Bought an old Delta, cleaned it up and replaced a few parts. It’s been sitting on the bench for weeks but just yesterday I gave it a whirl. Enjoyed myself just making a handle but this tutorial is greatly appreciated. Keep them coming if it doesn’t bore you too much. You’re a great teacher.
I liked your video because you kept it simple for us newbies. I wish you had a way to make it easier to hear your helpful comments while the lathe is running. Thank you!
Excellent coverage on the basics, Walt. I have seen Nick do these several times and I like the orange Puff paint he uses to pull the nose and black puff paint for the eyes and buttons.

Thanks Lyle, look at my web site waltwager.com for other videos and handouts. I assume you know about AAW Woodturner.org. Lots of good info there.

Thanks, Walter for your presentation, we now have a few months to make our next ‘home made’ ornaments as Xmas gifts. 👍😁🇦🇺🦘

nice work, very descriptive, hoping to see more Xmas ideas
Yes, I didn't have any puff paint but I agree it enhances the snowman ornaments. A ribbon around the neck helps too.
