson
no over reaction. FSU is not playoff cailiber right now and it showed last week versus Southern Miss and again today. Yet some fans had them ACC champs already. Clemson, Miami, Duke, and Florida (Syracuse and Wake Forrest not easy outs) are still on deck. One opponent at a time and you'll get there.
