I got annoyed. Far too quick, with vital steps left out and incomprehensible steps added. You said, "I have a keyboard shortcut which I just pressed". What shortcut? Shortcut for what and from where? You didn't even show yourself adding the "group track" or "adding the folder". Is this a video for people in the know? By theway, if you use up down buttons for track selection you wont be able to use them for anything else, like moving notes, so hardly worth it.

New to Cubase/ if I recorded a project, but want to go back and add voice and instrument effects... how do I do that? Do I have to add a track for each effect? Where can I look at each effect to use while making changes? Thank you!

How can I save a sound I created personally and want to save to use in future projects? Or how can I record different sounds and save them for future projects?

Is it possible to map midi expressions on cubase on a way that if I'm playing something in Superior Drummer (or any VST Instrument) that cubase can translate it over to another piece if software like Addictive Drums 2, VSL Power Drums (or any other vst instrument?)

Good video and I was thinking about about purchasing Studio One and you mentioned that third party plug-ins work in the Artist version.. Other videos through the comments said I couldn't and would have to purchase another option to for it to work or buy the pro version..

Absolutely genius, i haven’t seen this solution anywhere and it looks so effective So since this is global, all you have to do is select the project from the drop down of the input transform and any MIDI sent to that track will be transformed. What is the difference between track and project though?

On a different topic.. How can I change my work flow to time? Like say a project is 6 minutes...instead of how it is now. Im new to DAWs, Cubase Pro 13... I just want to start my song when I hit record and want it to stop when I hit stop... how can I do that? I thought I seen it on one of your videos a few days ago,but cant find it.. thank you

Man, its so awesome how much love you give to Groove Agent. I love it so much moee than Battery, I've been slowly converting over their factory presets into groove agent so i can just gave have it all in one place

what about when a two-track instrumental is out of phase in some parts... (Is there a remedy without access to the original stem files?)

tip: you can use GA patterns to trigger separate vstis (like Pianos, synths) in arrange!! it´s pure fun... a bit of Abelton Live Lounger Clip Mode. (drag/drop "midi event" from arrange to pads, and vise versa, are also possible)

big fan of Groove Agent now!! it´s so great to have timestretching (!!!!), pitch/filter/curves/distortion and so on for every (!) pad (wav) drumsound!

Yeah , ok verry good tutorial , But you forgotten to tell how to export a sliced and editted parts of a sample into a new sample .... 🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂🤷‍♂ Ow yeah , and also , how you change the tone of the key of the sample ? any idea of that ? I have 2 asmples , one is in Gm and the other in Bm how do i match them ? you can select key range and fixed range ... but didn't get it right . Thx , great work !

I would wish they could add another feature for the export window que export. A mute tab. Sometimes, we want a different version of the masters, full mix, without lead vocals as minus one and without all vocals..

thanks this video was very very useful, I use Nuendo for years now and even though I sometimes go for some presets... I never thought of making these ... its a big upgrade to my workflow to avoid only going through a template and having the template in parts i f I need...maybe as track archives to have the folders etc, and only import some parts I may need for the project (wow I always used exporting and importing track archives to collaborate all the time but never to have my own archive...this is great)

I have to sit and go over this... then i need to find one for maschine REALLY badly!

Fl Studio & Cubase have different loudness level & audio quality. If I composed in FL studio as a rewire in cubase can I get that cubase's output sound quality?

I have all of them, but I need to spend some time exploring the possibilities. So far I'm mostly using IconiocaSketch, TapeVibes and LoFi Piano.

Agree and just made the switch myself a month ago, although I had no previous experience with Cubase. Would you consider posting some content that includes your thoughts on how to make the change to CB a wee bit less painful- Just tiny little things after you sort it out, but for me, it lacks some of Studio One's intuitive nature so there is a steeper learning curve than I expected. The drum editor is very powerful and doesn't need changing, in my opinion. If people prefer the option of beat designer (I never use it) the option is there to use it. Diamonds are easier to visually programme drums (my preference). I would.like an add vibrato or tremolo option in variaudio. Also, when checking the scale of a midi part, I would like the option of a percentage check? For example, if some notes are off scale,the scale check won't give the closest results?
