Funny enough, if you avoid grouping, the more dangerous quests and mostly just slow grind you can get to lvl 60 relatively safely with all classes. It just takes pretty long, since you grind lower same or lower level mobs most of the time.

@@heheneji nah. wotlk was the beginning of the stagnant wow formula that still exists today. it had a good story and a memorable main antagonist, but most people, after going back and playing, would say it's pretty lackluster on content compared to prior iterations of the game.
It’s not, hardcore is only good cause you are in constant fear of dying. Adrenaline is high. But, classic is not as good. Retail is a better game in every way

Raid and keystone parsing shows a huge drop off in activity. Fact of the matter is, hardcore is the only reason people are watching the game right now. Without it, the game is dead in the water.
If I’m not mistaken, world drop and dungeon boss epics are significantly more common on this version. I believe it was first implemented in SoM(or phase 5 classic) and stayed on to the era servers and subsequently hardcore
@@daviouscram2101 I think it’s actually a super cool change for casuals more than serious players. People who raid will replace the dungeon epics quickly(as fast as you can in vanilla), while non-raiders will get way more mileage, not to mention the feeling of having a purple rather than a blue
The easiest way to play classic hardcore: 1) Pick a class like a Paladin, Rogue, or Hunter. A class that has "OH SHIT" button. 2) Always do content 2 levels lower than you. It's slower, but way safer.
I grinded the same farm on my hunter (in turtle wow hardcore). I had to pick hunter because I would DC like every 15 minutes. My kitty did most of the work with that in mind. It’s a brain dead circle I ran for nearly 10 levels. But it was chill.
7:17 you both create a lvl 1 char, invite each other in a group and wait for you to layer so you are standing next to each other. now your ACCOUNTS are layered on the same layer. then just log to your main chars and you are 100% on the same layer with your main chars.

Nice video! Looks like u know what u are doing. Food buffs and stat increase elixirs are super good aswell when u do the mage aoe pulls! I remember how hard it is to remember too use this since mage aoe farming is just netflix and chill for 30 hours 😆
For the duration of the video, I couldn't shake the discomfort that ClassicCastBars + whatever other nameplate addon (neatplates?) he was using displaying two enemy cast bars *every single time*.

Staysafe has used that same character model since before Pint was a RUclipsr. I used the same one 15 years ago. It’s the only good female gnome hair / face in classic.
Less about nowhere to run than the limited space making respawn attacks more likely, which are one of the biggest dangers you can't really play around, because respawn just happens.

grinding for the long boy back in 2020 is what ruined my life, had to grind 4,900,000g in less then 7 months i think? and we were at the end of BFA, lockdowns were just starting, and i had nothing better to do. so i sat down, strapped in, and started the grind. from March 25th to August 5th, i got that grind down and through grease, sweat, and tears. i got the 5m gold
man i've 55 war rn and its so stressfull just to play a game with a one life. you just cant chill cause whenever you're too relaxed it is the most risky time for ur char that equals days ingame time. i know it sounds nerdish, but i even had few nightmares where my warrior trapped with thousands mobs everywhere and i cant escape and slowly dying. it's kinda unhealthy reaction to the game tbh.
It's pretty awesome, Quite engaging and while you sit and drink you can organise the huge amount of items you get in your bag, for some reason i really enjoyed that aspect. Only issue is you can't really AOE farm if there is any other mages or players in the area.
Amazing video, insane journey. I personally wouldn't have rolled on the Bad Mojo mask, that lock deserved it, it's super well itemized for them and spriests.
Something to do with RUclips's vod system I believe, once you stream over 13 hours or so it no longer saves the vod. So he had to "stop" the stream occasionally just to save the vods, but one part he went over the time limit.
Honestly, starting zones are usually pretty chill, the problem is when you LEAVE said starting zones. That's where the game really ramps up in difficulty in my experience. (Probably a factor why the death level avarage is so low.)
I think classic WoW has always had a very punishing amount of small knowledge that you ether know or you die too. There are things like a 1 min 60% movespeed debuff on a world mob or weird interactions with how you bug into terrain that if you don't know about or deal with correctly you just die outright. a lot of deaths are panic actions which could be averted , many are just carelessness, some however kill you just because you didn't know about it until it was a thing xD
Honestly levels 11-20 are the hardest because you can pull one extra mob and die due to limited tools. Depends on class what the exact level range is, of course.
I thought you couldn’t group up in hardcore wow unless it was for instances, am I wrong? The only reason I haven’t tried it is because I used to like the social aspect of playing wow
Its funny that he had trouble with those loch modan ogre elites with a group of 3, on hardcore those can be solo'd by a priest as long as you pull 1 at a time.

I never played mage in classic and honestly it looks very satisfying aoe farming when compared to my rogue playthrough

This is official hardcore. There’s auction house, trading, grouping, and you can run dungeons multiple times but each one is on its own 1-day lockout.

If I was actually playing HC I’d skip Gnomeregan. This dungeon is terrible and extremely poorly designed
