Nice review and first look at OTA 2. Couple of points that I hope may help. To start the Ocean you only need to press the brake pedal with the key anywhere inside the car. On the Ocean One and Extreme you have small boxes under each seat for storage in addition to the centre console dual wireless chargers and double storage space below that. The tray on the passenger side is great and accompanies the pop up tray stored under the armrest. The buttons at the base of the rear view mirror adjust the zoom and panning of the rear view camera in the spoiler at the top of the rear window. Multiple USB ports are in the centre console and pop down in the rear cabin between the seats. Rear seats can be reclined and environment plus audio can also be controlled from the rear armrest. In the boot/trunk the floor is split with neat inbuilt shopping bag hooks, power ports and dual boot lights. Additional storage is also under the boot floor front and back of the boot. I’m waiting for the OTA 2 to arrive for my Extreme here in the UK. Look out for the little surf dudes and gals as well as a rock climber who is inside the centre arm rest. Loads of room in every seat in all directions. All in all it’s a really nice car, brutally quick and stunning to look at. Like most I’m waiting for the software to improve but it’s beautiful and the best car I’ve ever owned. With over 60 individual processing modules onboard the potential to improve is huge. Don’t listen to the negative press, the Ocean is superb, I know, I have one. Happy driving from the UK.
@@stevehirjak7824 Probably sooner than we think. They’re selling their cars at a 50% reduction starting 3/29. This company is one the way out sooner than later.
a REAL review! MKBHD acted like he didn't really want to review the Fisker Ocean. He missed ALOT of details that YOU managed to capture for us! Thank you!!
I have a VIN # for a Fisker Ocean Sport in Mariana (blue) This is one of the best videos I have ever seen of the FO. I’ve watched hundreds of hours of them on YT the past year. I ordered mine two years ago after test driving it. I immediately thought yes!! I absolutely want one!! I just subscribed to your channel, thanks for a very informative video. Also recently purchased over 4000 shares of FSR for a nice future investment.
Hi, great review, I like seeing a positive one about this great vehicle. The SPORT is just too basic in so many ways. Let's keep the good vibes going and also make this a successful endeavor, lastly, get the stock back up!
Kudos. I love my. Fisker Ocean One. Glad you're having the same positive experience most of us are having. Tesla simps been trying to tank a beautiful vehicle.
Thanks for the review . could you please take some pictures of the dealership in GA and postec it will means a lot to fisker lovers to see the company is growing
15:20 really like to have the backseat adjustment. It should make longer trips more comfortable for rear seat passengers. Really love that feature. And I like the fact that it is electronically adjusted so I don't have to turn my body to any buttons on the side or back of seats to do that. Very nice touch.
Nice review containing a great amount of detail. Just a few corrections: 1. The Ocean ONE is a 2023 model year and not a 2024. 2. The key does not need to be placed at the NFC reader, when the fob battery is good. 3. The buttons on the rearview mirror are for configuring the features of the digital mirror and not wireless garage door access.
I went back and forth in 2023/2024. I think the car actually said 2024 but the sticker said 2023. I remember seeing each number. I should have worded the key differently. I was more so trying to show that location and as for the mirror buttons, the week before the Fisker tech said it would be made into garage door openers lol.
I certainly understand the confusion. My car originally showed "2035 FiskerOcean" and only after a software update changed to "2024 FiskerOcean". I figure the next update will zero in on the correct 2023 model year. Lol
Nice review given your limited time with the Ocean. Did Classic or Fisker compensate you in some way? I wondering given how overwhelmingly positive your review is making no mention of any software quirks?
No they didn't pay me or anything. I asked them if I could make a video on them since they had the software 2.0 update after test driving one the week before. This update seemed very solid and seemed to fix the issues from the original 1.0 software.
Nice car for sure. But why the cuts in the video when you going thru touchscreen menu items. That means that is ton of software lag when you change options thru touchscreen. Right?
No, thats actually just how I edit. I dont recall the touchscreen being slow. It seemed like most EV's. Not on a Tesla level but equal to other EV's I have driven.
The Ocean does look amazing. I had the basic reservation for two years. I have not closed on a deal because it’s difficult to test drive one in 7:26 the SF Bay Area. I also think the Sport, more in my budget range, doesn’t have great options available. I, too, bought shares, but with this bankruptcy talk going on, coupled with layoffs, I no longer have access to one in Marin County. Is Fisker going to make it?
It does... but it also doesn't in my book. To me dual climate means I can cut off one side of the vents and in my 2018 Model 3 I cant do that. I can set one side to be warmer than the other, but compared to how this one worked it seemed better on the Ocean.
Has anyone figured out how to adjust settings in the nav system? Mine is really loud and only gives me a 1/2 mile warning to turn, exit a freeway, etc. Not much warning when you’re on a 5 or 6 lane freeway! And any idea where to add window washer fluid?
I know I looked at these settings but I cannot recall what Nav settings they had. I remember the toll options and stuff. As for the windshield washer fluid, It is just under the windshield on the passenger side. You will see a small cover that you can pop off that says "washer fluid only" to add more windshield washer fluid. I actually cut that from the video and should have left it lol.
How do you review a car which you have no idea about it? Like garage opener (never included), to turn on the vehicle using NFC reader is only requiring when the key fob is not working properly which is most of the time.
I do have drive a Model 3. It has "dual climate" but you can't cut off one side like you can in the Fisker. At least in my 2018 Model I can't cut off one side. I can make one cold and one hot though. I worded it badly in this video lol.
I agree. As a Tesla owner myself, I am not a fan of the navigation. I think it is because they selected Tomtom lol. They did say Android Auto/CarPlay should be coming in an update so that would make a big difference.
The car looks amazing but its too much drama around it. Don't think the company will even last. It might be better to wait if this company survives before getting on of their vehicles.
@@AlfinoYosewhere do you get the car serviced? Interesting. The Fisker team said it would be garage door openers on the mirror.
Thanks for this, currently have a MY and have a Fisker Ocean test drive booked at the Milton Keynes site next Saturday.

Nice!! We plan to get one if they make the Flex Lease.
The company is apparently collapsing and heading towards bankruptcy.
Update!! I upgraded to the Ocean Ultra yesterday! Approved by my local credit union and hopefully be driving this by May….

Fisker remains a revolutionary car brand like Rivian, Lucid, and Mullen Automotive and it will be a good investment.

It's a 2023 - 2024's aren't even in inventory. The Ocean "One" was for the 2023 model year.

The garage door opener was told to me by the Fisker tech onsite, same with the key. I was just doing what they said.
Do you really drive a model 3? That car does have dual climate control.

That NAV UI is not very detailed, pretty dismal IMO compared to my Model X Plaid. Does it at least have a hybrid or satellite mode?
