they are becoming one of my favorites and there is absolutely no way the Bass player hasn't studied Koga's video lesson series comparing her to Koga is the highest compliment i could give
The rhythm section (bass/drums) is for sure my favourite part of this band, but to be fair that is the case for a lot of bands for me. I do think the bass is turned up a little too high in some of the tracks on this EP though as it sometimes overpowers the rest for me and that is not something you will hear me generally complain about since I am always drawn to bass a drums. But overall I really like this EP even though I personally wish they use their heavier sound more and I would selfishly loose a lot of the poppy elements, but I know people that mainly listen to Japanese pop rock will probably feel the opposite way. I am certainly looking forward to see how they are going to develop in the future.
Exclamat!on is tthe strongest debut this year for sure, overall release still belongs to yosugala with Yomusagara2 so far. I really hope their personalities gel enough to where they will actually stay together. That is the most likely point of failure as of now since they don't really need to worry about money or promotion any longer. We'll see how things shake out after a couple years and a dedicated tour.

A really good debut - Maze definitely my favourite. Be interesting to see how they progress

For me, this remains their best song (although they don't really HAVE weak tracks). "Catchy" doesn't even begin to describe it...

Yeah that's always a risk.
Looking forward to their next release a lot though, very interested to see where it'll go from here 👍
I thought this might be the one you liked most, given that it is so heavy at the start. Which song did you think was best on the EP?
Probably MAZE or Blink, even though they are quite different from each other 🤔
Not sure if I'd say they are 'better' but I like them the most 😋
