Hi sir can you share your email I need your opinion for repeat stent under Restenosis
Your videos are extremely helpful & I have watched almost all of them.
Am a 63 yr old female. Suffered MI on 23 July but angiogram couldn’t be done immediately as I live in remote part of India with very limited medical facilities. Angioplasty was finally done on 5 Aug (11 days after MI). PTCA with stent to D1. Proximal 95% stenosis.
Am extremely concerned about restenosis.
I have watched all your videos. symptoms of restenosis are mentioned in brief.
In the absence of ECHO & TMT, is there a way of knowing that blockage is again developing in the stent & I should see a cardiologist?
Will ECG every month give an early warning about blockage developing in the stent?
Treadmill test is easy way to check stents...CT angio might be done every 5 years in selected cases

Yes you can
@@ENGLISH.CARDIO.CARE.DRNAVIN wow thaks you answer my question, thank you sooooo much doc.... more power to your channel..
Dr pliz tell me Can l get side effects of getting stent in my heart
No.. See my videos on stent for details
What if I want to remove the stent, can this be done? Or is there a stent which dissolves on its own instead of a metal stent.
No it can't be removed..dissolving stents have very poor results..hence not in ise
I had a heart cath last April. They placed a medicated stent in my 80% blocked widow maker. I’ve been having a bad metallic taste in my mouth ever since. Could the medicated stent cause that?
It's not related to stent.. Need to find out the other causes... Check renal and liver function.. See my videos on tasteless mouth and metallic taste for details..
@@ENGLISH.CARDIO.CARE.DRNAVINthank you very much! I sure will!
But sir yesterday my father went to cag and detected that it is 50-60% restenosis in lad..
My father PTCA in 2022 on the 10th of march... My father has been feeling shortness of breath for the last couple of months.. Then the doctor said go to the CAG and it detected restenosis in LAD..
Continue with medicines...
@@ENGLISH.CARDIO.CARE.DRNAVIN
Thanks for your comments..
Further development is narrated below for your valuable observation please-
1) After the CAG the cardiologist advised for REVASCULARIZATION (DEB) in the report ( which I forgot to intimate earlier)
2) my father went for 2 nd opinion to the cardiologist who had performed my father PTCA 2 YRS AGO he advised THALLIUM STRESS TEST for confirmation. He also categorically informed that if there is significant restenosis at all it needs CABG, Stenting Or DEB will not serve the purpose.
Please advice.

sir,
My mother is 52 years old, last 04/04/23 there was 90% block in left artery, then angioplasty was done, then in August this back pain started and angiography showed block again in the same place within four months. Now re-stenoised 19/08/23. Then what precautions should be taken if it is very beneficial. What could be the problem again?
See my playlist on angioplasty and life and follow up after angioplasty for details..
Dr. Navin, my father had stent put in 10yrs ago and now he had chest pain twice in a month. He is 74yrs old with diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. He went to the hospital today and angiography and they told him there is blockage and he needs another stent. What's your take on this please?

@drnavinagrawalcardiocareen1224 , I was at the hospital the whole day. It's on a disc. Well, maybe the written report . I will check into it. Do I email it to you or?
My father did an angioplasty 6 months before 3 stents.. and restenosis occurred in two areas with 80 percent and 60 percent.. and one more other blockge.. he was not comtrolling food properly.. and is diabetic one doctor suggested to do angioplasty again and we rook a second opinion that doctor suggested bypass to do…kindly reply… bypass or angioplasty in ur opinion..? Good evening sir

Dr. I am 70 years old (female) and a diabetic patient I have.undergone angioplasty ten years ago. Is it necessary to.replace the Stent in future, please advice
No..it works lifelong
Thanks doctor for your kind cooperation
Is your stent Still work?
Dr my father has undergone angioplasty 3years ago and two stents were placed. Now we go for health checkup after every three months and doctor asked for echo and in echo report some Akinesia of apical septum shows. My father has no such symptoms of any pain. Doctor asked for immediate angiography and in angiography, it shows one of the main artery in which stent was placed earlier is again blocked. 100% blocked. He told us for again placement of another stent. But as such no symptoms of pain is showing. Now please help should we go for another angioplasty or not?
You should do plasty..lad is the main vessel of the heart..if the area supplied is viable as can be checked by cardiac mri..plasty can be done
Sir again placing stent on the same place in which earlier stent was placed is very risky as said by doctors. Lad mid 100% blocked but having no symptoms. Can it be cured by maintaining diet and regular medicines?
@@deepikagandhi7018 please see youtube Dr Berg reference asclerotherosis
So if it's a 100% and no heart attack, maybe he 's got the collateral arteries built naturally for bypass? @@ENGLISH.CARDIO.CARE.DRNAVIN
@@deepikagandhi7018 how is he now and what did you do now then ? And what was his lvef in echo ?
Sir can we put new stent inside the old stent?
Yes we can
Hi Dr. very educational info. Thank you!. One quick question. Is 2.75 mm LAD diameter and 38 mm length of the stent can support an old stent if restenosis do take place? I thought 2.75 mm diameter of the stent is a bit small or it's nomral for LAD artery? @@ENGLISH.CARDIO.CARE.DRNAVIN
