For the Hello Kitty collab they had an entire Sanrio tourney in Japan like how we had the TMNT one in the Americas and Europe. There was Hello Kitty vs Cinnamaroll, My Melody vs Pompompurin, and Hello Kitty vs My Melody. My Melody ended up winning the tourney.
Splatoon 2 merch history is just, so fascinating to me, despite most of the good stuff being in Japan, like there WAS a possibility that I could’ve gotten them, but back then in 2018 I didn’t even knew such merch like that existed.
