Hey dude, I’m trying to work on a beat that has a rolling bass line non stop but it makes everything muddy. Driving me mad, I’ve tried multiple times compressors, all sorts. Still can’t get away with it as it takes all the bandwidth any idea I can shoot the stems if needed.

You can try using dynamic eq and side chain it to the instrument that’s muddying the part. You have to decide which instrument you want to be dominant or loud for that section.

Bro, I just make the beats in mpc and render out the stems straight into cuebase drag and drop.
