Hey I like your video, you should do some of the shorts you do but cut out the low noise sections because it's picking up your breathing and without your hand so it's sort of a stop motion version of you building the Lego piece, could be a cool idea
Thanks for these super helpful tips. 144 subscribers here…started off 4 months ago. Not the kind of growth I was expecting, lol…but I‘m proud of how far I‘ve come
You're doing much better than I am. I started 8 months ago and am currently at 28 subscribers. I just take it day by day and hopefully things will pick up.

Like I said, I do all of my RUclips stuff on my phone, but I finally got my GoPro working so I’m going to use that too to make and put videos on my phone onto RUclips
this info so useful - i just went and rechecked my settings. excellent video. so well put together, not too slow and not super speedy, i appreciate that. informative, for sure.
I did a different experiment. I stopped uploading content after my views tanked. It began as sort of an "absence makes the heart grow fonder" kind of thing. I wanted to see if a cooldown was in order. It's when I decided to upload something after that break, *and it got literally zero views after a week* I knew it was over. What small channels also need to learn, is when it's time to hang it up.
@SamkeVilana I fully agree with you there, but small channels are often like people who can't ever seem to find the right person using online dating. They usually end up settling for whatever crap they get.
i've been on and off trying to get into YT, issue is i am very introverted and it shows in my voice when i try to add it on my video. slowly and surely the more amount of videos i upload i can feel a little bit at ease, still a long way from actually breaking my shell. but if there is anyone else who is like me who has anxiety and introvertednes... don't give up, you are not alone !
I hit the limit, when I was trying to upload a reaction video to a marvel show, everytime it took 20 minutes to upload I got the copyright check fail, so had to cancel upload and edit down more, did this about 20 times, then when I tried to upload the final version it said upload limit reach, come back in 24 hours, even though none of the previous 20 got officially uploaded, just cancelled as it failed thr copyright check, and they actually made me wait 30 hours to try again, it was infuriating
Be careful of your background music if you use it. Their system must of picked up on it. Either mute it or find background music that you are able to use and not get a strike. YT should have said where in your video the copyright infringement is happening at. 20 times….wow.
@@OrchestralMusicMidJourneyArt I paid to have my own background music made and I just use it for all my videos now, i refuse to be caught out again lol
@@OrchestralMusicMidJourneyArt it was the smart play in the long run, RUclips have done a lot of very shifty things already in terms of stunting my channel, so don't want to give them actual ammunition

So thanks for these lessons - they make the process a wee bit less overwhelming. Courage to everyone on this YT adventure.

This has become my go to channel for support and advice. I didn’t know the rules about Live streaming so that is useful as I plan to use this feature at some point. Thanks
Some people SHOULD just give up. Either because the market is oversaturated with your niche and you aren't providing quality Or because you're mistaking youtube for social media
I'm sure there are some low-effort automated spam channels that have hit the daily upload limit. But if you're a normal sane human, I doubt you have to worry about it.
I'm trying so hard to grow my RUclips channel about indie games. It's a hell of a journey! Sometimes I can get views that are beyond my expectations, but sometimes it is not pushed enough and it ends up with 100-200 views. I have no idea how it works. I also struggle a bit because English is not my first language and I often mispronounce words 😅
Thank you for these tips! I also think people don't want to subscribe to channels that are starting out, because they think people with low sub counts aren't good content creators. Whereas channels with thousands of subs must be (If that makes sense lol). I'm also trying to stay consistent, so hopefully my channel can grow following these steps!
@@EnchantingThailand-99 I think that's just how things are now. I'd be lying if I said that I hadn't thought the same before, but there's a lot of "small" Channels that make great content.

I created a video with all of my free time for two weeks. Got 300 views. But when I created a video for just one day, it had more views. RUclips algorithm is so random on what to recommend on browse features.
When I first started my Yt channel, I stocked up on videos and I was going to post them all on the same day but then it gave me a warning that I reached my daily limit. I don’t quite remember but I think that I could only upload seven videos in one day.
I think one of the main skills I have learnt, or trying to learn is editing, I know it sounds simple but when it comes to editing yourself, well that's a hole different kettle of fish, you become biased because it's your own work, I'm now trying to create videos around 10-20 mins, well trying lol
I have a question about a RUclips channel that has 260,000 subscribers and whose videos were approaching a million views each month. However, about a month ago, the viewing numbers dropped dramatically to around 7,000, and yesterday the channel owner announced they would stop producing content. Other channels that create content in the same niche continue to receive significantly higher views, even those with only 15,000 subscribers are getting many more views than the channel with 260,000 subscribers. My question is, why did this channel suddenly experience such a decline? Why would the algorithm seemingly place a shadow ban on the channel? While RUclips does not officially recognize the concept of a shadow ban, I can't find any other explanation for this situation.
If your just starting out. Upload more and more shorts not forgetting long form videos so as to get more exposure. Shorts get promoted alot by RUclips.
Very helpful tips. I did nearly 85% of what you've shared but will definitely go back into settings to do the rest. We need more informative content like your channel to help those starting out in the RUclips world...🙂
When I started my channel, I recorded about 7-8 videos in one day, by just standing in front of a whiteboard and teaching with a camera on my face, and I'd upload them with literally zero editing. After 3 days of recording, I had 20+ videos, and uploading all of them wasn't possible then

16 shorts a day I learned that on my last channel as I only made shorts for 6 months got 10k subscribers and I realized that I didn’t have any real support from 10k subscribers that the algorithm was just pushing anything that I uploaded and I wouldn’t recommend gaining subscribers the way I did with shorts but with my new channel I will go over what I did to get subs and why I don’t recommend it unless you have all requirements for partnerships except 1k subscribers then you can use them for subs but even so shorts can be effective regardless how you use them I recommend a way that is better for your brand
