Kevin, what I really like about this show is that it makes the viewer feel like we're getting to listen to friends talking and that some how we are a part of it. I get to see everybody's true personalities. It's refreshing and fun. Thanks.
This interview is fantastic! And I've got to say, this show is the best interview show that I've seen since Johnny Carson was on. Thank you! I've only seen 12 shows so far, but I'm watching a few every day, so I hope to get caught up before too long. ;)
Kevin: this is how interviews should be done-an interviewer and their guest who truly like each other, respect each other and know each other. Both of you were funny and entertaining. And best of all I learned much more about each of you. I like you and Bob even more than I did before. This was definitely the schat.
My first exposure to this show....I really like it. Great job guys, very well done. I subscribed. Also...very good to see bob at ease with himself - dare i say confidant ?? well produced and skilled interviewing - talk hosting. Great stuff all around........
The beardier Kevin gets the more he looks like a director (I know he is one)! Great interview, what a sweet, genuine and hilarious guy Bobcat is! Looking forward to Tom Hanks tonight!
@ 1:39:50 lol I rented Hot 2 Trot all the time as a kid in the late 80’s. I must have rented it 25 times. I think my crush of Virginia Madden started there. Love the part where I think his dad is reincarnated as a horse fly.
There's no thermal imaging of a Bigfoot. Sadly, sorry Bobcat... end of story. But I am SO happy to see Bobcat. He and Paula are my, 'Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me' panelists.
When I first learned that I’d be working on Bobcat’s pilot “Love you More”, I didn’t know what to expect…I hated his standup, apart from a not bad performance on “Scrooged” and “Shakes The Clown” (which he wrote and directed), I’ve loathed everything else that he had done. He was a sweet guy, terribly quiet and funny.
Too much about the police academy movies. Kevin Pollak, you didn't ask about playing himself on HBO's The Larry Sanders Show. Here's a plot written to parallel the real Leno event. : =RuMqQVvDGWk Also, you didnt ask he got the name Bobcat. Bob Goldthwait made weekly appearances on a San Francisco morning radio show where Bobcat headed up a comedians' roundtable.Host Alex Bennett promoted Bob's comedy club shows and suggested he change his name to "Bobcat" b/c his hair was wild and stuck out everywhere while he ranted and waved his arms around like a wild animal... Really appreciated getting to the Sam Kinison fued. Great finish. Thx, KPCS
Keven is one of the smartest people in the business, a joy to listen to ... mostly. I love the "fly-on-the-wall" aspect of the show. But that Tweet 5 is obnoxious.
I didn't like police academy one so didn't see any more. I only went to see Bobcat. I still own a copy of Shakes the Clown and I love it. I'm weird, I love weird comedy. Don't I deserve some as much as the normies with their dull or cruel humour?
What happened??? 189 shows and Kevin finds some humility -- the world truly might be coming to an end. Yes of course there's still the lame opening, but hey, it's shorter. But the interview, finally, no desperation to appear creative -- no yearning to show your guest that you are shit -- no imitations (at the least to the mid point of the interview at which I felt the need to comment on this historic change --) no horseshit musing over the creative process, and only one mention of "the dossier." Pollak have you been seeing a shrink -- are you meditating -- what changed? Congratulations little one, for the first time ever in this (whatever this is) you did not nauseate. And on top of it, no cutesy rat pack hipster hat. Are we truly headed to a place where you accept your bald dome? Don't leave before the miracle, this show is evidence they really can happen. Bobcat was a great guest and your interview was seamless. You may just be finally vacating your position atop the Victim of Self mountain. Bravo Pollak, Bravo!!
Best guest ever. Mr. Goldthwaite is a delight.
Bobcat exudes so much warmth, humanity, and modesty while still being funny and even cutting. Pretty rare in...any field
My husband has been telling me for weeks that I've got to check this interview out. Here I am finally and nails intact so far.
One of my favourite 'chats'. Bobcat is super cool and very funny. The Russell Brand story is the best ever!
Kevin, what I really like about this show is that it makes the viewer feel like we're getting to listen to friends talking and that some how we are a part of it. I get to see everybody's true personalities. It's refreshing and fun. Thanks.
Great interview, I wish there was more of these type of interviews on TV, Bobcat is very likable and funny
Bobcat was an inspiring guy - great conversation.
RIP
what a great show and episode, totally engrossing, well done!
Very cool episode. Thank you.
I didn't even know I liked Bobcat, but this is an amazing interview.
Anything Bob Goldthwait, laugh harder every time. Hits my funny.
This is a classic. One for the archives!
Kevin, you are one Hell of an Interviewer, Really. Thank You.
This is the best KPS ever.
43:39 Genius! I love that he's just telling random funny stories.
+Gerald5000 the wtf with him and maron is my favirote interview with bob. He's really funny.
This interview is fantastic! And I've got to say, this show is the best interview show that I've seen since Johnny Carson was on. Thank you! I've only seen 12 shows so far, but I'm watching a few every day, so I hope to get caught up before too long. ;)
Try Joe Rogan Expierence. Maybe you wil like it.
Seems like calling yourself an "experience" is kind of pretentious, unless maybe if you're Jimi Hendrix or something.
@@NondescriptMammal It's an homage but homages are a little pretentious.
Just the moment at 43:43 is comedy gold, never minding the rest of the interview XD
Spongbobscwapants
Jesus lol....loved it
Awesome Show! Added this one to my favorites!

I love Bobcat when he's talking about his flicks. He's an artist that loves his work and knows it well. Great interview! I need to get back into KPCS.
love him, so down to earth. Funny too.
I love this man, such a beautiful soul! Thank you Bobcat!!
Loved this episode. Thanks.
Wish you guys would get him on again!
Thank You Very Much !!!
Happy Birthday today Bobcat!
C'mon Bobcat. Don't sell yourself short. You're acting was BRILLIANT in Police Academy 2 3 and 4!
The beardier Kevin gets the more he looks like a director (I know he is one)!
Great interview, what a sweet, genuine and hilarious guy Bobcat is!
Looking forward to Tom Hanks tonight!
"What would I do if I wasn't scared?" Wow!!
The rib Bobcat pulled on Super Dave with the TV and messing with SD’s doll is epic. Even better than that is the Nickelback rib
Interview Starts @ 6:00
I was just thinking how much I love this theme song! I love it! I am thinking it'll be difficult to replace it with anything better.
I love Kevin
I loved the Godzilla scene of Bogcat in one crazy summer . Because he is hilarious but I'm a huge Godzilla fan too . it's hilarious !!!
Now that's a podcast !
... or show, - whatever. Good Stuff.
Seriously, if I every win the Powerball, I am totally funding Bob's movies for a long while...
I bob cat especially in one crazy summer movie with the little fat boy scene lol
He aged pretty well
jump to 6:00 or you'll be wondering why you are still awake..
Oh man, 10 seconds of lead singer close up. Well played Mr. Goldthwait
This show is criminally underated and unknown. Want for resurrection
43:44 LOL Awesome story!
@ 1:39:50 lol I rented Hot 2 Trot all the time as a kid in the late 80’s. I must have rented it 25 times. I think my crush of Virginia Madden started there. Love the part where I think his dad is reincarnated as a horse fly.
"World's Greatest Dad" film was an awesome independent film. Also if you squint your eyes, Bobcat is missing the top of his skull.
HAHA! I squinted my eyes and laughed a lot! Thank You!
What a sweet, smart fellow.
Is this KPs first *2 Hat* interview?
(should I wear one, here at home?)
Hey Bobcat, How has your bowel function been these days? 1:01:39
I watched the one with my main hero Scott Aukerman twice, this one will probably be a double viewing as well.
Scott Aukerdoody from that show comedy bing bong?
@@snavisTM Yeah, something like that.
@@BNL07604 Hott Saucerman?
@@snavisTM Rings a bell... but isn't it Hot Soccermom?
There's no thermal imaging of a Bigfoot. Sadly, sorry Bobcat... end of story. But I am SO happy to see Bobcat. He and Paula are my, 'Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me' panelists.
Mentioning One Crazy Summer. Are my day.
I still quote Bobcat Goldthwait lines from it.
Did he try to sound like Bono in Police Academy? Anyone know??
I love the Hamm's bear tattoo
So much genius on here.
Bill Cambell was my high school physics teacher.
Nice to see Kevin dressed like a normal human for a change.

BG looks comfortable in his path ,, compared to the next interview where Tom Hanks still looks like he's being chased by something.
How much more vague and mystic can you get? Do you have any evidence that Hanks is being 'chased'? Pathetic.
hanks is a fake
Thanks Hanks. Thanks
Strange to hear that Sam kinnison thought Bob was ripping off his act. But believable all the same, kinnison was out of control towards the end
I’ll never know why he came up with that voice when he’s so much funnier without it.

43:43 best story
6:33 starts interview
The Russel Brand save by Bobcat is even greater given the recent outing of Brand as a rapist / child rapist.
Still watching fake news bud?
And intelligent!!!
WOW! He actually sounds normal.
Goldthwait > Seinfeld
Keven is one of the smartest people in the business, a joy to listen to ... mostly. I love the "fly-on-the-wall" aspect of the show. But that Tweet 5 is obnoxious.
Jaime is the human Tina Belcher
103:30 . . . Well, spotting great talent isn't for everyone.
The fact that this got all of 55k views as of 2019 is one of the great failures of the youtube algorithm
YETI...YETI...YETI!
Had a feeling this would be a good interview...
Should wear that hat again Kevin.
This sounds like a Bigfoot version of Blair Witch.
I didn't like police academy one so didn't see any more. I only went to see Bobcat. I still own a copy of Shakes the Clown and I love it. I'm weird, I love weird comedy. Don't I deserve some as much as the normies with their dull or cruel humour?
When Todd Hockney asks you to subscribe, you subscribe. I subscribed.
i didn't care for you 2 people before and a nickleback cover band did not sweeten the pot.
good show.
Soup bowls of children skulls XD
Hahaha shark week

Kevin is not nauseating, but boy, you sure are.
The saddest part is I know you felt so proud and superior after you wrote all of that pompous bullshit.
1:02:25 to 1:03:05 Not funny, just deep as...
She is Cute to me
Kevin great comedian, acting not so much. Bobcat im so sorry. 😉 Although Willow was a bad ass move .
D bags
glad i didnt watch the whole thing
