Hi there. I bought the Aurora Green Soundcore Motion X600 yesterday afternoon on the strength of your review and it arrived early this morning (thanks Amazon). It’s absolutely amazing! Significantly louder than my Apple HomePod and even has better sound. I’m not sure how that’s even possible given that the HomePod needs a power cord. The Spatial Audio (which I am nuts about anyway) is awesome - it’s like going from mono to stereo in the olden days. The aesthetic and build quality of both the speaker and packaging are Apple-level. I highly recommend the X600. Keep up the great reviews and thanks again!

The Stereo "WIDE" function of 80s-90s boom boxes & receivers had in principal increased the perceived width of the music by adjusting certain frequency bands typically the mid-range to give this effect nice to see it coming back!

I’m not a fan of JBL products because they seem to always break down after time. But I haven’t had any issues with SC products, plus I love that I can carry it anywhere. It’s a win/win for me.

Though, I don't know if they'll go higher or lower in price point than the Move. though I do think they'll tout it as a 'move around the home' speaker more than a 'take on a hike' speaker.
I picked one up in the CLEARANCE aisle at Costco this week for $99 Cdn., about $0.40 US, and I love it. I'm by no means an audio snob, but the sound quality, volume and depth is noticeably better than my old 30W Soundcore Motion+. My only complaint is the LED lights all across the top of the speaker, I wish there was a way to dim them, or have them turn off after a few seconds. Also, my old Soundcore Motion+ has amazing battery life, 90% of the time it's on 50% volume, but I expect to be charging the X600 more frequently. edit: just found some 'LED Light Dimming Stickers' on Amazon 👍

It does go very loud, and has the clarity to hear every detail. Latter place against wall fills my 3.5m x 6m lounge/diner, the X600 sounded like a hummingbird farting in a fruit bowl. X600 was returned.
It is indeed amusing how people are falling for a set of cheap tricks. Widening soundstage by cutting the mids is old as the world. 50w split between 5 drivers is two times weaker than 40 w into 2 drivers. I guess a tad less if 1/5 is a passive radiator, not powered driver. The freq response is so wonky, but sure, who's to say that true audio is higher quality than catchy audio? ;) I particularly love how bad the speaker sounds with the special functions off to make people buy into how awesome those functions are! What else do you reckon they might have done for the spatial mojo? Play with phase difference, hence the need for so many little drivers?
