How did the front djm shocks handle? I’m currently running Belltech street performance and they keep getting softer and softer, and keep making noises so may go with djm next
They were great no complaints, I still have them on my Yukon. And I also have the Belltech street performance on my Silverado and I agree they feel a bit softer.
If your bottoming out your frame may be hitting the rear bump tops brackets if you haven’t cut them off, and if you did that already then most likely your Panhard bracket is hitting the top on the driver side and you have to trim that area for more space, it’s next to a body mount brace. @@MiGo713 because I have a barn door 2002 Chevy Tahoe and it’s hard to find taillights that fit it
@@gustavoesquivel8676 Yeah I remember when u was looking, just make sure to look at the back of the taillights on the description pictures. The ones that look empty at the bottom will work or having the reverse light in the middle with leds like mine, it might say they don’t fit but they do😎💯
If I send u the c pillar panels can u put the leds if for me??
I can send you the kit all prewired💯 and you can stick the leds on the pillars it’s just 3m double sided tape, u can just Dm me on my Instagram @migo713
@@MiGo713 ok cool
@@demarccoguiden2066 No problem⚡️
When you move the sway bar do you need to drill new holes to it ?
In the rear yes one side only
Thank you bro i appreciate it
No problem!
By any chance you know where they might sell the custom tie rods that go under because I try look them up page sayed
Are these parts compatible for doing them one by one? So say I can put the spindles in first until I can buy the other parts ect.? Love the vid this saved me HOURS of researching and looking for parts. Clean ass truck too bro🔥 🙏
Yes you can! That’s how I did on my Yukon and Thanks!!
@@MiGo713 there a specific order you’d recommend for getting and installing the parts
Does the tires rub when making turns ?
No since I trimmed all around the area to make space, but I would recommend to tub the front to get the most space or running smaller wheels
Will this same setup fit on a 2004 Cadillac Escalade?
Yes but may be a bit different if it’s a 4x4
Are your torsion keys lowered too? Or do you have them all the way up?
Yeah I have my torsion keys lowered a bit now, because I was having a issue with the control arms from Michigan metal works which had too much positive camber. But later I will level my torsion keys back again to get the truck to sit level ⚡️
Were u got the sway bar links from?
Here #adamzn.to/3KcPyCg
How are you sir? Love the truck . I have a 2003 Cadillac Escalade . I won’t to drop my truck too I have a question for you .did you remove your front differential
Hey how are you, good here thanks for asking💯 and my truck is a rear wheel drive so I don’t have a front differential. Yours may be a bit different on the parts since it’s a 4wd. But you can call the company Djm they can guide you in the right direction with their suspension parts
Thank you for replying back That was fast. I have friends I help them with their car
But when I need their help they will think twice to help me
@@donovangordon3383 Thanks! And no problem I like to help if I can. And I understand not everyone is the same
When you was running the 22 inch rims did you need to remove the washer res. And all the cutting?
Not with 22s but the tires have to be bit lower profile than the stock tire size
What wheels are those 👍?
They are 2019 Ltz Replicas⚡️
How is the ride quality is it like stock?
I like the ride better than stock it doesn’t wobble anymore and it corners much better
It yall can help me out thatd be great but i bought my yukon denali a bit lowered and ever since sometimes it moves from side to side do you guys know what it is?
Could be your sway bars, sometimes the end links are damaged, and need replacing
What shocks do you recommend for a 3-4/6-8 drop on these Tahoe
The Djm calmax or belltech street performance both ride great on them, Djm is slightly firmer
@@MiGo713 the shocks you put in the bio will they work for those drops?
How is your drive shaft angle without adjustable uppers in the rear?
It’s good never got any issues with it after the drop👍🏽
Where did you get your front bump stop?
From belltech👍🏼
Where did you get those rear and front bumper at?
I got mines at a salvage yard
What rims
They are 2019 Taxas edition replicas 26x10
Does it ride good bro? No hitting or anything?
It rides good, after I removed some parts like windshield reservoir and stuff like that it’s good and it ride’s good. But if you want to have no problems or issues it’s best to tub the front of course if you are using big wheels 26” or bigger. 24” with low pros or smaller wheels are ok
I want to do the same. But keep 24"rims only. It shouldnt rub right?
24s should be good with some low pros, I had them on 295/30r24 tires and it was Perfect she looked nice and clean and drove great as well
How much did you Spend in total for the drop?
I’m not sure 🤔 I never really added them up since I bought them at different times and also I installed them myself, but I know it’s over 1k
Do you have Instagram or something? I have some questions for you .
@@gavin1918 yeah it’s @migo_customs
Like everyone said. Clean work. Just wanna know where did you find your D Pilar’s from and the tail lights too? I got barn doors and can’t find those anywhere
Thanks, the D pillars in the rear I got off a Escalade 03-06 they fit right in. The taillights are kind of tricky finding because most descriptions say they won’t fit. But I found these on Amazon you just have to make sure the bottom looks flat from the back and the reverse light In the middle, there’s others that fit as well, mostly looking at the pictures in the description with the flat bottom on the back of the taillights. Brake Tail Lights Set for 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe/Suburban | GMC Yukon #ad amzn.to/3S7RjDe
@@MiGo713 what do you mean flat from the bottom bro?
@@dereckhernandez5945 These are the Brake Tail Lights Set for 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe/Suburban | GMC Yukon #ad amzn.to/3S7RjDe If look in the back of the taillights the bottom part looks flat or empty there’s no light bulb so that helps it clear the barn door hinges👍🏼
Truck looks really nice..how does it ride tho?
Thanks!! She rides very good but of course you will feel the road more if your going through pot holes with the low pro tires, but if you are able to avoid that, feels just like a normal truck. And I actually like the ride better than stock since it takes the curves much better all dropped lol 💯
Got a question and im getting different answer. But wanted to ask i lowered my suburban 6" in the rear and did everything you did but i used beltech street performance lowering shocks wothout the extenders . Should i use the extenders also or no. Beltech rep says no but would like your input. Ty
You can use the lowering shocks without extenders and will work good. But you can use the shock extenders to give the shocks a better angle and more travel which is why I decided to use them on my Yukon, hope that helps and Thanks!
@@MiGo713 ty you for the reply. Ill still have the same stance correctif i use the extenders
@@nuevo_mexico_cruizerz No problem, and yes ride height stays the same 👍🏽
I have a 09 Tahoe that’s full custom and lifted 5-9 with baby lean I am wanting to sell the lift and slam it but I want it too ride good can you give me a parts list please that I need front and back when you have time
That’s cool, I would suggest getting the kit from Norcall ss website that would be the best riding kit while being low💯. I’ll attach the link here if you want to check that one out.
store.tbssowners.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=192
Is this a 4wd that u dropped
No mines is a 2wd
For the bump steer tie rod ends, did you get them on whenever you did the drop or did you have the stocks on and realized you had bump steer after the drop? Because I think ima have to order some, I have bump steer bad, 3/5 drop on my Tahoe
I added them after, it drove good except I noticed that the angle was very bad and would probably not be good in the long run
@@MiGo713 got it bro, I’m about to order some right now from the link you provided, I also noticed their out of here in Houston so ima see if I can pick them up directly lol
@@clinthernandez9393 Cool bro, yeah they’re in Houston
@@MiGo713yeah I pulled the trigger on the Norcal SS custom 6” springs, got them yesterday so hopefully they work out better than the eBay ones I’m riding on right now lol
@@clinthernandez9393 Nice bro💯 They will ride way Better I know you will like them for sure, let us know!
Can you please tell me what bumper is that in the front, how can I search it.. And I wanna know if that same bumper fits the 01 suburban!? thanks!!! please respond!
Sure, the front bumper is a Original GMC Denali bumper from a 00-06 Denali. And it will fit Tahoe’s and suburbans but it will have a slight gap in between the grill and bumper⚡️
Is ur truck 4x4 ?
No my truck is 2wd
07 Yukon with 6” rear drop I keep bottoming out and only have the springs what else do you recommend ?
If your bottoming out your frame may be hitting the rear bump tops brackets if you haven’t cut them off, and if you did that already then most likely your Panhard bracket is hitting the top on the driver side and you have to trim that area for more space, it’s next to a body mount brace. But if you look under there you should be able to see where it’s touching the frame
Tahoe looks fucken beautiful!!😍 What rear shocks did you go with?
Thanks! I had Djm but l replaced them with belltech street shocks 👍🏼
That’s sick🔥🔥🔥 where can I find that hood?
Thanks!!⚡️well this was a custom made hood I’m not sure where to find it
@@MiGo713 you can find new grease fitting just screw it in . That escalade bumper look 🔥 on back
@@tylerangieslayton7455 Thanks!!💯 Yeah the only problem is that my fitting broke and left the thread inside lol but I’ll mess with it one day or replace them lol they seem to be working good for now👍🏼
So I have a 3/5 drop on a 04 Yukon sitting on 24s and I have bad camber, would you still recommend the same upper control arms, if not what would you recommend?
How did you get the front 3 drop with torsion keys? And yes any upper control arm with about +3 degrees of positive camber will fix that.
@@MiGo713 yea keys and spindle, okay wasn’t too sure if the ones you used were going to be too big for a drop not as low thank you
@@isaiaispuente8948 Oh ok, so 1” from the keys 2” drop spindles, so you shouldn’t have too much camber, but yeah djm has a different model that is not too long on the website, not sure if you have your alignment specs where it will show you how many degrees of correction you will need it may be from 1 to 3 degrees usually, and no Problem hope that helps out👍🏼
