Praise God. I was also saved by Jesus three years ago, I was part of the LGBTQ, the Holy Spirit helped me understand the difference between temptations and sin. He delivered me from addictions to lust, drugs, etc.

Amen thanks for sharing brother! We have a similar story in the sense I felt lost and didn't have purpose in life by living this sinful lifestyle. I'm so glad to be finally free and who the son sets free is free indeed. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life 🙏

Hey everyone I had a dream June 4 that it was a guard at a street, remember that people was trying to get pass him. But u had to be required to do something or have something.. then the people started getting angry at him they started throwing things at him, the guard started using his weapon and was firing back at them.. so then I remember everyone ran including me (I was just there for some reason) but we kept going an I remember my soul went up to Heaven & I was able to view the guards an where I was at.. I was able to see my warrior suit it was like a Greek god type of armor. It was all gold but also I seen another area there were some more guards.. so I think I was getting ready for battle.
I had a dream June 11, so you know how Jesus was casting out demons in the Bible.. well in the dream I had I was rebuking a demon out of someone.. remember that the demon was crying out saying no but he had to go in Jesus name.. so my faith was strong in Jesus and it felt as if it was power in my eye sight when looking at the demon.. you know how when you look at something then look at something else.. that’s what I did but when I did it it was like I can feel the power in my eyes. It was an extremely strong source of power..

@ZACH - Hi I'm Andrea. 1st of all St. Louis has the most beautiful Tudor homes ever!! I'm in Tulsa, but I wanted to tell you about my good friend. I'll call him John Doe. I'm a non religious, non denominational follower of Jesus Christ & when I was filled with the Holy Spirit, I was given a very strong 6th sense and the spirit of discernment. So my friend John in the 20 yrs of knowing him, he never dated or talked about women or men and I could feel what was going on but figured when he wanted me to know, he would tell me. Well he finally did & I have such respect for this man because of what he is choosing in life. John has not been set free from the spirit of homosexuality and is still sexually attracted to men. He prays to be set free from this every day as do I, but for reasons we can't understand, he is still attracted to men, but he chooses to abstain from this desire and lives as he should, and not how he wants. He goes to church every Sunday morning and night and every Wednesday as well. Also any church function, he is there. He has so much respect for our Lord & loves Him so much, that he is willing to go through life alone, and without a partner so he does not go against the Word of the 1 True God. Most people would say I was born this way and continue living a life of sin, but John believes that no one is born gay. I have never met a man who truly puts the word of God before their own desires the way John does & he inspires me to be better. I could go on but I've already written a book instead of just a comment lol so hopefully there was something I said that you needed to hear. If you want to hear more, just let me know. I don't know if God has taken the desire from you yet, but praise Jesus He is strengthening you to surrender to Him. Have faith that he can remove the desire altogether. He has done it for me, and so it definitely can happen for you. I am encouraged that you actually had people attempt to pursued you through promiscuous gestures, but you were able to flee from it. It's incredibly commendable, and I hope that If I am ever in the same boat, I am protected the same. I love you brother, and from a man who has also been led away from the cursed lifestyle, may God bless you!

The truth is that gays, as much as heteros, want to connect, to care, to love, to feel responsible and to feel safe, and when they found that in a same sex partner, they also want to have sex with him/her.

I got a little lost with your story. I identified as a gay man for years. I recently have changed from that to handing my life over to the lord. I had an issue with alcohol and I hit a rock-bottom. I have eight years of sobriety and I believe I was saved. I don't want a relationship with anyone and prefer being on my own. I still see the beauty in the same gender but I don't want anything sexual.

Brother praise Jesus you are finding identity in Jesus..I want to counsel though that the thoughts are also sin…Jesus said this…about anything…that it’s in our heart.( mind will emotions) these are spirits..the temptations come..but what you can do is by authority in Christ rebuke the spirits of effiminacy and renew your mind daily.l,speak to yourself from scripture regarding how God really created you in His image. Speak commandments..if you have thoughts…to not covet..to not have gods before Him…( the spirit of effeminacy has some of these practices attached) it doesn’t mean you will be attracted to women though God can do that too…but it means you will do battle and help others do battle. Could you share how you matured to understand homosexuality and why you chose Jesus over it? I’m not a troll, I genuinely would like to hear more of your story. Porn and OF are a separate discussion than same sex relationships in general. Porn is dark for heteros too. I encourage you to explore if you've perhaps confused homosexuality with hypersexuality, lust, sex outside of marriage, etc. I just want folks to be peaceful and happy. I don't think it's a problem for you to love men. It saddens me that you may be living a life alone now as so many "ex-gays" do. And yes I've read the Bible and I know the passages folks reference to claim that it's a sin. A lot of the Bible is not one translation and can be interpreted many ways. I became a Christian after Jesus revealed Himself to me. For me I can ask and He can guide me. It isn't just about what a Bible says but also the conversations we have with God and Jesus. I am still learning and discerning, but thus far I'm not being led to believe it's a sin.

To me, he is equating same-sex attraction to hypersexuality. I am a gay man I never take drugs, I am in a monogamous relationship which means I don't have sex with multiple men. I didn't start an only fan as I finished my doctorate in Physiology and now do research. He doesn't understand he chose to live that hypersexuality lifestyle, his same-sex attraction didn't make him do those things he didn't like to do. He had every control over how he wanted to live his life, but now he is saying his homosexuality made him live that way. BS.

Honestly dude, I admire your journey to becoming a born-again Christian, as I'm spiritual myself, but the fact that you feel like you had to leave the gay community because you became a born-again Christian is just sad. I genuinely feel bad for you.
Homosexuality / LGBTQ isn't something that you can just leave, it's a part of you. There's no reason why you should feel guilt for being part of the LGBTQ community, it's nonsensical. Gay conversion therapy never works and is often predatory. I'm not saying this out of judgment, I'm saying this out of pure concern for your identity. Leviticus is often misinterpreted as mentioning "man shall not lay with man." However, the quote in Hebrew was originally "man shall not lay with boy", referencing pedophilia. You may have some rebuttals, and that's fine, I'm open to it. This leaving of homosexuality seems to be sprung up by internal guilt, and I have an itching suspicion that it is due to people around you. You should not leave a fundamental part of yourself behind because you want to fit in, or you fear eternal damnation. Maybe you're bisexual, and you determined that you are attracted to women. I don't know, I'm not you. I'm convinced those urges will never go away, as much as you would like to deny their existence. You can't force yourself to like broccoli if you genuinely dislike broccoli.

He never said he was going to be straight. Just that he won’t act on his homosexuality. Celibacy is commendable when a fruitful, valid marital act can’t be committed. I can elaborate on why Christianity does not tolerate homosexual unions (while tolerating heterosexual marriages, even infertile ones) if you want; I think it’s a really interesting topic.

Hi! It is actually not the same thing. I am also a man that experiences same-sex attraction but that doesn't go according to this attractions. This means that I don't identify myself as a homosexual, which is the lifestyle. If you have the desire to drink (alcohol) but don't give into this desire, then are you an alcoholic?
As said, I identified as homosexual when I lived that lifestyle, but not anymore. I don't know if you identify yourself as a gay and can talk from your own experience, but I'd love to tell you more about mine and Zach's experience and the incredible change it brought us. :) much love

Nobody’s forcing anybody to think one way or the other. It’s not his surroundings or guilt on anything anymore.
With that said? I’m very proud of him, & you can be attracted to anybody of any gender you want. It’s whether your heart is fulfilled in doing those actions. Or is it still empty after each dip in the pool as it were. Fleeting dopamine rush of the body’s reactions to pleasure.
What matters more? Is his overflowing love of himself and his relationship to God. When that happens? That perfect/or non perfect person will eventually meet him if it’s destiny for it to happen. It’s up to him afterwards to pursue a love interest.
Taking clips from & understanding the Bible is one thing, but, when it conquers the depression of life so that you know now your life has meaning?
It means you can learn to expand yourself, and no longer being afraid of people who don’t understand, or don’t want to understand you & your happiness you’ve found.
That’s the difference & the Choice that was given to us by God. You can always be saved no matter what. GOD judges so you don’t have to.
As for the LGBTQ+ communities? I’ve worked in them and help them if they ask. & he is definitely right about these communities that don’t have a positive guidance of inclusivity within it. If you can’t accept someone for making their choices no matter what it is? You’re abandoning them and not being inclusive at all. You’re creating toxic issues that make the communities smaller with smaller thinking. Love is supposed to be love, and yet? A religious reawakening announcement? And you all Run?!! What?
Cuz you’re all jealous that he might be untouchable now?? That he can’t still include you in his life? Egos & Narcissistic & political Cult minded mentality is what the toxic LGBTQ++ communities in certain areas have become, if you don’t think this one way? You are still gay if you are primarily attracted to men. There are millions of gay men who are celibate or married to women. But that does not change their sexual orientation. If you actually changed your sexual orientation, you will be the first person who succeeded. The National Institute of Health will want to examine you since they know of no cases of people changing their sexual orientation.
You're still not seeing it; he never said he changed his sexuality. He said that God did it. I agree that no human can control their urges on their own will, but we have a God who is sovereign, and is not limited to the same boundary.

If God changed his sexual orientation, then he needs to demonstrate that change to the medical community. Millions of gay males and lesbian females have prayed to God to change their sexual orientation over the centuries without success. Becoming closer to God does not alter a person's sexual orientation. If it did, then praying to God would be the solution for every person who feels they are attracted to people of their own gender. There are plenty of churches and ministers who claim that faith in God will result in changing a person from homosexual to heterosexual. But the medical community does not have any examples of those individuals they can show to the public.

I would have preferred you asking this as a question rather than making this a statement, because I can assure you that God can definitely answer the prayer, if the prayer is in humble faithfulness. God answered it for me, once I prayed the prayer in a humble way, and not just for control. A lot of people, including younger me had no success BECAUSE the prayer was in vanity.
Once you think about why they made the prayer in the first place it may help you to see where the prayer was actually targeting, which wasn’t actually about the gayness at all. Most people don’t even want to truly surrender the attraction when they make the prayer. They just want to be allowed to act on the attraction as if it were no different than if they were heterosexual.
Once people realize the problem isn’t the sexual attraction, but a result of the problem, they’ll come closer to making the prayer that will bring them to Jesus, who can truly set them free from the pain they’ve been succumbed to.
Where did you get your source. Straight men can become homosexual. Why can’t homosexuals become straight?
It really sux to live a lie in the name or religion. You can't pray the gay away, but you can sure pretend that it's not there.
Thank you for mentioning this, people who continue pushing the idea that you can pray the gay away are causing more harm in society because they go on to marry women and have children and later regret it, John Paulk is one of many famous examples. Yes in some cases people are gay because of trauma ie sexual abuse at a tender age but it's important to make a distinction here and that is there's a difference between someone who's naturally gay and somebody whose homosexuality is actually a trauma response. I believe the latter might actually turn straight in certain instances because they were not really gay to begin with, they were harmed but there's many who still remain homosexual even after healing from the trauma because being gay is what they had evolved into. The reason I'm mentioning this critical difference is to make people understand that homosexuality is not a pathology, a large majority of gay people are not gay because of some trauma, be it sexual or otherwise so it's important not to conflate the two
No what sucks is when we have mankind fallen for the tricks of satan. Desiring themselves and doing what thou wilt rather than having a loving fear of God in Christ Jesus.
