I remember seeing the original Strandberg guitars on ProjectGuitar way back when . . . and even my tools (sje-tools) started out from that forum. The days when forums were of use and not full of crap like these days :)
Here is a link to some of his early works - www.projectguitar.com/forums/topic/42643-three-more-strandberg-ergonomic-guitars/?page=3
(just reached 15mins in when he mentions it!)
FInished watching now and from my perspective, it was really interesting to hear the background story to the posts I used to read on the ProjectGuitar forum.

Something I love about Ola Strandberg is that he KNOWS he has done amazing things for the guitar scene. He's not conceited or self-absorbed, but he doesn't do those bashful "oh stop it" responses. He's aware that he's done great work, and he seems so driven to keep doing so. Can't wait for my Strandberg.

I think part of it has to do with his "open source" design policy. He has laid incredible ground work with his ideas and continues to innovate but he also gives access (with permission) to his designs for others to improve upon as long as any tweaks are made available as well. ❤ he knows his work allows others to grow and evolve his concepts - moving guitar design forward at a faster rate. This man is a world treasure and he has every right and reason to be proud and confident in his work.

I was apprehensive about Strandberg at first, but it did everything I ever wanted a guitar to do and I can relate to Ola being a professional in IT. I bought a Prog 7 for the new year, now few months later I’m getting an Original 8. Those are phenomenal, I’m struggling to reason with myself to pick any other guitar up. Strandbergs are so easy, so light, so playable, they have such low noise floor (Fishman ones at least), so resonant, they sound soo good in studio. God damn, there’s so many other great guitar brands, but, especially for the price, I just can’t buy any other guitar 🤯

Canadians are similar when it comes to French. There are parts of their country they consider impossible for others to blend with society if they don’t speak French, so it’s a require language in school. I think we should do that for Spanish. • The short scale for the lowest string on the 6 string (25,5).
      • The small guitar body.

The AAL song Ola couldn't recall was New Eden. I think. It was referenced by Javier during a rig rundown.

So. Now the perfect compromise would be a true-temperament-multiscale, evertune and EndurNeck equipped baritone "Solar Strandberg". Have you considered negotiating a good licensing-deal to put the EndurNeck on some of your Solar guitars?

This video made me want a Strandberg. Very interesting design. Wish I could try one out but I don't think there are any near me except possibly in private collections. Still, I just might have to take the chance.

This was an absolutely beautiful interview... that was awesome
Strandberg are amazing guitars and now that they launched also the bass guitar models it's just next level (i'm a bass player)
I'd love to own one of those bass but the only problem it's that they are too expensive (or at least for me ahaha)

.s* are "you do something for yourself, sometimes"-things. Some people buy a "brand new iPhone", a new car, or something. Just buy an .s* :)
