I'm not sponsored by Soundcore in anyway, in the past they've sent me speakers before but I bought this one on my own because I was that excited about the performance. The affiliate links help pay for future speakers and making this channel a viable thing for everyone.

This X600 doesn't even sound like it was recorded with an external microphone on my surround PC speakers. Played back in stereo of course. But wow, the sound from the X600 is so bright and clear. The other speakers sound muffled and you can TELL they were externally recorded. The X600 sounds like I'm listening to the actual track on my PC. Amazing. Buying this speaker for my kitchen and when I'm out in the garden chilling with a few drinks with friends in Summer :D Thank you for this.
and? do you recommend it?
Great video Danny, and thanks for sharing memorable experiences with us.
This speaker sounds incredible
I just received a new bluetooth speaker yesterday, while it sounds very good, i could have saved money if i had waited to buy this soundcore one instead. Wow! What an improvement in the speaker market
Thank you for the review and the comparison, very helpful.
Great review, loved the multi spliced sound comparisons. Good color commentary. Hysterical story. I would have just stood next to the car.
Awesome video my son’s getting it for me for Father’s Day can’t wait just bought the motion boom plus for a great price soundcore is stepping it up thanks for doing the video awesome video as always
The test between the speakers confirmed this was the one for me. Time to go shopping!
Love how you did the sound test 🔊
He use his ears
thank you for the sound comparison. that must have been a lot of work
Danny, I was excited to hear of your experience in Louisiana. I'm an LSU alum and currently work there! God bless!
Geaux Brian haha. Another alum in the house :)
Watching videos on this channel.. not only do you end up with great tests to help you with your speakers shopping list, but you learn a few new dance moves along the way 😇
I did get myself 2 Soundcore Motion+ a year ago, one for my PC and the other for the kitchen area. I still enjoy these a lot.
With this test it seems so clear the Soundcore X600 w/spatial outclasses many speakers I know. Maybe the Bose Soundlink Flex comes close? Or the B&O Beosound? How would you compare these? I'll have both my eyes on this one for sure. Too bad the grip is taking a lot of real estate.
Thank you for the video Danny. I currently have the Bose revolve+ 2 and have been hesitant on whether I will notice a difference going to the X600. I think this video is the first one to have them together.
Purchased flip 6 two weeks ago. It is OKAY. I wish you had posted this video sometime back. But thanks for this Danny. You are doing great job.
Why don’t you like the 6? I am down to this and flex but x600 just got added on the list
@@verynick Its not that I don't like it. It is an okayish portable speaker. This one looks much better imo. Also bose flex is also good alternative to flip 6 if money is not your concern. In India there is too much price difference between the two hence I chose flip 6.
I'm definitely subscribing to your channel. Really liking your content
Now I've had your recommendation I've just ordered one, thanks Danny, you are a legend.
how does it sound?
Just got mine last week, and it is amazing. There is the one feature that only works with the Android phones, but the app for the iPhone works great and I love having a graphic custom equalizer.
Thank you so much for this review and the bonus story LOL 😂😂😂😂😂 you poor thing. I love how you do sound tests by comparing the speaker to other ones using the same song!! It's so helpful and really appreciated.
I have a Jawbone Big Jambox and with the live audio setting enabled you get sounds all around you in magical ways that I can't understand or fathom myself. I guess it's like the other products you mentioned here in that not all songs are recorded in a way to offer that experience, so it's not noticeable with all tunes, but when it's there it is pretty neat. The only thing is that you have to have the speaker pointed right towards your head/face to get that sound experience. Still pretty neat in my book.
back in the early 2000's sony did the same exact thing with some of their speaker products, it was called "Mega Xpand" aka stereo widening. of course they also had the "Mega Bass" button. younger people don't remember this.
have we been had? I mean it sounds good though.
@@DannyPops i thought it sounded good for like 4 hours. it got fatiguing to ears after awhile.
@@DannyPopsi think people are confused that the speaker is going to give them a dolby atmos experience. it only plays in stereo. the factory eq with "spatial audio" turned off sounds really bad. i have the Edifier R1280DBs (which sound great) and they also happen to have a stereo expansion feature. i don't use it lol
Don’t you love they reinvent the wheel? LOL
Toshiba had "Stereo Wide" on some of their portables back in the 1980s.
You could select from Mono/Stereo/Stereo Wide.
No idea how it worked.
Great test!! 👍👏🔥
The difference seems to be the clarity and depth of sound. Great test , it certainly does stand out. I'll be getting one and giving my Motion Boom to my kid.
I feel like you planted that story at the end just as a test to see if I watched, lol. My favorite story.
That story at the end was like a scene cut from American Pie.
liked the story in the end😆
Great review. Do you think that the spatial audio technology could be downscaled into a smaller form factor?…like a JBL flip 6 size?
Thank you Sir for this video!!!!
Love your story!
I recently bought this speaker at the intro price CAD $199 and this speaker is amazing. I was previously using the Bose Soundlink Mini 2 and the Soundcore X600 blows the Bose away. I also have the Soundcore Liberty 4 with the spatial audio. Soundcore is on fire.
Does it sound alive like marshall?
They are down to 150 bucks now
Hey an alligator could’ve got your ass be glad it wasn’t that poor guy
Hi Danny, thanks for the comparison. How is the sound compared to HK Aura Studio 3 or Onyx 8?
I love your videos so much. Period!!!
This is gonna be the next bluetooth speaker I buy for sure!... Also I wanna say that I love the dancing during the speaker testing it's amazing.
Thanks for the video Danny and the hilarious story! Quick question, are the bluetooth speakers level matched or set the same volume %? Some sounds way louder than the others and something louder generally tends to sounds "better."
They were all set to about 70-80% with that, I'd say the Middleton was the hottest of the bunch to ear. But thats why I put the decibel meter in the shot to help see how off or on I was.
Fantastic sounding speaker! I bought a second one, so I could connect them together. Solid sound, and build quality! SO happy that they’re water proof. You won’t be disappointed with buying these revolutionary speakers! 😁👍🏻❤️🇨🇦
Good job Danny 👍🤩
You made me want to present this product to my French subscribers!!
Yeah Mika, definitely a worth while one, I'd imagine you'll do well with this
Wow, Glad you did a review of the X600, I really wanted to see your feedback on this one. I am tempted to buy it but I am going to wait a while. The one situation that I come across is when you buy a speaker, then the technology gets better the next year, and you see the progress and improvements of the newer speakers. I am really keeping an eye on Soundcore, they are doing amazing things, I own a pair of Soundcore's Liberty Air 2 Pro earbuds and they are great.
Based on some reviews and feedback, including your reviews on the Bose Flex and the 1st Gen Marshall Emberton, I bought both of these in late 2022, and I still love both of them. Thank you for what you do, Danny. And yes many of us have had embarrassing situations happen to all of us at one point or another, I think I lead the pack with some of what I have been through!
I hope, as you are saying, that this will "redefine" (or at least BOOST the industry in this way) of REAL WORKING "spatial audio", not like what we can get on smartphones when activating Dolby Atmos, that just COMPRESS the sound and makes it BAD
because, I don't know if you tested it back in the days, but the Denon Envaya was AMAZING
it was aiming for this type of "spatial audio" thing and it was so well done !
What I found funny, is that I had a computer that was an ACER NITRO 5, and it had a software called Waves MaxxxAudio on it : when settings were well done, the sound was as airy and spatial as on this new soundcore !
and what is funny is that : the speaker I used with this software was a Creative iRoar Go (a little similar driver / tweeter setup as this X600)
and what is funny too is that those Denon Envaya, as far as I know, had in fact a personalized version of waves maxxxaudio implemented ! (and that's why it was that good lol)
PS : I don't know if you want to do it, but I asked the Soundcore team, and they answered that -> If 2 X600 are paired in stereo, the DSP STILL WORKS and it is calibrated for the stereo mode !
If you wanna test it and give us your feedback, I'm pretty sure it can be REALLY AMAZING
Nice review 👍
The best sound test I've seen
Great review and great story 😂
Love the donuts and coffee on your shirt! I think I'm going to go get some Southern Maids.
I've inspired a less healthy, but amazing breakfast this morning for you.
Your persona on videos is outstanding you are so entertaining my favorite reviewer on you tube on Bluetooth speakers and your videos sound great as well.
Thanks Bill, and I appreciate you giving my channel the love!!
It was funny seeing you try to rock out to the same clip over and over. I give you credit for persistence 😂
Great video and am a new subscriber. Great work!
I tried my best lol ty for watching
Great work Danny. I was waiting for u to check this one out. I've been hearing ALOT bout this one... Would u say that it is soundcore best in ur opinion? Would u honestly say it's better than Middleton?
I would hesitate to say soundcore as a brand is the best, but its clear they want to be. I see them comparable to like Hyundai- bringing incredible value and quality. I'd go with this other the Middleton no question.
Just bought a fender Riff, sounds pretty good
Just got mine and I love it!
Does it sound alive like marshall?
How's the battery life?
High quality video reflecting at the speaker's quality
Can’t wait. Two weeks later it’s here. It’s a little gem.
High mid lows sound superb I’ll have to buy to test out
Wow!! The soundcore x600 sound super full
Ha I went to LSU and took that route all the time. I am testing the LG XG5, Costco Deal. Well it’s just ok in SQ but my unit will not charge. So this will be a fun review. Cheers
Sir thats the reason why youre good, i enjoy your reviews, those stories…
The best part was the story at the end!
I might just order this Friday 😂
Thank you so much for the review. I have a question. Does this speaker turn off automatically? I am looking for one that does not do that because I want to play from my phone anytime, and I don't want to turn it on every time! It's annoying!
I bought a Philips boom box in 1982 and had Spatial Audio rotary knob
How’s this compare to the Middleton? I just ordered one but now you got me thinking 🤔
Just had one delivered today.
Just having initial listen. With the Spatial audio off the sound is pretty weak, with the SA on though makes a massive difference
I was a bit hyped for this one (got mine today). I mainly gonna use it as a cinema speaker in my RV and I think the spatial sound can be awesome for that. First tests with Dolby Atmos videos on youtube were quite cool. I actually felt a pretty wide sound stage in my living room from such a small speaker, a couple of the dolby atmos-clips tricked me hearing things around me instead from the speaker, yay. However there is almost no base at all, a big downgrade from Harman Kardon Go+Play so far. That speaker is still my fav one besides it wasn't possible to charge it with usb-c.
have you tried tweaking the eq? am really considering this one
Does it sound alive like marshall?
@@carlocauton3678Yeah, that's what I would do. Turn every frequency down EXCEPT the lower ones. (100hz and below leave at zero.) Should get a much better bass response by doing that.
Folks these days are used to ugly bass that they have no idea what “true bass” is anymore.
Do you know any portable speaker around 400-900grams that good for movie ? The low bass for rumble in movie
I got curious about this BTS, well I will give it a try. I have my SC select pro its sounds pretty good it almost can par with my extreme 3, in terms of loudness. I recommend to try a SONOS move 2 for review please. :D
Thanks for the video, what do you think will be a better buy Bose Soundlink Flex or Soundcore X600 ?
the x600 for most casual cases.
I own this speaker and It's the best speaker I have ever owned. I went out and got a second one to connect them together. game over. Best set up for me.
Psst.. to make any stereo sound like surround sound... get a third speaker, power handling only needs to be a few watts and connect its two wires, one to each plus leads from each main speaker. Put the 3rd speaker at the rear or centre front of your sound stage and prepare to be amazed!
Those lighted controls seem obnoxiously bright. Can that be adjusted?
I bought one and love it great sound beats a lot of more expensive ones got it after getting soundcore liberty 4nc earbuds and thinking they were great
Great speaker! I wonder if it supports TWS, i can imagine 2 of these in spatial mode stereo would sound insane, and lastly if the the metal handlebar could be removed, I think it would make fitting 2 of these inside a backpack much easier
Yes they do. I bought two for that very reason
I really played the bonus story part Again, interesting 😂
Hey Danny. Awesome review! I recently had a massive heart attack two weeks ago. I had the "widow maker". I could've died but thankfully I didn't. Before this happened, I put down a $1 to get this speaker. Unfortunately, now I'm on just short term disability which is barely enough to keep the bills up. I got my coupon, but I only have so much longer to use it. It sucks because I was really looking forward to getting this for my dogs and me. :( Thanks for the review.
Damn Tommy, sorry that sucks. Life is precious and I'm glad you are here. Speaker be damned.
Sad stories don't get you free speakers
Thanks for sharing swampman. Hope you told her "don't go too far, one day I'll be the greatest reviewer of mini speakers, in the world.."
I bought the X600 I love it clear a lot of other speakers sound not as clear I would definitely recommend it great bang for your buck.
Story was great!
It's called crosstalk cancellation and it's been around for a very long time. It started with ambiophonics.
I have one and I love it❤!!! Beats my $300 JBL. Good video, thank you 👍 😊
Does it sound alive like marshall?
How does it compare to the X500 ?
how would this compare to the sonos one gen 2?
Is it better and louder than the Anker Soundcore Pro?
Can I pair two anker x600
Torn between this and Harman Kardon Aura 4. Can you help me decide?
How’s compared to the Tufton? Help me please.
Is the Soundcore better than the Woburn 3?
Please do a test review on Edifier QD35
The sound of the Soundcore X600 is really clear.
Still using the original soundcore boost, plenty of bass on that with bass up !
Speaker seems amazing but i wish it could fit in my work bag along with all my other work bag crap.
But how do podcasts sound on it ?
Soundcore X600 VS. the Magic Radio ob-4 comparison?
Please let me know is X600 better than JBL Extreme 2 in your views. I am planning to replace my JBL soon
I came here to get info about this X600 I want to buy on sale, but stayed for the awesome bum dancing, then ended up buying it on sale in Australia.
Soundcore AU website has it for AU$129.99 includes delivery plus you can get 10% off by clicking the little gift emoji on the homepage which generates a discount code.
So the price goes to AU$117.00 (US$78.79), as of 5th July 2024. I'm trusting your review, I hope it's as good as you state.
Change everything?
Motion x600 vs harman kardon studio 8, please
I just want to have fun, clap my hands
Os graves são melhores que os da onyx 7?
Just got this for Fathers day this speaker is amazing soundcore is quality sound for a great price you just can’t beat them my new go too speaker great video Danny as always. This one stays in house it’s too nice to take outdoors
Have you tested any products from minirig?
I've asked them several times but they never sent anything
Looking for a BT speaker to use on an e-scooter. I was looking at the Sony SRS-XG300 as I want to make sure it offers some bass outside. How would this speaker compare outside? Any better speaker to look at that's around the size of the Sony or smaller for this purpose?
have you checked out the Tribit Micro 2? Lots of sound (some bass) for a TINY speaker and you can attach to handlebars: amzn.to/43evbw8 (affiliate link that helps if you use it)
@@DannyPops From my experience, tiny and bass/big sound do not seem to come in the same package, especially outside and in the wind.
Would you recommend this speaker for outside by the pool, if not what are some alternatives you would recommend instead
It'd be great next to the pool since it's ip67. It's also decently loud for its size
@@DannyPops okay because I’m looking for a speaker my opinions I’m considering are motion boom plus, sony xg300, motion x600, boombox 3, xtreme 3. I was considering Marshall speaker but I’m not sure because the Bluetooth they have is 5.1
“Platinum, Panasonic platinum-with the miracle of AMBIENT sound” 1981?
Appreciate the review and notice that you have a decibel meter handy, but the volumes do not seem to be equal during the comparisons *and* the audio is badly clipped in the music portions of the video. Viewers cannot compare audio when it is clipped and distorted. I assume that you are trying to match the volumes when recording as otherwise humans always prefer the louder sound, but the samples are not of equal volume on my end and the levels are somehow being clipped when editing.
I downloaded the best quality audio in multiple formats to examine with an audio editor, so these claims are measurable.
For example, at around the 3:00 mark, the Bose is about 4dB quieter than the preceding X600. Yes, the Bose sounds bad anyway, but it is disadvantaged by being quieter in the presentation, even if it was equal in the room.
Yes i definitely don't have lab results here, but RTINGS does that much better. This is better than nothing though! :)
Lol story. Great review thanks :)
Does Apple Music recognize the speaker as a spatial audio device ? So when playing a spatial audio song does it show spatial audio on Apple Music?
This speaker upmixes stereo, it's still a stereo speaker
It's moments like this that we can look back and laugh at, but in that moment it's fucking devestating.
I'd like to see this compared to somthing like the w-king d10. Because that thing is about 100 bucks and blows everything else I've heard out dollar per sound....also soundcore is a big brand these days
