- When India gained Independence after a lot of struggle on 15th August, 1947, it came with a sense of loss. Unlike what Indians thought, it was not a happy moment for the country.
And all of us know the reason why: Partition.
In this video, we will try to understand what were the factors and the events that led to the Partition of the country.
Now, it is important to understand that Partition did not happen in a single day or the course of a single week: It was a process that had started years back and a lot of events gave it a definite shape over the course of history.
One such event was -the Partition of Bengal in 1905

The main reason for the partition of India is the lack of emotional attachment of Muslims to India and emphasis on Islamic identity. Islamic ideology encourages negativity and hatred towards other religions, so it is difficult for Muslims to maintain equality and harmony with people of other religions. According to Islamic thought there are two types of countries Darul Harb and Darul Islam Muslim stands in favor of Darul Islam means Islamic country India comes in the definition of Darul Harb (big of infidels) for them then how can they be in favor of it Even today, the Muslim of India is Indian only by citizenship, but he considers India's religion, philosophy, tradition, language, culture as alien to everyone, on the contrary, he has a sense of affinity towards Arab culture, language, food and drink. Till Arabic and Turkish consider Muslim invaders as their own and consider Indian great men Ram Krishna, Vivekananda, Shivaji, Maharana Pratap etc. as alien, consider Arab's Arabic language as its language and India's Sanskrit etc. languages as alien when from India His emotional attachment is not only towards India How will his loyalty be, this is the reason why leaders like Jinnah and Iqbal used to talk about Hindu-Muslim unity, but these things could not last long because they were against the basic nature of Islam, and ultimately the basic separatist nature of Islam would subdue the Muslims. And this is the main reason for the partition of India, all other reasons are just excuses.
No,the main reason is when congress won of 1937 they introduced bands matram,widdia manner scheme,hosting of three coloured flag, wardha scheme,Hindu Muslim riots and many more things which was unacceptable for Muslims....

so yes its true that we muslims are seperate from other nations of the world we have different identity,different ideaology on the basis of ISLAM. But go and search what was the behaviour of congress with muslim during their rule in 1937 which made muslims realise that we can't live as a nation. Look now are living in seperate INDEPENDENT state by the grace of ALMIGHTY ALLAH. At first our leaders were in favour of unity of muslims and hindus but crucial behaviour of himdus made them realise that its not possible as we have different believes.

Hello Sir. I think you missed one important key event of 1939 World War II in which British engaged India in war & in protest Congree Members resigned altogether where as other parties like M.League, Sikh League, Hindu MahaSabha, Ambedkar ji, CPI, etc supported British & after August 8th / Quit India Movement, all major Congress leaders were put behind bars & was also banned.
Parties like M.League used vaccuum to solidify themselves which benefitted them in 1946 elections.
And Hitler would have been so very kind to Asians. NOT.

Why pakistan celebrate its independence on 14 august
Our constitution makers wants no more conflict between these two nation and if Indian Independence declared first it was supposed that Pakistan would not get its independence because Jinnah always argued for Muslim majority nation whatever condition it may was no matters .

In Pakistan the time was 11.30 but in india 12.00
Because Mountbatten was to attend independence ceremonies of both countries so he granted independence to Pakistan 🇵🇰 on 14th August and to india 🇮🇳 on 15th August
