@@maomekat2369 depends tbh. If you just work there as a salesman then no, but if you own the place and have enough money etc. then maybe yeah. And I do believe he has a decent collection of watches. Not too many but a nice few watches. Very classy ones. He usually wears a sky-dweller if I’m not mistaken.

I'm pretty sure his Omega Speedmaster is a replica one that was used for a movie and then I guess he kept it, so unfortunately not a real one.

If nothing else, it's a non-OEM dial. That font is WAY off. The subdials look to be in the right spot, though, which is often a dead giveaway.

Love this channel and RDJ. I'm a certified Seikopath, but the amount of hate that RDJ caught from Seiko enthusiasts was hilarious. Seiko is a great house and RDJ's opinion, informed or otherwise, doesn't make a dent in the grand scheme of things.

If the close ups are of RDJ’s actual pieces I love how bashed up the cases are. Shows that he actually wears them and is not just buying them to say he has them. Top bloke.

That's the sound of Seiko's marketing department falling on their faces and dragging on the pavement. If they'd done a better job, Seiko wouldn't have such a perception among laypeople.
He kind of outed himself as not knowing anything about watches with that comment. I’d way rather a grand Seiko snowflake over any of those Rolex, that he thinks so highly of.
@@glenbuyer8738 Nobody expects an actor like RDJ to know anything about such a niche hobby like watches, but it's such a fail on Seiko's part that they've allowed their branding to fare so poorly. You ask any person on the street what they think of Seiko, and I guarantee they'll echo RDJ's disgust. It's a real shame that you need to be a watch nerd in order to understand the value of Seiko, but you don't have to know anything about watches to know and venerate the likes of Rolex and Omega.

Robert Downey Jr. has a great collection. His watched have a meaning and he knows a lot about them, he’s unlike all these American rappers who have a watch cos it’s “expensive” or “has a lot of diamonds”
Not a big fan of stones in watches, like stones in the band and over bling bezels and dials are tacky as hell. But there are some classy diamond dials and bezels

I'm assuming it was given to him. Prolly someone in Hollywood trying to impress him with an "expensive" gift or a movie prop, where they sometimes use replicas. Another is it could really be a replica, I remember hearing a story that rich people sometimes have replicas of all their watches, which they use to wear outside sometimes in case they get robbed.
All fakes have much bigger space between subdials. There's no clone of their movement :)

Refreshing to see Baume et Mercier pop up. I bought myself a white dial Baume et Mercier Classima for my first ‘luxury’ watch. Still have it as my daily, an elegant and underrated entry level watch in my opinion.
Baume et Mercier is my first luxury watch brand too, only Capeland. I love it. Well I had a Tissot Seastar 1000 before that, if it counts..
